A baker who sees the dead. One too many suitors. And a killer. Living in Honey Hollow can be murder. A laugh out loud standalone cozy mystery by New York Times Bestseller Addison Moore All books in the series can be read individually but are best enjoyed in order. My name is Lottie Lemon, and I see dead people. Okay, so I rarely see dead people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly … people, mostly I see furry creatures of the dearly departed variety, aka dead pets, who have come back from the other side to warn me of their previous owner’s impending doom.
Love is in the air and all of Honey Hollow is staring down the barrel of Valentine’s Day. By some stroke of luck I’m taking part in Vermont’s Best Baker competition, and believe me when I say there’s more drama than there are ingredients in the room. But when one baker accuses another of ripping off her sugar cookies things take a turn for the deadly. Add a stalker, an ornery snake, a fluffy white kitten who has an eye for everything that moves—and you have the perfect recipe for murder.
Lottie Lemon has a brand new bakery to tend to, a budding romance with perhaps one too many suitors, and she has the supernatural ability to see dead pets—which are always harbingers for ominous things to come. Throw in the occasional ghost of the human variety, a string of murders, and her insatiable thirst for justice, and you’ll have more chaos than you know what to do with.

Lottie Lottie Lottie what have you done?
Lottie is a character for sure! She sees dead people, or animals rather. And she has not one but two suitors… her husband Everett and her boyfriend Noah. She’s married to Everett in name only as a means to help him secure his inheritance. She’s taking time to feel things out with Noah before making her decision on which she will choose when she finds herself in the middle of a double homicide. Add in a few dead pets who come to help solve the crime and two randy mothers and you’ve got the makings of one heck of a read!
After solving the double murder Lottie finds herself in a rather sticky position…

Lottie Lemon returns in Sugar Cookie Slaughter, book 18 in the Murder in the Mix series. Lottie’s supernatural ability to see the ghosts of beloved pets used to only spell out minor mishaps for their owners. Now, slips, trips, stumbles, and falls have been traded in for murder. For just over a year Lottie has had the unfortunate talent of stumbling upon fresh murder scenes. With a little help from the deceased’s spectral pet, Lottie utilizes her amateur sleuth skills to figure out ‘who done it’ and find justice for the victim. With Valentine’s Day approaching, as well as a bake-off toting the coveted title of Vermont’s Best Baker, Lottie has to balance a murder investigation, a baking competition, and a love triangle she can’t seem to break. Love triangle aside, Noah & Everett can agree on one thing, Lottie’s safety is priority number one. True to Lottie’s nature, she won’t stand by and let a killer get away without justice. But has she pushed her luck too far? If the curse placed upon Lottie is real, it is only a matter of time until life as she knows & loves it blows up and is left in ashes.
I can’t wait to see what plays out for Lottie in the upcoming books in the series!

One of a many great reads by Addison Moore. I could not out it down. She keeps you guessing on who the culprit is.
Awesome read and series, well written with a great plot and characters. I was absorbed from beginning to end. I love getting to visit Honey Hollow and all the fantastic people who live there. I couldnt put it down its a page turner! This book has everything mystery, romance, humor, suspense, murder, and twists and turns. Lottie Lemon has her hands full once again with baking in the bake off, her love triangle with Noah and Everett, stumbling on to two dead bodies and trying to solve two murders with the help of two animal spirits. I cant wait to read the next book in the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Booksprout.
This book was amazing in itself but the ending put it over the top!!!!! I am always anxious to get my hands on the next book but the suspense may just be too great this time! This series just gets better and better!
OML.. I am not sure how much more I can take of this series.. They are just so awesome and keep me hanging at the end of each book, making me want the next book. It is so hard to sit and wait to find out what will happen with Lottie, Noah and Everett and the gang. They are all like part of the family and I just sit with bated breath waiting for the next book.
Of course in this book Lottie and the gang have fun with the Valentine holiday and a bake-off and of course another dead body to deal with……
If you want to know more then please don’t wait and buy the book now it is so worth it. You can read this book as a stand-alone, but why would you want to??? Reading the entire series is the best idea you could ever have. Just saying.

I just cannot seem to get enough of this series! Lottie is just wonderful and her adventures in murder are such a great way to spend an evening. In this story, Lottie is baking some cookies for a competition, when murder is in the mix and she must put her detective skills to work. I LOVED her furry sidekicks in this book, they added so much enjoyment to the story that I hope they stay around for a while. I would also really like Lottie to pick a man already, I have my choice but I want her to make hers… I’m ready wither she is or not, LOL. The author really knows how to keep a reader guessing and I never seem to get the “who done it” right and that is another reason to love this series. With action and mystery this is another hit in the Murder in the Mix series. I received an ARC via Booksprout and am leaving an honest review.
I am so addicted to this series. Whenever I finish one book I immediately have to get my hands on the next. I just can’t get enough of the Honey Hollow gang, Lottie, Noah and everyone. I am sooooo looking forward to seeing what comes next in CHRISTMAS FUDGE FATALITY (which will be a story in the Six Merry Little Murders anthology), Devil’s Food Cake Doom and Snickerdoodle Secrets. Thank you to the author, Addison Moore, for writing such an incredible series.
When it comes to Lottie Lemon nothing is simple, you know in a husband, boyfriend, dead bodies, and ghosts kinda way. When there is a double homicide happens and she earns a sex kitten and an ornery snake for sidekicks, Lottie sets off to catch a killer. I found myself laughing out loud, gasping, saying oh no you didn’t, and unable to put it down. Addison has built this world that I just can’t get enough of no matter how the books ends. This is a stand alone but I highly highly suggest starting a book one so you grow to understand each character and their relationships better.
This is another great entry in the Murder in the Mix series. Lottie is still torn between her two loves, but she’s trying to make things work, and murder and hijinx still ensue. Addison Moore always brings a fresh idea and angle to each installment, so they continue to be entertaining after all this time. But, oof, that ending!
Each book contains a stand-alone mystery, but they are part of an on-going romantic saga. The last chapter of each book springboards the start of the next.
Lottie Lemon is at it again with a double homicide to solve this time! With a little help from a sexed up kitten and a long and loyal snake, she solves the case just like always. There is still one case that remains a mystery though. Someone is out to get Lottie herself. It may just be the curse two blonde bimbos had cast upon her or it could be another real person out for murder. Unfortunately we have to wait until the next book to find out. I can not wait!
Addison does it again! What a great addition to the series! The characters feel so real, you feel like you are actually participating in the story.

Sugar Cookie Slaughteris the eighteenth book in the Murder in the Mix Mystery series. This series builds on each other so I would suggest reading them in order to get the most out of it, but you could read them as stand alone if you wanted.
Lemon has a gift of seeing dead animal of those who will experience back luck soon, but lately deadly luck.
Love is in the air, it is once again February and valentines is just around the corner. Also it is almost time for the bake-off. But before the bake-off they were having a gathering with all the bakers and each baker bringing a sampling of their goodies. But before the night is over the competition is two bakers down, when Lottie stumbles across two bodies. Now in her investigation she learns a lot about all of her competitors.
I don’t know what I enjoy more the murder mystery or the love triangle that Lottie found her self in. But one thing is for sure every time I get a new book I can’t wait to jump right in and learn more to the story.
Cookies, and curses, and murders, oh my! Lottie Lemon has done it again! Everyone’s favorite baker has stumbled upon another murder scene. Will the two men in her life be able to keep her safe, or do Noah and Everett need a little help from the ghosts that seem to appear more frequently to Lottie? This new addition to the “Murder In The Mix” series will leave you on the edge of your seat! Honey Hollow has another murderer in town, one that wants to silence Lottie forever! Read this great new release by Addison Moore then keep on reading the next, and the next, and the next…..
Addison just keeps on hitting it out of the park with Murder in the Mix!!
Lottie Lemon is back, and she is most definitely in action! Vermont’s Best Baker iis rally happening. But with the competition comes a double homicide and a couple of ornery/hornery ghosts, bringing Lottie more trouble, as do Noah and Everett, witchy little wretches, and a twist of suspense nobody will see coming.
DEFINITELY a MUST READ!!
Another great addition to a killer series. Lottie Lemon is a sweet and lovable character with two sexy love interests Noah and Everett. (I’m team Everett) The best baker in Honey Hollow, and with the help of a few ghostly pets (and sometimes human) thanks to her supersentual powers, is quite the sleuth. Solving murder after murder. This time the baker herself could be the next victim.
Fantastic read, shocking ending! Left me screaming for the next book.
Lottie Lemon is at it again. While at the Vermont Best Baker pre-competition event, there’s a murder. Lottie is involved in the investigation. Helping her are the ghostly pets of the recently departed, Taffy and Princess. The murder victims had many enemies so there are lots of suspects. And, what is the motive? Lottie needs to figure that out first before she can zero in on the murderer. Complicating matters are the two men in her life that she loves, Everett and Noah. Their ex-girlfriends are determined to win them back and Lottie is jealous. Noah’s long dead father, who had faked his death,
showed up recently. He causes lots of aggravation for Lottie, Noah, and Everett too. I loved this book’s storyline. It left me wanting the next book in the series right now!! I am a big fan of this series and the author, Addison Moore. If you like cozy mysteries, I recommend that you start with the first book, Cutie Pies and Deadly Lies, and read your way through the rest of the series. You will feel like you are part of Honey Hollow and know all its residents, Lottie’s family, and friends. You’ll know their histories, their personalities, and their quirks. I hope you’ll enjoy all the books as much as I did.

Such a great story. It goes well with the series. Each book keeps getting better and better
