A riveting new book in the Xeno Sapien series!
This series keeps getting better and better! Zealish is quite an unusual Xeno Sapien. Due to traumatic events, he is at his most animalistic when he meets his true mate. Angela grows to like him even in this state. They are quite a colorful couple. I love watching them together, learning about each other. I’m also fascinated by Angela and her twin, Everly. Definitely more than your ‘everyday’ twins! Jealousy causes a few interesting moments and Angela seems to have a knack for getting in trouble. Crested Ute is relentless in pursuit of their goals.
I just adore these Xeno children! Wherever they are, there’s sure to be a crowd of adults nearby to spoil them silly!
The author has done a wonderful job of world building and this I really enjoyed this story. The plot was a interesting one and it’s a book that any sci-fi romance reader would love to read.

Although I have not read any of the other books in this quite prolific series, this fact has not lessened my enjoyment of this exciting book as it stands exceptionally well on its own! An action packed storyline just teeming with a ton load of extremely interesting secondary characters who mesh so well in to the plot. I love Zealish and Angela’s steamy romantic adventure and might I add how much I just love happy ever afters like theirs. Oh wow, very nice!

Zealish has been in an extremely animalistic state and its in that state that he meets his true mate Angela twin to Everly. She has been hiding out in the xeno sapiens compound and is drawn to him but she thinks she is a substitution for her twin so she leaves him. Zealish wakes up to find what he thought happened him finding his true mate was a dream or was it? Can he save her in time? This is the first book I have read in this series and although I believe i would have gotten way more out of it if I had read them in order I thought it was still a good read. I do plan on going back and reading the previous books now that I know they are enjoyable. I thought Angela was a great character so strong and determined and that she and Zealish had great chemistry in both his forms.
This book hooked me from the get go I just couldn’t put it down I fell in love with these characters and omg what a story just a perfect read

Ever wake up and wonder if it was real or a dream? Well for Zealish it was a real. And his mind is having difficulty processing everything that happened. Did he meet his mate, and take care of her while in his primitive form, or did she take care of him?
Angela, twin to Everly, crossed the wall the way her twin did by making one of them thinking she was Everly. Once over and on the other side, she was drawn to the most primitive Xeno Sapien who was being ruffed up in a electric cage.
Zee cared for her as best he could in his primitive state until they found her. Then in return she cared for him, until she needed to leave and take care of business involving her sister.
After reverting back to his human form, Zee wakes and learns that it wasn’t a dream after all. But, he now needs to rescue his true mate.
Angela’s not your everyday run of the mill female, she’s brave and she has a deadly streak in her. She handled Zee in his primitive form, but is she ready for his human one?
Zee after being shown what’s happened to Angela he’s ready to save her so he can keep her. He’s ready to take on anyone who hurts his mate!
If you have not read any of the Xeno Sapiens books yet, may I suggest you read Book 1 for background information. But, this book Assassin’s Mate is the ninth in the series, which is a stand-alone, but does share a connection to the eighth book, which deals with her twin Everly.
I’m already excited for what’s next in this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I enjoyed this suspenseful story! It’s very intriguing and an interesting plot. The story is a fairly quick, fast paced read that is nicely developed. I love the characters and the twists in the story. Zealish and Angela are strong characters with great chemistry. This is another great and exciting Xeno Sapien story!
This is the first book by this Author that I have read, a well written story , I now want to read the other books in this series. This is book nine in the Genetically Altered Humans series. This is Zealish and Angela’s story mainly but it also gives up dates on the other couples. There is suspense, drama, danger, zealots, and romance. I’m obviously late to find this series. I didn’t know there were so many books that proceeded this one. I found it hard to follow, but again I blame that on my ignorance of the series
