This is a great book ..I love this series ..it’s action packed ,,keeps you gripping your chair at each turn of the pages .. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series !
Asha is looking for her cousin Preeti and her best childhood friend, Chanda. Asha makes some new friends that help her on her quest. They encounter some very dangerous people that will kill for no reason. There is child trafficking by a dangerous Saudi. A heart pounding conclusion to this page turning thriller.
This is book three in the Red Heeled Rebels series and Ashe’s adventures continue to captive your heart and mind as she races to save her cousin and attempt to keep her friends safe along the way. The adventures and exploits that these characters will leave you amazed but the journey is not easy. There are lots of nail biting moments where their travels and encounters leave you simply floored. I cannot recommend this series highly enough, it is amazing. I could not put this book down, it was a bitter sweet moment when it was finished. Enjoy!
I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book that I received from the author.
Non-stop action!
Asha, Win, Katy, and Luc have arrived at Mumbai Airport to search for Asha’s cousin Preeti but Luc is detained at customs. The three girls are left to continue their search without him with only 72 hours before Katy and Win must leave the country.
During their search, Asha finds that her old home city is drastically changed along with the people she remembers. Chandra has disappeared, her mother is near death and the slavery business is thriving.
In this book of the Red Heeled Rebels series, Tikiri Herath walks the reader further through the underground world of slave trafficking and child prostitution. The intrigue and action are nonstop and kept me on the edge of my seat. Although I received a free copy, my review is voluntary. I finished it in one day!
Rollercoaster of action and adventure as Asha & company take on traffickers
4 and a bit stars
Thrilling and fast-paced, this story has a big message and a young, five foot tall heroine to deliver it. It’s action-packed, does not hold back on the violence, and kept me turning the pages right to the explosive climax. I would say it is geared toward a teen and young adult female readership; more mature readers might find the action a bit over the top but the message comes through loud and clear.
Human trafficking, female exploitation and corruption are the evils Asha and her troop of friends battle as they move around the globe. In their mission, they don’t hesitate to steal from the bad guys and reap their own form of violent payback. Exciting stuff. Yes, the heroes are flawed but, considering the odds they face and the evil they are up against, their own actions are relatively mild in comparison.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
