This is Kerrigan and Dmitry book.
I liked this one but not as much as the first. There were just a few things that really bothered me.
I understood how Kerrigan got her job but come on someone who makes these types of mistakes especially in life and deather situations would be fired. Also, she is going for her Master’s degree, so she’s not dumb.
Dmitry was a good character. I little broody on the whole, I’m a killer how can she like me stance but otherwise he was a great character.
Kerrigan and Dmitry are such a a cute opposites attract couple. I think that Kerrigan and Dmitry are characters that many many people can relate to! Kerrigan is a bit quirky and Dmitry is a bit stoic. A good book to past a few hours with!
This one does not disappoint
Kerrigan, befuddled dispatcher, avoids interacting with Dmitry, the assassin of P.O.L.A.R., due to her growing attraction to him. As the story progresses danger comes from multiple locations and fighting the attraction from both parties may lead to damaging their future. Candace Ayers’ second book in her P.O.L.A.R. series does not disappoint for a quick afternoon read. I would love to know more about Serge and Hannah’s story and am looking forward to reading about the rest of the crew.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Hero Bear is the second book in the P.O.L.A.R. Series, but reads well as a stand alone. Kerrigan is the operator for all of the P.O.L.A.R. shifters, but the stresses of the job and in her life are causing her to continue to mess up. Add in the fact that she has a huge, unreciprocated crush on Dmitry and she owes money to a dangerous man, and her life is falling apart. Will one shifter become her hero and realize how special she is?
Once I started this book, I just could not put it down! I was so drawn to Kerrigan and Dmitry, to their issues, to their world, and I just loved every second I spent reading this book. Kerrigan is kind of a hot mess, but she’s trying so hard to make her world right. While she feels like a failure, she just needs to find the right environment for her to fully succeed! Dmitry feels compelled to watch over Kerrigan, to be her protector, to make sure she stays safe and unharmed, but thinks he can’t touch her due to his past. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, but it was almost a torture to read them constantly resisting what they both wanted and needed. There’s quite a bit of drama in this book, with the slightest hint of danger, but it all will pull at your heart and want to flip through the pages! This was a great book and I am so excited about this series!
This is a well written book with strong characters and an entertaining story line. The author brings two opposites together and gives them an instant attraction .. which they both fight for their own reasons .. and sets them off on an adventurous journey filled with humor, surprises and twists and turns as well as the hot chemistry. She brings the story to life with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes, I loved this book and would recommend reading.
