Where would we all be if we hadn’t been kidnapped from Earth? And would we be the same people? Judging by the wedding between one of my old prison buddies and a gorgeous dragon shifter, it’s safe to say that we would not. The dragons were not the tyrant warlords you would expect from the strongest creatures in the known universe though.Until one of them kidnapped me.I was relieved to find out he … kidnapped me.
I was relieved to find out he was actually saving my life though: my so-called fiance was the one responsible for me and the 5 other women that were kidnapped by the outer-space wolves. It turned out his plans for me weren’t very husbandly after all. So here I was, caught between worlds, with a gorgeous, hunky dragon shifter ready to protect me.
At any cost.

This book picks up after Jen and Dominic are married. It is Samantha’s story. She thought she was adapting to this whole new life pretty well. She has a dragon, Ethan, who’s a bit socially awkward and works closely with the crown. They have a life together, although he is not open and forthcoming with Sam about himself or dragon affairs. When an unknown shifter shows up looking for Ethan and takes Sam prisoner to draw him out she finds that her happy life was a farce. Zen is Ethan’s brother and out for revenge. No one knows how truly evil Ethan is, what he has done and how adversely it is affecting the planet. My favorite part was when Sam took a bath and used the wrong bottle of liquid on the shelf to bathe. I laughed so hard. This book is truly an exciting and heart-pounding story. I must agree with Sam in regards to Jen’s attitude towards the other earth women. She may not like hearing it, but she hasn’t remained friendly with any of the other women and even though she saw how some were being treated did nothing to help. Jen lost point in my book the way she handled the situation with Sam. I was glad that they at least stayed civil after all of the fighting. I hope Ethan gets what he so rightly deserves.
Claimed by the Dragon by Anastasia Chase and Seth Eden is the second book in the Dragon Shifters from Cendarth series. In this book, librarian Samantha is living with Ethan a dragon shifter who has claimed her when she arrived on Cendarth after planet Earth was destroyed. Ethan wants her to agree to be his mate and gives her a ring. She asks him for a week to consider his proposal. Then the house that she lived in with Ethan is destroyed and within a twenty-four period her world is completely changed again. This book is full of lots of action, suspense, and a mystery that Samantha needs to solve to figure out who is telling the truth and who is lying. I loved the character of Samantha and how she deals with what life continues to throw at her. This story is definitely one that I recommend to anyone who loves reading about alien dragon shifters. Claimed by the Dragon is a surprise filled alien shifter romance.
The second book in the Dragon Shifters from Cendarth series a well written story that kept me turning pages. I will say read these stories in order to better understand them as the first one is like an introduction to the series. Samantha and Zen’s story has suspense, drama, danger, an evil brother, and romance. I hope there is going to be more to come in this series. A book I enjoyed reading. ONE INTENSE JOURNEY!!!
Thunder rolls! One totally engaging, mesmerizing, enthralling wonder that captures your attention until the last word. A multitude of inadvertent surprising events and vexing circumstances keep you flipping page after page. These guys totally nailed this bad boy and kept me on a razors edge from start to finish. Striving to overcome all the trials and tribulations along with a few bumps and bruises make for one dynamic experience. So turbulent and swift with so much heart, strenght and uncertainty that leaves you reeling waiting for the next shoe to drop. A chaotic ride with a bounty of swirling emotions bursting forward front and center. The realism and authenticity of the characters as their on point personalities blend and connect along with the graphically detailed scenes that really pull this baby together smoothly. Awesome job guys, thanks for sharing it.
Samantha and several other women are stolen from Earth by wolf shifters, and taken to another planet to become mates for the alien men. Samantha gets lucky and is paired with Ethan. He seems nice, treats her well, and after living with him for a while he proposes. But Samantha isn’t sure and asks for more time. Then Ethan disappears and Samantha is taken by Ethan’s exiled brother, Zen. Zen plans to hold her hostage in order to get his revenge on Ethan for the evil things Ethan did. As Samantha spends more time with Zen she finds out what Ethan is really like. But with everyone believing Ethan, can Samanatha and Zen get the King and Queen to believe them? And how will Ethan retaliate? Loved this story. Poor Zen had been living in isolation for so long, with no one. He’s a good person who has been condemned to a life apart from society. He has suffered a lot of heartache because of his brother. Can Samantha heal him?
I liked this book. I thought that there was a lot of sweetness in Sam and Ethan’s relationship and I did like them both. However, I do wish that the characters had been developed more though. There is a good amount of drama, tension and emotion woven through this interesting story.
This was a very interesting with a good plot line and very believable characters. Great worldbuilding.
However i found the constant changing POV very distracting.
With this second book we are starting to dig a bit deeper into the lives of each character. As always, some personalities can clash. I have to say this was a really good read. The H/h carried the story so well. You will learn the culture, a bit of politics of their world and of course all of the betrayals. Decisions were made and boundaries were crossed. I’m sure it’s just gonna get better from here.

Samantha needs to figure out which brother is the bad guy. Not your typical dragon shifter story. Ethan didn’t seem to be an alpha dragon. Zen was still grieving for his long dead wife. Samantha turns out to be just the kind of heroine a reader hopes for. Her character is interesting in more ways than one, but most of the characters lack any depth. Perhaps if I had read the first in this series, some things would make more sense. Overall a good read.
I hope they fixed all the typos before the final release.

Samantha has faced many recent new beginnings. First surviving a scourge on Earth, next surviving exodus and then capture, finally being claimed by an advisor to the heir to the throne.
Except Dominic and her friend Jenny, his wife and mate, have been working to restructure. So more a council of leaders than a kingdom now.
Watching those things literally crumble and be challenged as her now pregnant friend lies bleeding on the ground is one of the last things Samantha wants or feels ready to deal with. Discovering a host of conflicting loyalties and betrayals – even worse.
Can Samantha find and hang onto a life she wants? What about Dominic and Jenny?
Life is more plagued than she had hoped for, but perhaps more good things like ahead for them and their peoples.
