SEALs of Honor: Ryder
Having lost the one good thing in his life, Ryder wants only to forget, to help others and defend his country. After a mission goes south and his SEAL brother is hurt, Ryder checks on him in Medical and finds the one that got away working there. In no time at all, the same damn feelings … got away working there. In no time at all, the same damn feelings he used to have for Caitlyn are back as if they’d never gone away. She’s not his anymore, but maybe friendship is enough…
That’s the last thing Caitlyn wants with Ryder. She isn’t here by chance. Realizing she screwed up their relationship big-time, she’ll do anything to get him back in her life, even if it means working overseas on the off-chance of seeing him sometimes.
When the outpost is attacked, medical supplies go missing and Caitlyn is grabbed, all bets for a fairy-tale ending are off. What’s really important is all that matters now, and the two of them need to figure out what that is before they lose that very thing again–this time permanently.
SEALs of Honor: Macklin
One damaging relationship in his life refuses to end when the woman insists it’s not over between them for her. Marsha makes Macklin’s life hell…until she turns up dead and the evidence points straight at him.
As the new detective on the Coronado Police force, Alex is determined to make a good impression on her superiors and colleagues. That goal is thwarted by Macklin, who’s the chief suspect in her murder investigation–and someone she longs to know a whole lot better. Whether she wants to or not, she can’t let herself foolishly forget that his last girlfriend now occupies an ice-cold bed at the morgue.
During his thorough interrogation at the precinct by the sexy-beyond-belief detective, Macklin finds himself furious…and intrigued. Seems, alive or dead, Marsha is determined to make his life miserable. Alex intends to find out the truth, and, as an elite warrior himself, he admires her grift and ethics in pursuit of the answers. Damn that she’s the first woman in a long time he’d love to get to know better.
With no other option, Macklin has to help the detective solve the mystery–hopefully before Alex has no choice but to charge him with murder.
SEALs of Honor: Corey
A voice from the past cries out for help and Corey finds himself reunited with the only woman who’d ever rocked his world straight off the axis. But twelve years is a long time apart. Both of them have moved on, but, tragically, Angela is no longer the lighthearted woman he once knew and loved.
Caught in a nasty divorce and custody battle, Angela will do anything to keep her son with her. After seven years of a rocky marriage, she’s only just beginning to figure out what kind of a man her husband truly is.
Angela makes it clear to Corey she doesn’t want or need his help. She’s got her own insurance to secure her case. But Corey is determined to shield his old flame anyway because she doesn’t seem to realize her “insurance” is more than likely to get her dead sooner rather than later. Given that Corey’s up against a man with no intention of letting his son go, it’s a race to see who ends up in a casket first.

Ryder Book 14
Caitlyn made a big mistake not contacting Ryder after a spectacular weekend that ended with his declaring his love for her. She’d walked out but she did so because she was overwhelmed. Now so much time has passed and she’s made another big mistake by getting Mac to take her to a barbeque where she thought she’d be able to talk to him. Instead he left to avoid her.
A military nurse, Caitlyn is once again deployed, she’s also where Ryder and his team are assigned. Although she is in the same camp, running into them isn’t easy with tensions so high in the area.
Mac is injured on a mission and Ryder discovers Caitlyn is on base. Not happy with that but sort of understanding that she wanted to be close to Mac.
When the base is attacked, Caitlyn is injured, but doesn’t realize it until the rush is over. With a concussion and stitches she is sent to rest for twenty-four hours. Ryder some how finds himself watching over her, he couldn’t stay away.
Caitlyn needs to find a way to explain everything that went through her mind after his declaration of love. However with things heating up in the area, they never seem to get the chance for the privacy needed for that discussion.
I couldn’t put this one down, so much going on and so much pain both emotional and physical. Both wanting more but cautious. I really loved the slow build and the patience Ryder shows.
I am already reading Macklin, as it’s next in this three book collection.
Macklin Book 15
When we met Macklin we got some hints as to his ex and the wild things she did. In this book we find out all about that relationship and how truly weird she was.
As Mac prepares to return to duty Corey, Ryder and Caitlyn are out for coffee when they are approached by the police. Apparently Mac’s ex Marsha has been murdered and he is the number one suspect.
Mac goes in for questioning and finds himself intrigued by Alex, a feeling he hadn’t experienced in a very long time.
Alex has more than one case though, there’s also been a spree of break-ins in military housing. The strange thing, nothing was taken and the occupants had mostly just been scared by the intruder who ran.
Of course the guys won’t leave things totally to the police and Mac calls Alex with theories. The flirting is fun and the chemistry is palpable between these two. Alex just has to clear him, so maybe they can start something more.
Lots of twists and turns, and we see Mason in this one, although Corey is more involved. Breakfasts, lunches and a dinner bring Alex and Mac closer to a relationship that definitely has sizzle.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!
Corey Book 16
No one is more surprised than Corey when he gets a call from his high school girlfriend. She asks to meet for lunch and Corey agrees. Once they settled in and ordered she decides she’s made a mistake and leaves, in spite of Corey’s efforts to get her to stay and talk.
Angela thinks she’s made a mistake going to Corey, they have a lot of history between them and with her current problem it didn’t seem right.
Now Corey’s interest is peaked and he finally gets in touch with his sister who informs him Angela is missing.
It wasn’t hard to get Mason to help and he agreed Warrick could join him as back up. Finding Angela becomes a priority when they find her apartment had been broken into and trashed.
Not surprising, Corey’s sister had the answers he needed to find her and some revelations about Angela’s situation. Corey had no idea she had married and had a child, and her circumstances now stem from her soon to be ex.
Angela has somewhat settled in her Aunt’s lakeside cabin. Forewarned that Corey and Warren were coming to help her, she isn’t surprised when they show up although she wasn’t sure what they could do for her.
There is a lot going on in this book, between the photos Angela copied, the fight to get her son back, and of course the attraction she has with Corey.
Warren was a steady force in this one as well. Even though he was dealing with his recent break-up. He’s the one who recognized the ‘Keeper’ aspect of the interactions between Corey and Angela.
I loved the slow build to the relationship in the middle of the emotions and angst of the investigation. The love and support of Corey truly helps her keep it together as her almost ex turns up the heat.
I LOVE Dale Mayer books!
