Emily King has worked hard to become the go-to photographer to the stars, but between readying her new studio and organizing an upcoming charity event, she has little time left for anything else. Well, at least her sweet corgi, Daisy, gives her all the companionship she needs. That is, until a blast from Emily’s past blows right into Tinsel Town…Stage actor Connor Stone couldn’t wait to trade … to trade in the cold winters of New York City for the sunny skies of Los Angeles. And this cross-country move becomes even more of a no-brainer when he finds out his ex needs some extra hands to help prepare the charity event of the season. With his first big movie role and the one who got away both in his sites, Connor can hardly believe how close he’s come to truly having it all.
But will Emily even want to make the time to get to know him again? And will she like what she sees on the other side of her camera lens? Or is their relationship best left in the archives?

Pining for the Photographer by Debbie White is fifth delightful A Celebrity Corgi Romance. The book captured my attention from the first chapter when Emily goes to a remote location for a photo shoot and ends up at gun point. I thought Pining for the Photographer was well-written and the story moved along at a steady pace. I liked the characters of Emily King and Connor Stone. Emily is a photographer who is strong, intelligent and a go-getter. She also owns a darling blue merle Pembroke Welsh corgi named Daisy who is very protective of her mama. I am surprised that the sparks between Connor and Emily did not ignite a fire. Connor Stone is an actor and the brother of Emily’s best friend, Kayla. Kayla would love for her best friend to become her sister. I liked how the story tied in with the other books in the series, but it can be read on its own for those who have not read the rest of A Celebrity Corgi Romance series. I appreciated the epilogue that nicely wrapped up the book. Pining for the Photographer is a sweet story with rash robbers, the darling Daisy, a charitable event, a charismatic actor, and a captivating photographer.
I really enjoyed the story. A lot of action right from the start and the story continued on until the end. It is an inspiring story that was a lot of fun to read! A great book!
Different storyline from most others. Always issue of fighting or an argument usually toward the end of the story, then they make up at the end and everything is hunky dorey, not this time.
Fun characters, Kayla & Spencer and hardworking, all everyone accomplished at the Pet fundraiser. A few off the wall details, fender bender and the thieves, Daisy’s emotional stress, I can see bits to this one, but the fender bender had no part of the storyline to me and the thieves was just very different, made why Emily wanted to stop remote shooting but that’s about all I got from that info.
I was SO happy for Sara Beth and her children. Would like to know more about Kayla and Spencer, especially since he wasn’t mentioned at the wedding.
This was a really great book! I enjoyed the characters and loved Daisy the sweet little Corgi. A great deal to like about this story from the sweet pets to the romance. Debbie White is a new to me author and I’m looking forward to reading more by her.
Was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.
Pining for the Photographer is a sentimental story of second chances and courageous spirit. White appeals to the soul with an adorable matchmaker, a heartaching romance and a fresh chance for love. The fact that the matchmaker is a mischievous corgi named Daisy is priceless. I am voluntarily leaving my opinion on what is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
This book offers a sweet romance.
It’s a very enjoyable read and entertaining read.
I received a free copy of this book via Sweet Promise Press and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Every girl whose best friend has a older good-looking brother dreams that some day he will notice them. Usually doesn’t happen but for Emily the stars align and Connor asks her out. I love how the ladies in this series are all successful in their fields. Debbie White is a new to me author but I enjoyed her writing style and found her characters to be well-developed. I look forward to reading more from her.
I was giving an advanced copy of this book. Opinions given are my own.
What could be better than having a great job as a photographer, living in California, owning a cute and cuddly Corgi named Daisy and maybe finding love again with a former boyfriend. Follow this funny and crazy story of what it’s like to take pics of movie stars and owning a very protective corgi who has to rescue you several times while working and looking for love. I loved this story and twist and turns that came with it. Once I started reading I couldn’t quit until the last page was turned.
Pining for the Photographer by Debbie White is book 5 in The Celebrity Corgi Romance series and it is a delightful story. This book features Emily, a photographer, Connor, an actor, and of course, Daisy, a Corgi. Emily takes mostly family photos until an incident at one shoot causes her to stay closer to home. Emily gets reacquainted with Connor when he moves to LA for a job. He starts to send celebrities her way which greatly increases her business and her need for an assistant. She hires a young woman approved by Daisy, an excellent judge of character. Emily takes on running a huge pet charity event with Connor’s help while her assistant gets very involved in the business. A fun, sweet and clean read. I really enjoy Debbie White’s books and this one is no exception. Loved it!
Emili is very busy makimg her photography business work. She is also organising a fund charity and trying to heal her sweet corgi Daisy, who after a bad experience is attacking men. When Connor, Emily best friend’s brother comes to LA to make two film they star a relational that will heal Daisy and make them very happy
I loved this sweet little romance, it was very entertaining and the characters were awesome. Emily and Connor had great chemistry between them. I loved how Emily and Daisy took on the bad couple, and then poor Daisy had to have therapy to get over the trauma of the situtation. I would definitely recommend this read to others
The story begins with Emily going to a remote site for an engagement photo shoot. She ends up being held up at gunpoint. Emily surprises the robbers with her martial arts skills. With the help of her sweet, adorable rescue Corgi, Daisy, who turns into a fierce warrior when her beloved Emily is threatened, she takes the would be robber down and holds him and his girlfriend/accomplice with the robber’s own gun until the police arrive.
Emily uses the money from her grandmother to open a studio of her own so that she doesn’t have to travel to remote sites for photo shoots.
Emily’s teenage crush, Connor, who also happens to be her best friend, Kayla’s, brother, moves back to their hometown. Will Emily and Connor get a second chance for romance?
Emily is asked to plan a fundraiser for the local animal shelter. She enlists Kayla and Connor to help with the fundraiser.
Delightful story with a wonderful theme. An adorable rescue Corgi helping to raise money so that other dogs and cats can find permanent homes. Who could ask for anything more?
I recommend Pining for the Photographer to anyone who likes a sweet second chance romance. Animal lovers will love Daisy.
This is another sweet, fun book in The Celebrity Corgi Romances series. I really liked how this book tied into the previous books in the series. The author immediately pulled me into the story which I enjoyed and had me hooked into the main character. I liked Emily, who is a photographer from Texas. It was nice to see Emily as a strong, courageous character who does not give up. I also liked her cute, protective corgi named Daisy. I enjoyed that her character took a chance on someone who was down on their luck and gave them a job. She and her corgi seemed to be great judges of character.
This book had several action packed moments and some really sweet ones too. I really enjoyed the pet event to raise money for the animal shelter. It sounded like a lot of fun and Emily was such a great organizer.
Then there is Connor, an actor who has moved from NYC to LA to be in a new movie. He also happens to be Emily’s best friend’s brother. Sparks definitely fly between Emily and Connor. I enjoyed Emily and Connor’s sweet relationship and especially how the story ended in the epilogue. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Wonderful and humorous. Such a joy to read. Absolutely loved this story!!!
This is a good clean book. Can read alone or the whole series You will pick up on names from earlier books, but the books and stories all make sense on their own. Recommend reading!
I received an advanced ebook and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
Pining for the Photographer is a fun, sweet romance. Emily has some crazy martial arts skills and a very protective corgi Daisy. Connor, brother of Emily’s BFF is also a former boyfriend and a movie star. When Connor moves to town, he agrees to help Emily with a huge charity event she agreed to plan. Will Emily and Connor find time for love? I highly recommend this book (and the entire series) to anyone who loves clean, well written romance and cute dogs.
This is a very enjoyable sweet romance. An entertaining storyline and lovable charaters are combined to create a book that will leave a smile on your face and make your heart feel lighter. I felt that Emily and Connor were perfect together and I loved seeing their relationship evolve. I thought that Daisy the corgi was simply too precious! Aside from the romantic tension and emotional turmoil the book has a varyity of other drama inducing elements to keep the characters on their toes and the reader turning pages
This book is a sweet read. It has a darling corgi named Daisy that is the star of the show and very protective. This book is well written and holds your attention. I received an ARC copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
Emily is a photographer, after one job goes wrong, great thing she knows martial arts and was able to use it, Daisy her corgi helped too. She meets with her friend Kelly and finds out that Kelly’s brother is coming to LA, he got a job. They start seeing each other.
A cute romance with a very protective Corgi named Daisy, this well-written novel can be read by most age groups. Emily has worked hard to earn her spot in Los Angeles as a photographer, a profession that requires more than just talent to make one’s name heard. Having finally reached the stage of being able to open a studio, life takes off like a jet airplane. As if she wasn’t busy enough, she has had to endure unscrupulous customers, a potential stalker and an accident that almost destroys her home. Fortunately Connor Stone, an old acquaintance, relocates to Los Angeles and he rises to the occasion every time Emily needs help. Navigating the pathway to romance, dealing with a charity event and Emily’s parents all contribute to building their relationship until they both come to the realisation that they have to take the next step. I enjoyed the main characters in this book but felt for Connor when he was introduced to the parents. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
