It started when my boyfriend was caught in public with a girls lips on his you know what.People think my life is easy – they couldn’t be more wrong.A girl can never be too thin, too rich, or too famous. From experience I know that’s crap. Well, maybe not the thin part. Men don’t see me – they see my name and my bank balance.Dating is near impossible with the paparazzi following my everywhere. Any … paparazzi following my everywhere. Any sane man would run from that.
When a competitor steals my company’s entire fall line, down to names and packaging, I daydream of tropical islands far away from the mess of my life. He brings me back.
There was one man who saw the real me. A man who wasn’t swayed by the money and was strong enough to deal with the craziness that surrounded me. But we’d been friends to long to move beyond that.
But can I control myself? I have feelings for him but our timing has always been off.

This is the perfect final book for a perfect series! I really enjoyed Mason and Cece’s story. It is a beautiful one and full of surprises. This one is exciting, steamy, fun and heartwarming.
I was so looking forward to Cece & Mason’s story and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this series!
Definitely read the previous books in this series before this one! While I definitely enjoyed the book, especially the suspense aspect in it, reading the books previously written for this series will absolutely have it make much more sense. After Cece’s relationship ends in a very public way, and Mason’s relationship ends in secrecy, it gives this pair the perfect opening to give a relationship between them a shot. When Mason is rushed to the hospital and it is found out that the reasoning is due to poisoning, the group of friends are determined to find out who exactly is behind all the problems they have encountered throughout the previous books. Throughout the course of them finding the culprit, the relationship between Cece and Mason continue to grow and flourish at a quick rate, but because of their previous friendship, it seems like a natural progression for how well they know each other. In the end, it’s interesting to see who is responsible for all the trouble and the relation to the group as well as the reasoning on why they did what they did. The suspense in this storyline was definitely the best part of the book in addition to the friends-to-lovers romance between Cece and Mason.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I received a review copy before release for an honest review.
This is the last book in the series and it features Mason and Cece. I do want to mention this is a LONG series but I have only read the last book before this one and so it can stand alone. You will definitely feel lost at times but you can read it without reading the other stories.
Mason and Cece have been good friends for years but never even kissed. They have dated, had sex with and even lived with other people. In this story Mason ends up in a life and death scenario and Cece is there for him.
They are also both single at the same time and as they become roommates as well as good friends they decide to explore a relationship.
Meanwhile they both own their own companies and some bad stuff happens to their businesses and so the FBI and investigations and finding out who is after them is also a big part of the story. This might be where you get lost a little if you have not read every book in the story but I was able to follow along as things are explained well in this story.
Who the bad guys are I kinda guessed. Seemed pretty obvious to me but there were some red herrings thrown in so you don’t find out the truth until the last moment. I did enjoy this book a lot and I loved the honest relationship that Cece and Mason had.
I will definitely be reading more from this author as I did enjoy her romance and stories.
4*+ ARC Review – Sorry to see the series end
I am a huge fan of this author and this series. The ARCs have been provided by Booksprout through the author’s ARC group of which I am a part of. My only problem with this book was that it was the last in the series and I will miss them! From the first book, Forbidden Love, to this one, I have enjoyed getting to know this group of friends and colleagues at SHN as they navigate both their love lives and the mystery of the mole that is trying to take down their firm. The plot about the mole and corporate espionage is carried on throughout the series.
Finally!! This is CeeCee’s story and I have been waiting for it for a while. It was at times obvious that she would end up with Mason, but I appreciated the clever way they came together. They have been attracted to each other for years, but due to circumstances and other relationships, they kept missing each other. They have great chemistry and even a good friendship, plus they are hot as a couple. As they are finally coming together and trying to keep it under wraps, many other parts of both their lives are in upheaval. These other incidents also look to be part of the corporate espionage that has been targeting SHN and the people around this firm. Overall, it was good that the mole was finally uncovered, and I liked how that was put together and resolved. Sorry to see the series end!
Book nine in the Billionaire Venture Capitalist series, this is the first book by this Author that I have read and I want to read the complete series. This is Caroline Michelle Arnault, and Mason John Sullivan’s story which is well written with a very good storyline. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This prolific author never ceases to amaze me with her well crafted compelling page turners….
I was fascinated & captivated with these larger than life characters who appeared flawlessly rich & famous but they were talented & caring & kind kings & queens of their respective industries. I guess there will always be villainous people that want to take them down & the press hounds forever in their faces trying to get some dirt. Hard to imagine a life that allows you no privacy. This was another flawless read from this beyond talented author. Tense, suspenseful & toe curling hot! I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review
I started this not knowing that the previous books need be read first. However, it’s still intriguing and had me hooked. I will be picking up the books prior to get the full story though. I love friends -to-lovers romances and this did not disappoint. There is so much going on that it adds to Mason and Cece’s story.

If I could, I would give it 4 1/2 stars. Fascination addresses the long delayed romance between CeCe and Mason as well as revealing the mole for his investment business and the attacker on her cosmetics company. I’d been waiting for this story for quite some time and was not disappointed. The story grips you from the start, so make sure you start it in the morning if you plan to sleep that night. Not only did we see into Mason’s motivation for taking up with Annabelle, we saw how long his passion for CeCe had been blocked by one careless statement and his fears. Ainsley relentlessly builds the tension over the mole and attacks on CeCe’s business with a deft hand, keeping the perpetrators hidden but not totally surprising once revealed. The story held together quite well with the motivations and obstacles feeling very realistic. The steamy passion and love between CeCe and Mason was totally satisfying after such a long delay. They were truly meant for each other. Ainsley is a very good writer for the genre, with only a one or two grammatical mistakes. If you loved the previous books in the series, you will be totally happy with the conclusion.

The importance of friendship and love are vividly told through interactions and phone calls. Cee Cee and Mason have been friends forever but their friendship grows into a very meaningful and intimate relationship. Each supporting The other one during this ordeal. Every spark they feel are well described.
The workings of the corporate world are given good descriptions and the readers learn how important trust is in this world when good co-workers aren’t as loyal as you thought. Every emotion is simply stated and easy to understand.
The most timely aspect of the story is the consequences of the tabloids and social media is on business and private life. Cee Cee is famous and her business trials and relationships are top news items. Cee Cee’s business is accused of animal testing on social media that causes a big downfall for her business
Relationships change business conditions change and lies over truth can be hauting. But, Facination blends it all together and gives the reader a simple fun read.

I LOVE, LOVE Cece & Mason!!
Cece and Mason have been friends for awhile. They each have watched the other date, flirt and go through breakups but now someone is out to get them and neither of them will allow that to happen.
Ainsley St Claire has wrapped this series up perfectly. All of our questions have been answered. She gave us all the possible emotions from, love to hate. I can’t wait for more from Ainsley in the future.
CeCe and Mason have me wishing that I’d discovered this series sooner. Fascination feels like Friends. With honest humor and deep, emotional ties, St. Claire had me falling hard and deeply for these captivating characters.
This is an awesome conclusion to an exciting series. Mason and CeCe finally get their chance after they break up with their ex’s. They are also hounded by someone who is out to ruin them. Mason is poisoned and is recovering. Could it be that the mole is closer than anyone suspected and will they be able to capture the culprit before they destroy SHN? This closely knitted group of friends have a lot on their plates and it will take all of them to take down the mole.

A Novel and a Series That Are Fascinating
Fascination, Book 9 in Ainsley St. Clair’s Venture Capitalist series is a delight, bringing her series to an exciting and desired ending with the matching of Caroline (CeCe) Arnault and Mason Sullivan! The couple finally acknowledges that they are not just longtime friends and central members of a band of friends, but that they are in love when they support each other through their lowest moments—Mason has been poisoned, possibly by his former girlfriend, Annabelle who has disappeared, and CeCe has been humiliated by her royal boyfriend’s public sexual encounter. Ms. St. Clair is a consummate writer and does not disappoint her readers with a too easily achieved happily-ever-after. The challenges faced over the last couple of years with the of venture capitalist company, SHN, founded by college friends Mason, Cameron and Dillion continues and spreads. Now, still seeking to learn who is behind hackers who have caused havoc in SHN’s efforts to launch new companies seems to have spread to Caroline Arnault’s family owned cosmetic company just as they are about to launch the new seasonal line of cosmetics when a Chinese competitor becomes the beneficiary of all of the details of the upcoming launch. With Mason and CeCe finally united as an acknowledged couple who can find strength and comfort in their love for each other, and with the support of a band of friends and family, the reader can take comfort that the group can triumph!
I joined this reading journey with the last 2 novels, but I am hooked. Ms. St. Clair is a crafty and gifted writer who engages her readers with strong characters and carefully woven plots. This particular series stands strong with individual installments and an interlocking story arc. I am looking forward to working my way from the beginning and meeting all the characters from the start!

This is a masterful close to the saga of the mole that’s been targeting SHN – but before there’s a wrap, Adam and Eve target CeCe and her company. Is it because of her association with SHN? The book opens with Mason in a coma and Annabelle missing, which is as good a spot as any to start the speculation. Ultimately, this is more than just Mason and Cece’s story; it’s a tribute to the close friendships in the group and the strength and support those offer in bad times. Of course, some truly steamy scenes are an important part of the mix, as is Dillion and Emerson’s baby. Ainsley St. Claire’s characters become the reader’s friends too, and the devastating betrayal is hard to read. I would have given this more than five stars if I had been able to. It brought me joy.
