I really liked this story and the details that were put into the story. It was difficult to put this book down and it was fantastic.

I really enjoyed and liked the characters and was pulling for them until the last page. The description the UP of Michigan was beautiful.
Such a wonderful second chance romance! Shane and Avery don’t have an easy road to their HEA, and while their chemistry and love for each other are as strong as ever, they have to learn to trust each other again! This book was impossible to put down! I loved their small town, and the chemistry between Shane & Avery sucks you in! LOVED IT!
I kinda have a love/hate thing going on with this book. I love the rock star and small town element, I love Shane and Avery too, but parts of the story seemed too far fetched.
I don’t pretend to understand the music biz a whole lot, but I can’t see a record label dropping a lead singer from the band, that just isn’t done. Even with bands as big as The Freaking BEATLES the label couldn’t just say..ok, you don’t want to do this..you’re out. The band’s themselves make that decision..unless you are a group like Destiny’s Child or some other sort of prefabricated band. Most groups work almost like partnerships and have to be dissolved when they are breaking up, especially if they are huge groups like Distant Union was supposed to be.
I love second chance stories too..but again..why does one of the two people have to be pining over the other for years? Shane left 9 years prior and Avery never had another relationship? Since high school? Shane married and divorced? Why not another guy for Ave?
Now all that aside. I loved that both had a devotion to their families, even Shane when it came down to a not so great, but wealthy dad. Lord knows, the Knox family didn’t deserve Shane being a member. His dad was a jerk and even the twist at the end wouldn’t make me like him much more.
I did love how they came together and I liked that this was a sweet romance, even though the rock star element made me think there would be a lot more heat involved in their relationship than there actually was. I mean..rock star always makes me think of the whole “sex, drugs and rock n roll” adage.
I also like that Hunter is going to get his story. I’m a bit intrigued by that prospect, as Hunter is definitely the alpha male kinda guy.
This is the first book by this Author that I have read and it looks like this is her debut book. This is rock star Shane Knox and Avery Cooke’s story of a second chance. Shane’s manager was something else. I enjoyed reading this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Capturing the Heart of the Rockstar is a sweet story of a first love reunion. This is not your typical bad boy rockstar romance storyline, which is refreshing. The author has created interesting characters, detailed setting, and enough twists in the story to keep you reading.

Sweet, clean, second chance romance. If these are the stories you enjoy, then you’ll definitely enjoy this one. No spoilers here, just the advice to not let this one slip by.

I love rockstar romance, I enjoyed Shane and Avery second chance romance story, I have read similar books to this one, but it also has some sweet different things. It had the angst of having the one you loved back to town after a long time relationship that left without closure. Good weekend read.
Not every love story gets a second chance. Will Shane and Avery let the sins of the past ruin a chance to finally make things right? Shane is the boy that broke her heart. Avery is the girl that haunts his dreams. When a happy occasion brings these exes face to face, sparks fly. Capturing the Heart of a Rock Star is an unfinished love song. Summers takes hold of the emotions as she explores young love and adult heartache. Avery and Shane are the best and worst of what love is. Sweet, heartbreaking and everlasting.
