She’s been promised a dream wedding. The catch? She was abducted from Earth and her groom is a hot alien warrior with a bad attitude. Taken to a high-tech space station designed to entice human women, LA socialite Mandy is anything but impressed. She’s not falling for their holographic fantasy suites, their promise of a dream wedding, or their gorgeous, brawny warriors. Especially not the … Especially not the arrogant, hot-shot commander she’s been matched with. He may be used to being obeyed, but no way is she following HIS orders. She could care less that he’s huge and ripped and drop-dead gorgeous. Right?
The last thing Dorn wants is a mate.
As a Drexian commander tasked with defending his people from a menacing enemy, he has no use for a frail human mate. Even if they are his species’ last chance for survival. Especially not one as spoiled as her.
But, unfortunately for him, he has no choice. Not if he wants to get back to his battleship and save both Earth and the Drexian race from extinction.
This standalone action romance novel features steamy scenes on a holographic fantasy space station, a high-strung alien wedding planner with a penchant for platform shoes, deadly aliens hell-bent on invading Earth, and smoking-hot Drexian warriors with extra erogenous zones who are equally determined to protect Earth.
If you like hot alien warriors, kick-ass Earth women, and steamy romance with a happily ever after and a few laughs, you’ll love Tamed, the first book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors series.

Mandy, a spoiled, arrogant, rich LA socialite — surrounded by fake acquaintances who don’t even like her — is transported to a holographic fantasy space station to become a “tribute bride” to a Drexian warrior. As a Drexian commander tasked with defending both Earth and the Drexian race from extinction, Dorn definitely doesn’t want a frail human mate in his life to distract him, even though he is forced to claim her to continue the family line. He just wants to get back to his battleship and do his job! Because neither of them wanted this, there is irritation and resistance from both sides. Who will give in first before they kill each other?
This was an enjoyable read! The characters’ personalities were off-the-charts and made for a fun story line that moved quickly. It’s anyone’s guess which way this could go – but maybe they will discover they are more similar than they realized. And maybe their fiery combination could work if given a chance?
Mandy is a spoiled rich city girl wanting to do something different with her life. She is chosen as a tribute bride to Dorn, a Drexian Commander. I’m not sure he got a good deal by saving Earth and getting Mandy. She realizes that the people that flutter around her are not really people that like her. This is a very fast read. Mandy and Dorn start off on the wrong foot and dislike each other. Didn’t like Mandy at all. She is a privileged character. Too much drama for my taste. Was a good read all in all. My first book by Tana Stone.

Can she change?
Looking for an alien romance well this one maybe just the one you want. There is a lot of action in the story and major chemistry. Mandy the spoiled brat is going to be given a chance to perhaps change her life. Dorn the protector of Earth is given a tribute and it is fun reading what he does with the tribute. This was a hoot campy all the way I just loved it. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This was a fun fast paced action adventure, with great characters. I loved the characters and the interactions between Dorn and Mandy. I will defently be looking more of this series.

Dorn and Mandy wanted nothing to do with their mating. She was taken from earth and he was called off his warrior ship. They couldn’t stand each other…. at first….. and then boy did their relationship explode. Lots of drama and fighting both between each other and their enemies. Fun read.

It was funny and interesting. Take the spoiled little rich girl who wants to get away from the plastic life that she has in order to see if she can maybe change herself? Mandy is supposed to be given to Dorn as a tribute bride and not to give out any spoilers but let us just say that they have more in common than you might think and that the romance was a nice development that was written well and not rushed. I really enjoyed reading it.

great read
This book left me with conflicting emotions. In the end I thought there was some, good, some bad and sadly quite a bit of wasted potential. As for the good: I liked the hero. Dorn was a warrior, alpha male that was focused on his duties to his family, species and world. He was hot and seemed like a decent guy. The heat level: Trust me when I say things get sizzling and steamy. The World: I found the setting intriguing. And Lastly: The Battle Of Wills. It was fun to see these two clash together. Now the bad: The heroine. Considering her situation you are inclined to feel for Mandy and I kind of did, or at least as much as I could because she was just so very unlikable. Privileged, spoilt and a straight-up brat, this character was very hard to take. Emotion: I felt that there was a lack of a real connection between the couple. Desire, yes. Attraction, yes. Love, not so much. So, in the end, I liked this book but felt some of its potential was squandered. I will certainly give other books in this series a chance because my most troubling issue was the heroine. The book is performed by a single narrator and I felt that they did a good job in bringing the story to life.
Mandy reacts to her fear and loneliness with annoying “spoiled brat” behavior. She’s traumatized from neglect and desperate for a purpose in life, though she feels she’ll never be worthy enough to contribute. Being kidnapped as a tribute bride in exchange for protection for the rest of the planet, this is even more firmly drilled into her when she’s continuously told that she was chosen because “nobody would miss” her. To add further salt to the wound, the guy she’s supposed to marry wants nothing to do with her. Dorn decides to try to appeal to her, but he’s hilariously terrible at it. And he’s continuously busy dealing with a sudden threat to earth they may not be able to defeat.
Mandy’s trauma and the alien reaction to it is handled in a relatively realistic manner. She’s not recovered in the end, she still has a neediness and dependency, but is doing what she can to lessen it. There is little of the alien culture presented in this book, as the aliens have attempted to accommodate the earth ladies as much as possible. And while that is something that appeals to me most about this genre, its absence didn’t detract from my enjoyment of it. The intrigue, action, and emotional upheaval were enough to keep my interest. And the end, while not a cliff hanger, plants an intriguing seed in the reader’s mind.
