Quinn
San Francisco has become too expensive to call home. I can’t help but take a second job to make ends meet and payoff my expensive school loans.
Leaving William that message was an accident. Now I could lose my day-job.
I don’t have time for men, but when he offers me a trip home to pose as his fiancée and the reading of his father’s will, this just might be the distraction and extra money I need.
I don’t want to be anybody’s girlfriend, much less his fake fiancée, but the money is too good to resist.
My name is Quinn Faraday and my life is a mess. It’s only a week, how hard can it be?
Enchanted is a standalone romance with a happy ending. It’s the eighth book in the Billionaire Venture Capitalist series and reveals more about SHN. You can read it on its own, everything you need to know is explained, but once you get a taste you’ll want to binge the rest ;}

ONE HIGH OCTANE SIZZLE!!!
Hold tight! Satisfying is an understatement, this baby comes packing a punch that’s sure to please. This is one, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning bombshell that’s as riveting as it is captivating. A coiling eddy of unpredictable activities and unanticipated array of events that keep you flipping page after page. Personalities, attitudes and dynamics are 100% spot on with such realism it blows this baby wide open. The two main characters chemistry is intense, off the charts, palpable. Twists and turns along with stretched to unbelievable limits as you feel everything the characters feel. The realism and authenticity of the characters as their on point personalities blend and flow along with the graphically detailed scenes that thrust this little jewel together smoothly. Remarkable job Ainsley, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Another great book to the series. This one brings Quinn and William’s story. The author does a great job building their story starting with the unexpected voice mail and leads into a steamy, sexy fake fiance romance that quickly turns into so much more. There’s mystery and suspense along with their sizzling hot chemistry and romance. I was caught and held from start to finish reading and am looking forward to the next book.

William and Quinn work for the same company and end up having a ton of chemistry between them. Quinn has a ton of debt from loans and is barely making ends meet. She takes a sexy second job to help out and through a careless call her boss William from her first job finds out what she does and from there he wants more than she is ready for at the moment. I really liked Quinn and her real life situation that anyone can be in because making ends meet is a real life thing for many of us. William varied between jerk and sweetheart but overall I was quite pleased with the book and would recommend it.

It is a whole lot of work drama, romance, mystery and so much more all rolled up in this book. So grab a copy and start your adventure of Quinn and William. Next onto the next book with…….

3.5 stars
Living in San Francisco is hell on the bank balance. Quinn is buried in student loan debt and rent is astronomical. Although she loves her job, she’s nowhere near where she thought she’d be by this time. Struggling to make ends meet, she takes a second job…as a phone sex operator. It’s good money and no one needs to know, that is until late one evening she calls one of her bosses and leaves the phone line open while talking to a client. The cat is officially out of the bag and William is all fired up to make it more than just a phone call.
Enchanted is the 8th book in the Billionaire Venture Capitalist series, which I wasn’t aware of prior to receiving the book. While it definitely can be read as a stand alone, I think perhaps my enjoyment suffered from the lack of connection to the characters. I enjoyed most of this book but unfortunately I wasn’t “enchanted”. William and Quinn have worked together at the venture capitalist house for awhile and aside from interacting at work, don’t know each other well. One overheard phone call and about a week spent together posing as fake fiances (under less than ideal circumstances) and William is in love? While I did enjoy the suspense aspect with William’s father’s part of the story, I just didn’t feel much of a connection to the characters. I’m not certain why, perhaps it’s because I came to the series so late but although the storyline was good, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Plot-wise, this story has a lot going for it; so much intrigue with hackers to foil, a stepmother to rein in, a mysterious death and handy activity leading to FBI involvement on two coasts. Cash-strapped heroine Quinn and wealthy, successful venture capitalist William are in the thick of it all and a phone slip-up starts their relationship which, despite Quinn’s reservations, evolves with plenty of steam. Both hero and heroine seem buried in more and more problems as the action progresses. It got a bit depressing waiting for some light at the end of the tunnel.
I had a few issues with the details. The author threw in some details about Philadelphia that seemed inaccurate; some of the dialogue in the love scenes is strangely awkward; and I have never known of an employer that does not have a next of kin contact listed in each worker’s personnel file. This is the second story I have read in this series and, like in the earlier, there are a lot of secondary characters, friends and colleagues of the main characters, to keep straight. And to end the book with an open-ended surprise–not my idea of a great way to finish. But the quickly-evolving intrigue involving William’s family held me right to the end.

I loved William and Quinn. Their chemistry was blazing. William knows he loves her from almost the beginning, but Quinn thinks she’s just a fling. Will William be able to convince her before it’s too late? I also loved all the added suspense. I could not put the book down til I was finished.

I really enjoy this series and this book. I love the characters, the way the book is written, the relationship they have among each other and their love stories. This book also has an element of suspense as well. But most of all I love the sex scenes with hot characters.
The next in the Venture Capitalist series, this is an insightful and realistic look into the lives of the non-partners at SHN. Quinn should be on the partner track, but she’s crippled by the cost of living and her student debt, so she has a second job – one that is inadvertently shared with William one night, engaging his attention to her. To me, the Venture Capitalist books are about the characters, and Ainsley St Claire writes them so well and so vividly that I feel I know them. Characters from previous books are in this one, but prior knowledge of them isn’t essential; it just gives the sense of family some more context. William’s story has some unexpected twists – and it makes for great suspense. And we still don’t know who Adam and Eve are – and I can’t wait for the final instalment in that plotline. This is a book I recommend wholeheartedly.

This story jumps off from the first page. When William hears a message he shouldn’t, it has him thinking all kinds of things about Quinn. Then his father dies under questionable circumstances and he is thrown into a world of drama not to mention what’s going down at work. When his lawyer gives him a heads up about his father’s will, he ask Quinn to pose as his fiancé. Will William get to the bottom of what happened to his father and just what did the key unlock that his father left?

Holy cow, I’m floored right now!!
Quinn has been working for SHN for a few years now thanks to Emerson but she is having some issues. After calling one of the partners one night, she hangs up and answers her landline. When she grabs her cell phone she realizes she never actually hung up after leaving the partner a message. Now she is worried her job is on the line and starts to freak out a bit until she finally gets a chance to talk to the partner.
William loves his job and being a partner with SHN. When he listens to a rather long message left by Quinn he really starts to see her. Now he needs her help and he knows it will give him the opportunity to get to know her better but the last thing he expected was to fall in-love with her. He’s determined to make her his but he has to find her first and convince her they are the real deal.
I love this entire series so far. I love how we get all the past characters in each new story. This group of friends is one of a kind and I can’t wait to read the final book in this series, Fascination, in September however I will hate to see this series end.
I totally enjoyed this book. I had no problem reading it as a standalone read. I liked Quinn and William so much. Their chemistry and heat were through the roof! I thought the story line was fun and it held my attention easily. I loved the evolution of their relationship from an oops moment, to a deal that is beneficial to them both, to a love that neither one was looking for. A Fun and fantastic read.
This is a great book and can be read as a standalone although it’s part of the Billionaire Venture Capitalist series. Quinn and William were wonderful characters that were so great together. Their chemistry was over the top. Neither had any interest in a real relationship and their fake fiance situation was a ruse for money. Amazing how quick fake can become real. The characters were well-developed and the story was entertaining. I read an arc copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
