– Feline the Heat is book one of the Firehouse Witches Series, a medium-burn paranormal reverse harem with a side of laughter and plenty of heat (and it’s not just coming from the fire!)

This is an interesting look into the paranormal, mostly witches. Callie doesn’t think she is anything special except for her changing into a cat. She thinks it is a curse placed on her by the witches who killed her parents. Then there is Will, Hank and James the hot firemen who live in the fire station right next door. They also seem to have some kind of secret. I hate that it ends in a cliffhanger but I am so invested in the story that I know I will have to read the next book.

Callie has been cursed, and her parents killed, by witches. She is on a mission to find the truth of what happened, and get revenge if she can. She’s moved to a small town to investigate paranormal happenings, both for her blog and her private research. The night she sees a real golem and barely escapes with her life, she shifts into her cat form, and her cat goes to the firehouse instead of her house. There, her cat form falls asleep in bed with Hank. During the night she shifts back to human, awakening in bed with Hank, both of them naked. What a way to meet your neighbors! Totally embarrassed and wrapped up in just a sheet, she runs into James on her way out. So begins the saga of Callie as human, her cat form, and the three firemen. Her, and their, adventures heat up in more ways than one. It’s a fun read and light-hearted despite some heavy magic and evil witches.
This is a cute, entertaining story about a firehouse cat named Callie. Callie is cursed as a cat shifter which isn’t bad except she has no control over when, where or for how long she shifts. As the firehouse cat Callie is surrounded by sexy, hot firemen, sounds great to me. This is a fun read that I didn’t want to end and now I anxiously await the next book in The Firehouse Feline series.
Callie has been cursed as a cat shifter that has no control. She does not want the guys at the firehouse to know. Will she get rid of the curse? Can she keep her secret? What are the men’s secrets? Can they keep her safe?

This book was fantastic.
I read reverse harem books but I usually do not review them but this one sounded so damn cute that I knew I just had to get the arc. I loved Callie can you imagine being a cat and the cat does not play nice at all that would cause so much trouble. That not all she is dealing with oh no she is trying to find out who murdered her folks and it appears would be happy she was wiped off the face of the earth too. Does she have to do it all alone perhaps just maybe there is a fireman or more willing to help? Cute story, great characters, and an awesome bunch of bad guys this is one of Laura Greenwood’s best. Pick it up today! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
A nice fun read mixing the writing styles of three different authors which surprisingly all blended well together to create a very good book. I really liked the storyline and also like that even though it is not a true cliffhanger, the teaser for a second book is there. I hope this trio of writers will give us more soon!

Callie had decided to move to Blackwater Falls, where her father had been born, to get some answers to her questions about her parents, a witch, a curse put on her, and how to remove it. First she goes on a stakeout. At least she may get something interesting to write about for her paranormal blog. With five tourists having died on the beach in the last three months, it sounded like a good place to start looking for a possible siren luring them to their deaths. She shivers in the deeply dark night where all she can see is the movement of the ocean but nothing else.
But suddenly she sees a 7-foot bulky creature coming toward her, dragging someone behind it on the beach. Her little dagger and pepper packet no longer seem like enough defense against this siren! Now that it’s closer, she can see it is dragging an unconscious man, but he is still alive. The creature drops him into the mud which glows red and starts to suck him down. The man wakes and screams! Callie jumped out with her knife to rescue him, but then the knife fell out of her hands onto the ground… not cool. The creature turned back to the man and pushed him further into the mud again. Throwing pepper into its face and stabbing it in the chest – which only made it look down, confused at the dagger – let her know this was definitely NOT a siren. What is it? Then she sees symbols on its forehead, realizes what this is, and smears the symbols with her hand, causing the creature to fall lifeless… on top of her. Callie is having a bad day. Her body convulses and her cat-self hisses as a wave comes at her. But at least now she knows a witch sent that golem after this man.
Callie has no control over her cat, not able to decide when she becomes one or changes back to human. The cat has her own mind and does things her own way. Stressed by the events on the beach, her cat goes to the firehouse next door to her apartment, and Callie wakes up in the morning naked on a fireman’s bed! Her embarrassing run back home grabs the attention of three hot firemen — Will, James and Hank – and she will find something different about them. Is her life in danger in this paranormal town? Will her sexy firemen try to protect her and help her find her answers?
This book was hilarious! I think the authors did that deliberately so the reader wouldn’t die of fright! But the interactions of the characters and the events as they are so well-described, will keep the reader chuckling or bent over in hysterical fits of laughter. Grab this fun book and get a close view of the crazy hijinks that Callie gets up to. You’ll love it!
A whimsical spin on a PNR with a reverse harem. Callie is just a normal blogger with a blog on the side about the paranormal with researched posts only, oh yeah and she randomly turns into a cat every now and then. She found the town her birth parents were from and steps into a world she’s only ever dreamed about. And enter the transformation into a cat, who never shares control with her, who decides to curl up in the local firehouse with a whole bunch of hotties. Her cats penchant for curling up with the hotties next door leads to some awkward and hilarious situations as well as enthralling the firemen who each just happen to be of the paranormal variety. There are changing POVs between Callie and all 3 guys giving us a peek into their minds while Callie is running head first into the paranormal world while the guys try to protect her from it. The story ends with a huge plot twist level reveal and a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more.

I found this book interesting with well developed and engaging characters that have great chemistry and a storyline that is well written. This is a great start to this series.
This is book one in the Firehouse Feline Series and it does end in a cliffhanger. Callie’s parents were killed by witches and she had a curse on her. She meets the guys from the fire department in a most unusual way and they are definitely hiding something. Callie is on a search to get rid of her curse in this funny and quirky read.

This is fun, quirky, and oh so sexy! Every story by Laura always has something different and keeps it interesting. The shenanigans in this story were to die for and I couldn’t put it down.

Really good, fast paced fun storey. With a sassy, sarcastic female lead whom i want to love but i have a small issue that she is a Cat Shifter but they portray her as clumsy around the firemen which would e fine except she is a cat shifter – Cats are feline, graceful and absolutely never clumsy so to me its a massive clash.
Other than this the storey is fun and draws you in and i certainly want to read the next book so the strength of teh storey overides any issues i have on personality.
For something a little different this is definately worth a read.
Enjoyable to read
This is the first book of the trilogy and was very entertaining to read. It’s fun to read about the guys drooling while the cat rules. Read the book and you’ll see what I mean. Looking forward to the next in the series.
This is a rather unusual romance with sexy firemen, a cursed human? And lots of magic with a hefty dose of intrigue!
Compelling read!

I almost didn’t get this book. I thought it was going to be all about sex, was I wrong. I would give it ten stars if that was an option. The description of this book does not do it justice. I could not stop reading until it was over. A town full of paranormals, sexy firemen, witches, warlocks, golems, an evil king, Callie (the girl trying to get some answers about a curse and how to get it lifted) and so much more. Grab it, read it, if you like paranormal stories , you will love this. Don’t be put off like I almost was thinking it was going to be nothing but sex, it is far from that.

I absolutely freaking loved this book! Callie’s life is anything but normal after a witch killed her parents and cursed her. She has absolutely no control when she changes into a cat, what it decides to do, or where it decides to go- her cat is stubborn and has a mind of her own. Recently, she moved to Blackwater Falls, a seeming normal town where her paranormal investigations led her to, and it definitely has its secrets and mysteries. Hank, James, and Will are her next door neighbors from the local fire department and are sweet, protective, angsty, and full of secrets as well. Callie and her cat’s personalities are curious, snarky, and fierce, but loyal and loving at the same time. Sugar, the fire department’s volunteer, has a great pushy personality, but it’s always for the right reasons, even if they’re unknown. The way that Callie and the guys connect and banter is hilarious and I thought it was great to see different parts of the book from everyone’s POV. I found this to be slow burn, but that didn’t lessen my enjoyment at all- it actually fit the story better! There is an actual plot, I swear, you just have to get there, but be warned: it does leave on a cliffhanger and wanting more!

*Spoiler Alert*
Callie (FMC) can change into a cat but her cat isnt exactly co-operative and has a mind of its own. When it falls asleep in a firehouse one night Callie wakes up naked on a hot fireman’s bed. Which leads to various scenarios with her and three hot firemen – Will, James and Hank. These firemen are not all they seem though and thats where the story becomes more interesting. In fact the town in general isnt. A funny, witty book with great characters and a brilliant story
Callie is really unique, specially uniquely destined to put her nose and furry legs not where it should be. She is determined to find truth but she finish by getting herself in troubles, constantly. Her cat form is not better either, jumping in bed with sexy firefighters next door, what of course leads to some awkward moments. Will, James and Hank are united group, each with his own character, way of speaking and complex behavior. Every character have something to hide, and seeing it uncover slowly is really mesmerizing. The world created for this story is very interesting, even if it’s impossible to understand it right away, we are slowly uncovering its rules and details, layer after layer. Definitely worth reading.
The description says this brings the heat and not just with the fire. This first book has very little heat. That doesn’t stop it from being a good book. You will laugh a lot in this book. The town Callie moves to is not what everyone thinks it is. Callie is also not what everyone thinks she is. This strange town is more then most people bargain for but at least Callie has 3 hunky Firefighters to help her. She also likes to save herself and them. It will be interesting to see where this series will go. I am betting more heat will follow in the next books.

******** May Contain Some Spoilers ********
I will try my absolute best to keep spoilers to a minimum or completely out of my review. Sometimes it can be hard to do so.
I’m going to be totally honest, when I read the blurb for this book, I didn’t think I would like the storyline. I love all the books these 3 ladies have written, so I had to give this book a honest try. The blurb doesn’t do this book justice. Absolutely a fantastic storyline. I’m hooked on this series!
Callie is the female main character. She is gentle, strong, stubborn, and feisty. The town she moved to is full of paranormal. We have witches, warlocks, shifters and some unknown types. Living by the fire department, Callie finds herself waking up naked in one of the fireman’s bed. The 3 sexy fireman, James, Hank, and Will, have a pull to protect Callie. As Callie trys to find out about who killed her parents and cursed her, hidden secrets come to light. This book doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, but it does leave you wanting more. I’m excited for book 2!
