The first time I saw Quinn Maxwell in my family’s diner, I was…Absolutely smitten. He was like a tall, dark, handsome hero in one of the many books I devour, and just looking at him got me super wiggly and hot.And so, so ready for something I’ve never felt before.Sure, Quinn’s got a bad-boy reputation here in this small town.Everyone in Cherry Valley knows that he goes through women as fast as … knows that he goes through women as fast as he erects buildings in his contracting business.
And I, Gwen Milton, seem to be next on his flirty to-do list.
But, thanks to my dark past, I’m not easy to win over…
That doesn’t seem to faze sexy Quinn, though. He’s Prince Charming me like you wouldn’t believe, heating me up and breaking me down.
He’s giving me the full hero treatment, and I’m falling fast and hard.
But sometimes heroes come with secrets, and as I get closer to discovering what Quinn has been hiding, it might be too late to save myself…
And my aching heart.

Can he be her Hero and her forever
Quinn is the ultimate bad boy – tall, dark, handsome and really good with his tools. Plus he has a bad boy reputation with women. But he has found a woman who is not so easily charmed by his devilish smile but who has captured him non the less, Gwen. Gwen, her twin sister Gracie and their mother Audie own and run the Milton Diner in the lovely town of Cherry Valley. There was a little incident in the diner’s kitchen and they cannot find anyone to come and fix it. However, Quinn is a contractor and is working at the local vineyard so Gracie suggests calling him. What is a man to do when the woman you have a huge crush on calls asking your help??? Well you step, or is that jump, right up and become her HERO!!! But things are not so quick for Gwen to fall for the hero. Quinn is going to have to pursue Gwen until the end to finally get his lady. In the mean time all the other local characters of Cherry Valley are still going along with their hilarious lives in sorts of quirky and funny ways.
Hot For A Hero is another fabulous story in the Cherry Valley series by Cady Gilmore. Each story is funny, poignant, romantic, with great writing and fabulous characters. Cady has crafted a town that is so quirky and interesting that you just want to visit it and meet everyone.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I really enjoyed this book. Although it took awhile to warm up to Gwen. She came off as a witch before she let her guard down to let Quinn in. I’m loved Quinn. He was such a sweetheart heart trying to better himself after his youthful mistakes.
Great addition to the Cherry Valley series. Love the chemistry between Gwen and Quinn, these two characters both have so much in their pasts, they don’t realize when they find the real thing. It’s fun to read and love the first date outcome, it has a realistic twist the laughs that keep you wanting to read more about them. Emotional towards the end but well worth the final outcome for these two.

Cat and mouse game
I loved this story by the game of inverted seduction that is forced to choose the hero to get to have a date with the other main character. Situations and dialogues sometimes become fun, then very hot.
Gwen supports her mother in their diner with her twin sister. The latter is a little frivolous when Gwen is fully business. Every day, Quinn comes to eat and observes Gwen, attracted by her distance and her professional side, a little cold. Not being able to have a date, he is ready to bow down when an opportunity arises. He discovered a completely different Gwen, much more hot.
However, between Gwen’s family restaurant that uses plenty of her time and Quinn’s heavy past, it’s hard for both of them to trust each other or take the time to trust each other.
