The twisted dragon queen stirs… sister needs to be prepared for her coming of age trial—a task that will test the woman’s fortitude and innocence—Aviana is the one tasked with showing her the world outside their secluded town. Her hands full with her sister’s childish nature, a foreboding prophecy is the last thing Aviana needs on her mind.
The signs of the prophecy, however, appear: pirate attacks, a fight with a dragon, and crossing paths with a cheerful dwarf and stunted, lecherous elf—and Aviana can’t ignore them. Things go from bad to worse, and she’ll have to trust her intuition and the most unlikely of allies to make it through, or the world will be plunged into chaos…
Readers who enjoy epic adventures, fantasy with a healthy dose of romance, and a strong heroine who defies all odds, won’t be able to put down Prophecy of Convergence, leaving you reading long into the night.
Buy Prophecy of Convergence and discover for yourself whether one determined Oracle can create her own fate, or whether she’ll be lost in the threads of prophecy…

This is the first in an awesome series!! How would you deal with a sister you are trying to teach about the world outside while having a prophecy throwing you into other adventures?? Well, you just take one thing at a time with a bit of help! Great beginning to the series and can not wait for the next adventure to see what happens next!!

A quest impossible to complete? Decades have passed since the last novella. Aviana is now almost seventy years old (though looks like a young woman in her twenties) and now has a half-sister named Temperance, who has been kept isolated by her mother, and is very immature for her age. Avian has gotten approval from her father to take Temperance and a tour so she can learn about other cultures and be ready for her coming of age test. If she passes she will finally get to meet their father and learn that she is part dragon. Akorith comes to Aviana in a dream and gives her a quest. She must find a queen and a lost city. As they travel, Temperance learns to use her magic better and has to fight for her’s and Aviana’s life several times. They meet and make many friends along the way, but several new friends travelling with them appeared in Aviana’s dream. What part do they play in her quest?
Our heroine is tasked with helping her sister prepare for her coming of age ceremony. Too bad prophecies of doom come at the same time. All she needs now is a little unasked for help…
This is the start of a new fantasy series featuring all kinds of fun things. On the surface, it is similar to so many others including dragons, elves, magic, prophecies, etc. But this one sets is own course with a well developed world and a group of fascinating and fun characters. There is an interesting balance of fancy and foreboding mixed into the story which made for a riveting read. I really liked the various characters with all their quirks as that made for a very entertaining and engaging read. The story does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I for one and anxious to read the next book as well.
Highly recommended.

Prophecy Of Convergence is Book 1 in the Oracle’s Path series. This is a well-written story with exceptional world-building and fantastic character development. Aviana, half-elf Oracle, is an amazing and strong lead character. We have everything present for a fun adventure which I highly recommend. Anxious for the next in series to see what adventure Shannon Erick has waiting for our characters. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Sooo good. So. So. Good. That’s what the “Cliff’s Notes” version of any review of Shannon Pemrick’s Prophecy of Convergence (Oracle’s Path Book 1) should read. I love fantasy stories and read tons (and tons, and tons) of them. This book is tops. Epic fantasy, a dragon god, magic, adventure and a touch of romance. Add a fantastic leading character in Aviana, a half-elf Oracle. Yup. Pretty much all the ingredients for superb fun. Frankly, but for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
