Please read the warning inside the book. This bundle includes the second part of the Wanderlust story.I knew all the regulars. I knew their drinks. Their complaints. I knew everything that went on in this little town. But they didn’t know me. And I didn’t know him. Momma always told me to be kind to others, so I didn’t even think twice when I invited him into my house, into my life, my heart. I … invited him into my house, into my life, my heart.
I was happy being alone, until I wasn’t.
Little did I know that once you get a taste of happiness, nothing will ever taste the same. Especially when it is taken away.
***WANDERLUST is a slow burn M/M romance, featuring hurt/comfort, a lot of adult content, and friends-to-lovers elements

Yes!! Finally the story of Chase and Juste continues! I was so disappointed when Chase left for new horizons in the first part of the story. There was so obviously something there! But I guess he just wasn’t ready yet to reach out for happiness. The timing was off… until it wasn’t anymore!
Quin & Perin are the absolute best at mixing delicious smutty heat with those softer, more heartfelt emotions, which is exactly what they did with these two guys. Part 1 of Wanderlust starts out as a mellow, though steamy read where bartender Juste strikes up a very unlikely friendship with Chase, a stranger passing by Juste’s hometown. Juste is lonely, going through the motions and hiding in plain sight, afraid to come out of the closet. He finds a connection with Chase that lights up his life and heart, but sadly it doesn’t last and Chase, haunted by demons of his own, ends up leaving.
In this eagerly awaited bundle, at last, we get to see these two men come together, acting on the scary, big feelings that have taken ahold of their hearts. Juste doesn’t make it easy for Chase, rightly so I feel. Juste understandably harbors some resentment and is hesitant to risk his heart, seeing no way forward for them as a couple. But he’s in luck! Chase is determined and very much in love. I really enjoyed seeing things work out for them this time around.
Loved the epilogue and the sneak peek we got at another intriguing couple!
A steamy story of two men finding each other in a big wide world. Some hurt/comfort elements (which I love) and some simple pleasures that make life glorious.
4-1/2 Stars!!! Chase is just passing through when he stops at the bar that Juste owns and works at. One thing leads to another and Chase and Juste ends up finding something in each other that they didn’t realize they were missing, if only for a short time.
Six years later, Chase finds himself returning home, and by home I mean Juste. Time has passed and things have changed, for both Chase and Juste after so many years.
While I wouldn’t say the connection between Chase and Juste is instantaneous at first, it’s more of a slow burn that bursts into flames. That intensity is still there six years later. Hot and steamy, which Quin & Perin are well known for. So good! I connected to Chase and Juste much better six years later than I did when they first came together. Why I haven’t a clue, and I’ve been driving myself nuts trying to figure that one out. If you enjoy a good hurt/comfort with a touch of second-chance, look no further. This one’s for you! I also want to point out that this is a role play story, so pay attention to the authors’ notes at the beginning before diving in.
This book contains two parts.
Yesterday and six years later.
I read the first part that ended abruptly and was kinda pissed at the authors.LOL.
Then they’re listened to me (and everyone else) to continue the journey of Chase and Juste.
Six years later, Chase came back to the small town where Juste live but not really living. Juste lost something, he missed the feeling when he’s with Chase.
But now Chase came back, what he wants from Juste? Just a fling like before, or more?
Wanderlust is more than an erotic story the authors claimed it. There’s more feeling, rejection, frustration, love, hate and passion.
Chase need to confince Juste that he wanted a future with him.
I enjoyed Wanderlust more than I expected. And finished it in one sitting. Can’t get enough of these duo and their stories!
Recommended!
This book touched my heart. There was so much damn sweetness, I swear I have a toothache from it. The characters were so well written, so much fun, and each so perfectly imperfect in their own way.
This fantastic, fascinating, grab-you-by-the-feels, powerful, poignant, heartbreaking yet hopeful, emotionally charged, intense, slow burning, and totally awesome hurt/comfort, second chance, friends-to-lovers tale is proof positive that Quin Perin can handle any trope/plot/storyline with talent and style. It had me hooked from the very first page, and I would DEFINITELY recommend one clicking this marvelous gem ASAP!!!
Chase wandered the country working odd jobs and avoiding settling down.
Juste lived in the same town he was born in, even lived in his childhood home left to him upon his parents death.
Two people living very different lives, collide when Chase stumbles into Juste’s country bar. A spark of interest starts a slow burning romance that continues for 1 long week and then resumes 6 years later.
Juste doesn’t trust that Chase will stay with him:
I smiled, my hand going from his chin to the back of his neck. Now it was time. Now I would
do it. My nerves went haywire as I ghosted my parted lips over his; I felt him tense up,
fingers stiff, ready to shove me off. “I’m not going anywhere,” I breathed against his lips.
Juste found no confidence in Chase’s words:
Pancakes didn’t necessarily make up for blue balls, but they were a start.
Chase wasn’t about to give up. He would prove to Juste that they were good together:
“Gonna come for me, cowboy?” he murmured, lips against my hair. “Hm? Gonna give it all to
me? Lemme milk you, baby. I’ll make you feel so good.”
And the emotional connection caught on fire and was consumed in a blaze:
I heaved a sigh and reached over to pull his lips against mine. A slow, lingering kiss. No
tongue. I cupped the back of his head when Juste’s hand came up to my forearm and he
suddenly parted his lips. Well…I wasn’t gonna pass up the offer. The kiss grew deeper and
more fervent by the second. Sort of hungry and urgent once again. Juste moaned against my
lips, his scent so strong and familiar, making my brain cells shut off one by one. I couldn’t
fight the urge to climb on top of him, to let him feel my weight, bracket him in between my
forearms and just rut my hips against his-
A stranger walks into a bar…and two lives change. Juste, the bar owner, offers Chase, a lone man out on his own, a hot meal and a place to stay. Chase gratefully accepts and does chores & jobs at the house to earn his keep. Their attraction to each other is real, though they don’t know how the other feels/thinks. Once they’re on the same page though, watch out. The chemistry is through the roof. It almost feels like they complete each other in a way, but Chase isn’t ready for that yet. After an amazing an emotional night, he decides its time to move on. Only time will tell how their story ends…
Wanderlust #2
6 years later, Chase is back. He got himself together (and then some), and came back to the only man who gave him the true feels. Though Juste welcomes him back, he’s a bit different. More solitary, walls up, not ready to just jump back where they left off. Chase has his work cut out for him, but he’s not giving up. He knows what & who he wants, and Juste better be prepared. This truly was a wonderful love story
Juste & Chase are back, hotter and better! The cowboy and the stud will melt your kindle with their hot and passionate encounters…
We follow the story from the beginning, that ordinary moment when Chase enters Juste’s bar, seeking a place to stay after some time wandering around, and how things change from there. They develop a connection that starts as a friendship and turns into something more exciting; their bond grows, the spark is there, and eventually they give in to the desire and start a friends with benefits kind of thing. But Chase is running from something, trying to discover who he really is, and even though he wants to stay, he knows he can’t, at least not right now. And Juste understands that… They go separate ways, each following their paths and… six years later, things are about to change. They are reunited, the spark still there, but they’ll have to see if will be enough to make up for all that time apart. Both men had their reasons, Chase specially, and is up to him to prove he can be the man Juste needs…
To me Wanderlust is one of those books that is perfect for a quiet afternoon reading; this had the right amount of angst and hurt/comfort – nothing exaggerated or over the top – and I liked the way the authors handled the insecurities and feelings of the couple during both parts of the book. It amazes me how well this story flows. I read in a sitting, couldn’t drop it! And like all the other books: the hot sexy times are insanely good! Well written, just the way I love it!
Thank heaven they listened to our pleas to give Chase & Juste the closure they deserve!!! I gotta say, that HFN at the end of #1 left me wanting sooo much more of these boys, and when Quin&Perin announced the continuation of the story I was beyond excited! It’s no secret this duo is one of my favorite MM writers, and their ability to turn even the sweetest of tropes into a steamy and hot story is definitely something out of this world!
Slow burn erotica? Yes Please! I’ve got no idea if authors Quin and Perin invented it, but they’ve certainly perfected it.
Bundled into one complete edition, Wanderlust starts off with a bang. The first half of the story focuses on the incredible connection building between Juste and Chase. Quin and Perin truly capture their scorching chemistry, not to mention the thoroughly delicious sex these authors write so well.
Over their week together both men gradually come to realize how special their connection is. Sadly, neither are in a place where they can pursue a relationship. Juste lives in a community where a same-sex couple won’t be tolerated, and Chase has powerful personal issues he needs time to work through.
Six years later Chase returns, full of self confidence and ready to embrace a future with his ideal lover. However, the years have changed Juste as well. While once completely engaged, this bright and vivid man has withdrawn, resigning himself to a lonely life.
The second half of Wanderlust explores how the men react as Chase gently inserts himself back into Juste’s life. It’s incredibly moving to watch the transformation Juste makes as he comes to realize that love and happiness are possible in his future.
Beautifully written, Quin and Perin cleverly alternate between both men’s points-of-view. Continually checking in with each of them provides interesting insight, and adds an additional layer of intimacy as we watch them processes events as they happen.
A blend of tender romance and stunningly erotic sex, Wanderlust is a unique and powerful story which I highly recommend!
I really enjoyed this not so kinky book by Quin Perin. Friends to lovers and second chances. A great read with gruff loveable characters.
Part one:
This was more than a little hot novella it was about comfort and mending whatnot didn’t know was broken.
Juste has been on his own way too long in a small town with not a lot of opportunity he just bids his time until his next trip to the city.
That is until chase wonders into his bar looking tired and hungry. Maybe even a little broken .
The chemistry between them is a force to be reckoned with.
I loved how this story progressed and I was so happy with the way it ended. I’m greedy though and would love more of these guys x
Part 2:
I loved Juste and Chase so when I heard they were getting another story I was delighted.
This is set six years from where the first one ended and it’s like Noah’s changed but yet everything has. Juste has been on his own for the best part of six years no one ever measuring up to Chase.
Chase has sown his wild oats but has become the man that’s now worthy of Juste. He just need to make him realize that he didn’t leave because he wanted to he left to make him the man he needed to be for Juste.
This was one of the least steamy ones I’ve read by these guys but that didn’t matter a bit. This was more love story and I loved it from start to finish.
This is both parts one and two, and for those not satisfied with the way things left off in part one you’ll definitely want to read this one. Quin & Perin bring the heat and the emotion to a story of two strangers turned lovers. Wonderful and engaging.
Juste is a lonesome man and owner of a pub. Chase, traveling, comes in for a drink. Somehow he ends up in Juste’s house and makes himself useful, in exchange for food and a place to sleep.
The temperature increases with the minute, the sexual tension is heavy. When they collapse together it’s everything they both wanted. Fun for the time being. Exploring every possible position and fantasy and then move on. And so it went.
Omg, I almost saw the sun shining on the pink mushrooms head, that’s how vividly it’s al written. The open-mouthed kisses and lapping tongues, gosh I was drooling. When they finished it was like I had run a marathon, I was exhausted and satisfied.
Soooo, there was the second part…
It wouldn’t be a QP read if I didn’t get overwhelmed by all the emotions. My heart ghawd, it cramped at times. I love it that they can bring me to my knees not only because of the dripping heat but also of all the deep emotions.
After all these years Juste isn’t the same anymore. There is a lot of sadness and distrust.
Chase desperately tries to dig up the feisty, passionate man he used to know.
Watching them from the sideline, see the hurt, was painful.
Chase has to convince Juste of his feelings and why it had to go how it did.
The alternating views were awesome done. We get to know how both, hungry, craving, men feel and what they want. The unspoken emotions, the other would never know about, the fear, the hope, the trust, all palpable.
The strength of this writer couple is the vividly way of illustrating a story, vigorous, with the right weight and words at the right time, fast-paced and sharp. Views from various angles, it’s almost as if we are a drone, circling around the men, zooming in and out, different perspectives. It’s all excellent done. I’ve read all their work and there is only one word to describe them ‘Unique’ Or four words if you want ‘One of a kind’
