Andrew Prince wakes up before everyone else. He schedules the bar shifts, demands perfection from Long Beach’s lifeguards—most of all himself—and makes sure the family debts are paid. His unfaltering work ethic might leave him exhausted, but it comes with one advantage. It distracts him from the love he’s been harboring since childhood for the girl next door—who he cannot have.Jiya Dalal has … Dalal has dreams. To fly a plane, see the world below…and prove irresistible to her best friend, Andrew. But she needs to be a good daughter first, which is becoming an increasingly difficult task, since her parents expect a good marriage and the man she loves with all her heart refuses to pursue the blistering connection between them. Just when she’s beginning to believe Andrew truly doesn’t want her, a moonlight tryst on the beach exposes his true feelings. But an echo from the past kept them apart before…and it’s only growing louder with every stolen kiss…

Amazing trilogy that can be read as standalones! Do not miss out!
This story, it just kept pulling your nerves tight, then it relaxed them for a bit when the attraction between Andrew and Jiya couldn’t be contained, only to tug tighter right afterwards. And I loved every nerve wracking, angst overloaded, tragic past, and unrequited longing moment of it! When things finally came together, when the family that had been racked with pain for so long, finally became healthy and whole, it was a calm that settled over my soul, that their happiness could be shown, and they were free to be the wonderful people that they always were

If you have read Tessa’s Beach Kingdom books, you’ve been expecting this story since the very beginning. We’ve had teasings of Andrew and Jiya all over the other two books and finally we are getting what we’ve been waiting for: the conclusion of this series with a wonderful friends-to-lovers romance. And of course, queen Tessa Bailey did not fail us!
Sink or Swim is the final installment of Tessa’s Beach Kingdom series following the stories of the three Prince brothers. It’s now time for the oldest, Andrew Prince, and the woman he’s been loving in secret for years: Jiya Dalal. These two have been best friends since they were very young but they also have been pinning for each other in secret for years. Just when Jiya’s beginning to believe Andrew doesn’t want her, something magic happens between them and that is the start of their love story. Will they finally get their happily ever after?
“You’ve got the one remaining shred of my decency protecting you from a messy bang right now, Jiya, but understand that I’d love to be buried so deep I could feel that place where your screams build.”
Obviously, as always, I am extremely excited when it comes to Tessa Bailey realizing anything. She is one of my favorite romance authors and I loved her works for years. This series I also loved because it was focused on three brothers and I was so curious about Andrew and Jiya since the start. And Sink or Swim was definitely what I expected: entertaining, filled with sexual tension, sexy AF and emotional (with even a little of suspense/drama in it). I loved the family interactions and all the moments between Andrew and Jiya. Andrew is so protective and alpha and I loved him! Jiya is the perfect match for him and together they melted my Kindle with their chemistry and feels. I am so happy all the Prince brothers finally got their HEAs!
“We’ve belonged to each other since the beginning of time. I’ve loved him since the day he walked through the gap in our fence.”
Therefore, I am rating Sink or Swim with 4.5 STARS because it was a great conclusion to the Beach Kingdom series, especially with this story that we have been waiting for since we first saw this amazing couple. I loved Andrew and Jiya together, they just are so good for each other and their chemistry was explosive! Yes, Marcus and Jamie are still my favorites though! But again, I really enjoyed the whole series and these characters so if you are a fan of Tessa, you definitely should check these novels out!
The conclusion of the Prince Brothers trilogy. This one was a out the oldest Prince Brother Andrew and his tortured soul. Crazy in love with his next store neighbor and Best Friend Jiya. He has secrets that are far to keep from Jiya and his brothers. Loved how close this boys were. A great series.
Live to love
Sink or Swim was such a satisfying ending to the Beach Kingdom series! I loved it! I loved Jiya’s strength and heart, I loved Andrew’s loyalty and protectiveness. I loved the slow burn (even though I was cussing at them to hurry up!), watching their dreams come to fruition was the best thing ever!
4 stars. This was a good book! Sink or Swim is the third and final book in the Beach Kingdom series. This is Jiya and Andrew’s story. They are both madly in love with each other, but have no idea what to do about it. The two have been very close, best friends since they were kids. Both of them have been secretly in love with each other. Totally, swoonily, completely adoring each other. But neither think the other is interested as neither have ever made a move and they both think the opportunity to be together romantically has passed. But when Jiya’s very traditional Indian parents think it is time for her to be married, they begin arranging her candidates to possibly be engaged to. Andrew has a secret he is hiding from his past that he thinks makes him not worthy of being with her. But seeing her date in contemplation of marriage is making him crazy. Jiya doesn’t want to date others either when she loves Andrew so much. When a last chance opportunity strikes for them to explore their feelings together, neither of them are willing to let it go. Jiya and Andrew soon find they are meant to be together.
I loved Jiya and Andrew. The way they loved each was amazing. Especially Andrew. He lived to serve Jiya, to do anything he could to make her day better or make her happier. He simply worshipped her. They were a really great couple. Very romantic and sweet. Things were not easy for them, but they were devoted to each other.
Overall, this was a really good read. There were emotional moments, sweet and romantic ones, as well as some super sexy ones. Jiya and Andrew’s chemistry and connection is undeniable. I adored their friends to lovers romance. I am sad to see this series end, but look forward to whatever Ms. Bailey comes up with next!
I loved the unexpected background in which we learned what happened to Andrew. It was a cute childhood friends to lovers between Andrew and Jiya. Cute epilogue.
Sink or Swim is the angsty, friends to lovers end to the Beach Kingdom series that I so desperately wanted. I’ll caution that if you haven’t read the previous books in this series, you’re missing out on a whole lot of angst between this couple. Will they? Won’t they? For the love…why won’t they?! It’s all been alluded to before, and in this final book we finally get our answers. Andrew is the stand-up guy that takes care of everyone else first! If you’re into dirty talking alphas that will do anything for the woman they love, including break his own heart, then you’re gonna’ love Andrew. Jiya, the love of his life, is his perfect counterpoint. I have adored her devotion to the Prince brothers and loved that she was never afraid to draw the proverbial line in the sand. No games for this heroine. Her man was in OR out. No more games. The push and pull between this couple was SUBLIME!
An added bonus to this love story is the cameos featuring the Prince brothers and their partners. My favorite m/m couple made several appearances. I know I grinned like a maniac every time Marcus and Jamie were on the page. *bachelor party, cough cough* Those two will forever make my heart flutter!
So, if you’re one of those readers that waits till the end of a series to start it, here’s your invitation to dive into Beach Kingdom. The water’s HOT!
I admittedly have a love/hate relationship with friends-to-lovers’ romances. I love them because there’s a foundation to the hero and heroine’s relationship; they share a backstory and a solid connection before initiating or finally admitting to anything more. My disdain, maybe that’s too harsh of a word, but sometimes, that’s exactly how I feel, comes from the characters’ fear of taking that next step because the mixed signals and the hot and cold reception that they receive from one another causes more problems than it would to just be honest about becoming something more.
In the final book in Tessa Bailey’s Beach Kingdom series, readers are finally given Andrew and Jiya’s story, which means that it’s time for the only Prince brother to get his other half. But this Prince male may be the most stubborn, and while logically I understand why Andrew keeps his distance from Jiya, it’s not any less frustrating to know how much he loves her but fears he doesn’t deserve her from an event from his past.
I truly felt bad for Jiya; I know that Andrew wasn’t playing games with her and that he desperately wanted to be with her as more than best friends, but I almost didn’t want her to keep waiting for him to get his act together, to stop punishing himself and stop bearing a burden that shouldn’t be his alone. But what I also understand is that the heart wants what the heart wants and Jiya’s never been one to give up or stop fighting. What does complicate things for Jiya is the pressure from her mother to move on, to find a husband, and to settle down and her mother believes that Jiya will have none of those things with Andrew.
There’s a little bit of everything in Sink or Swim: there’s an exhaustive amount of sexual tension, quite a few steamy scenes, a bevy of emotional confrontations, some self-loathing, and a bit of suspense. And all of these plot points make for a good read and a satisfying conclusion to a great series.

4.5 stars!
*dreamy sigh* Sink or Swim is a sizzling friends to lovers romance that’s packed with longing, sexual tension, angst, and sweet heart-melting moments. I loved this book. I’ve wanted this story since book one in the series. It’s safe to say Tessa Bailey did not disappoint.
I love this couple. I felt Andrew and Jiya’s attraction for one another all the way to my Bones. I’ve never read a book where the hero is so completely devoted to heroines’ well being. Andrew lives to worship Jiya and it’s hot as hell. These two are so insanely in love with each other. When they weren’t together, the pining for one another created the most delicious and stomach tightening tension.
Sink or Swim was the perfect way to end this wonderful series that I loved so much. The Prince brothers have been through so much. I’m so thrilled they got their happily ever after.
A couple weeks ago a friend of mine asked me what I did that weekend and I replied with “I read an amazing book!” They know about the romance reading and the blogging, so they asked me “Why was it amazing?” I think I started my answer about 4 or 5 times. Not because I couldn’t come up with anything, but because I had a hard time coming up with the RIGHT words. This person doesn’t read romance and I just didn’t know how to properly express my feelings toward the book. I don’t remember what my final answer was but I know that it contained the phrases “friends to lovers”, “so much pining from afar that it actually pained my heart (but in the best way possible)”, “sexy as hell”, and “one of the best books I’ve read this year”. I wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t form full sentences and just said the above phrases.
The first two books in this series set this one up quite nicely. We know that Andrew has been loving Jiya from afar for YEARS, but hasn’t done a thing about it. The same goes for Jiya, but she has convinced herself that she has been friendzoned and will never recover from that. But then they both come to the realization that the future Jiya’s parents want for her will most likely mean that Andrew will no longer be part of her life the way he is now and that knocks some sense into both of them. This trope always has the “OMG what are we doing” moment and this is theirs.
Y’all the “moonlight tryst on the beach” mentioned in the synopsis. OH. MY. GOD. It went in a direction that I did not see coming and it was so freaking good. But I guess all those years of pining means that the sexy time are going to be knocked up a few notches.
I’m really going to miss the Prince family, especially Jamie and Marcus. They are still the absolute cutest and Marcus was the source of some laugh out loud moments that came at the right times. Then there is the epilogue that was *chefs kiss gif*. I laughed. I cried. I sighed happily. It was everything. And even though I would love for Tessa to just keep writing books about them for years to come, the way this ended was just perfect.
Finally I get to read Andrew’s story….and it was worth the wait. Bailey never fails to rev the ole engine with her dirty talking Alphas. Andrew was torturing himself because of his past, trying to stay away form Jiya for her own good. But these two were meant to be and the chemistry is explosive. I loved this whole series!
Andrew, my goodness, my heart was breaking for him in the prologue and Jiya the lively girl next door who held his heart since they were kids. This was a perfect ending to this series with Andrew and Jiya finally finding their way to each other. The ending was wrapped up beautifully and Marcus’s antics were classic. Such an amazing series!
