It takes a lot to impress a Dalton girl. And Gracie Dalton is not impressed at all with the fact she’s got to prove her ability as a cowpoke on one of the best ranches in Texas this summer. After all, she’s got the chops from years of working with her brothers and cousins on their well-known ranch. Now she’s pitted against a cocky man with a rodeo belt buckle for each day of the week—not that … week—not that she’s noticin’.
Hands down, Noble Watkins’s going to win a permanent position on the Blackburn Ranch. No way will he be bested by a woman, let alone one with too much sway in her hips and tempting lips—along with the sharpest tongue he’s ever heard.
Gracie can’t seem to get one step ahead of Noble for long, but she won’t back down from a good challenge. When things go haywire on the ranch, she and Noble have no choice but to band together and make things work. Seems to Noble, Gracie was right—she IS good at everything—especially kissin’.

Gracie Dalton, college grad from a family of ranchers has become a cowpoke. She wants this more than anything. Noble Watkins, 4th generation cowpoke on the Blackburn ranch. Both want to be the last man, ah, woman standing. This story starts off with a competition of sharing them same space and chivalry being stomped out to be one of the guys. Great character build up. A good bit informative descriptions of activities done on a range. It is man / woman vs nature. A HEA, no cliffhangers, cameo characters from other books. Loved the “ah ha” moment. Love is….

Em Petrova has an outstanding way of writing her books with so much heart that you cant help but fall in love with them. Enthralling and mesmerizing this is a must read for all book lovers.
Boy howdy, that’s one hot cowboy!
Gracie and Noble are among the four cowhands hired for two permanent spots on the Blackburn Ranch, so they have to prove their abilities while competing against each other. As part of the Dalton family, Gracie grew up on the back of a horse, and while this isn’t the job she went to college for, it’s the job she wants right now. Noble’s come from a long line of Blackburn hands and he’s not about to let anyone, least of all a woman, keep him from continuing that line.
This story details the life of a modern-day cowhand in such vivid color you’ll think you spent the day on a horse yourself. The interpersonal relationships among all the ranch hands is brimming with authenticity. The chemistry between Gracie and Noble is hotter than a branding iron and leaves a more permanent mark. Gracie proves herself worthy of the Dalton legacy, and her relationship with Noble sets them both on the path to a strong future. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Graciela wants to prove herself, to her family and to herself. Taking a job at another ranch she is in competition with 3 men for 2 cowpoke positions, but the odds might be against her from the start. Noble is living the dream by working on the ranch his father and grandfather before him worked, and this little miss isnt going to stand in his way, until the sparks that fly ignite. Not really an enemies to lovers story but two stubborn, hard working people who find more in common than just ranch work. The story was fun, the competition that Gracie seemed to feel more than any other really makes it enticing and those sparks do fly and downright burn. Great story to add to the Daltons.

4.5 stars. Gracie has graduated from college with a business degree with no job in sight. Noble is an Army vet who is living with his father that encourages him to spread his wings at a prestigious ranch. There are four jobs available, with only two becoming permanent. Her families have ranches that are fully staffed and she is too proud to ask for a job. Since she is the only woman cowpoke, she has quite the “I can do it by myself “ attitude. The I can’t stand you feelings are looking to change. How will that work? Very enjoyable read!

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This one about Gracie and how she wanted one thing really and had to go another route which she is enjoying for the time being. Noble worries about helping out his father but has to make a dream of his own come true.
If I ever had any doubt (which of course I didn’t) about how much I love this series, Cowgirl Dreamer would have squashed those thoughts in an instant! One again Em Petrova has penned an intense, passionate and absolutely absorbing story of life on the land and the hard-work and dedication that goes hand in hand with earning a living.
But Cowgirl Dreamer is so much more; this story highlights the support of family, the mixed emotions while finding one’s way, and the unexpected grip on your heart that comes from the undeniable chemistry, and soul-deep longing you share with that one special person.
Cowgirl Dreamer is the whole package, with an engaging and believable plot, strong, determined and genuine characters, and a love story that warms the heart and leaves the reader feeling all is right with the world. Thank you Ms Petrova for the honour of reading this ARC and silly smile it left on my face.
