I love the unexpected! This story brought a lot of joy to my weekend with this wonderfully unexpected book! I hope this delightful series continues for a long time!
Loved this book. Mabel and Harper were perfect together. Thank you for a wonderful book.
This is Book #23 in The Proxy Brides series and is the story of Mabel Brown and Harper Jones. As the story unfolds, you find yourself falling in love with the characters. Mabel’s father is determined to find husbands for his three daughters before he dies, but he has a hard time finding one for Mabel as she is his favorite daughter. Harper is chosen as he had saved Mr Brown’s life during a blizzard and he felt like he owed Harper something because of it. The couple are married by proxy but as the story progresses they find their HEA. I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend it.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading A Bride for Harper. The author wrote a storyline that completely captured my attention and held my interest. The scenery and characters are designed ideally for this book. A Bride for Harper by Author P. Creeden is The Proxy Brides #23 book. I highly recommend reading this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This review is one hundred percent my opinion.
I enjoyed this book. What a different time, can you imagine a man feeling he owes the man who saved his life thinking “oh, my daughter would be a good payment”. It is also hard to imagine a daughter agreeing to such an arrangement. I loved that Mabel’s father was trying to be sure his daughters would be taken care of after he passed away. Mabel and Hunter both took their proxy marriage seriously and tried to honor Mabel’s father. I’m glad that he went for character and not just financial consideration.
Mabel’s father is trapped in a blizzard and rescued by Harper. As father of three daughters he needs good husbands for them. To thank Harper for saving his life he thinks one of his daughters will be a good wife. But Harper’s life isn’t easy, can he accept that offer? Can he make his proxy wife happy?
This was a fun read with very lovable characters specially Harper.
Great series.
