She has the chance to create the future she wants . . . but first she’ll have to face her past.Young, vibrant, and willing to confront any obstacle in her path, Bree Yarbrough has spent the last few years traveling the world and learning from the great artists. Only, her work has yet to strike a lasting chord. When her hometown mentor reaches out with an opportunity that will set her on the path … that will set her on the path to success, she knows she can’t say no. But once back in Silver Creek, she discovers she isn’t the only one who’s returned home. Justin Cory has as well—and he’s living next door. She may have made a fool of herself over him before, but Bree isn’t the kind of girl to let past mortification stand in the way of something she wants.
The last ten years of Justin Cory’s life has been driven by one focus: go to school, get his physical therapy degree, and return home so he can be there for his mom. But now that he’s back, he can’t stop thinking about the night that changed his life forever—and the guilt he can’t escape. Fun, irresistible, and once-best-friend Bree seems like the perfect distraction. She isn’t sticking around past the holidays, so he doesn’t have to worry she’ll expect more than he can give. But as they spend the season together, stolen mistletoe kisses start to feel all too right. However, with the future uncertain and the past hanging over them, it may take more than mistletoe to get from Christmas to forever.

Sometimes all it takes is a little faith in yourself and friends and family believing in you to achieve your full potential. Great build up and story line from the author. Through everything, i’m glad that love and forgiveness triumphs in the end
enjoyed
Couldn’t put it down wanted to see how it turned out a great read
I did not care for it.
Was glad Bree got her own story!
Enjoyable story of a couple reunited after spending years achieving their career goals but feeling something is missing in their lives.
Those who like graphic, steamy details will like this
I LOVED this fun little Christmas story! I’m always looking for fast reads during the holidays, something I can consume in a few hours so I can get as many in as possible. Montana Mistletoe fit the bill and the characters were perfect! All the characters, not just Bree and Justin, but their parents, her sisters, and even the mysterious Cord. Maybe he isn’t mysterious to anyone who is reading this series from the beginning, but since I picked it up at this one, we were unacquainted. Even if I didn’t know all the characters’ backstories it didn’t matter, I was able to read this as a stand-alone without any problem and if anything, it has now made me want to go back and read the rest of them.
Since this is a shorter read I’m not going to do a full rundown of the plot, you don’t need that to know Bree & Justin are perfect for each other! They have to work to get there, and they both have to overcome some past hurt and pain, but their love is worth it. You won’t regret tucking into this holiday romance and finishing it in one night. Just make sure you aren’t reading it while making cookies or you might burn a pan or two when you get lost in Montana. I’ll definitely be coming back to finish this series once the holidays are over.
DNF. Couldn’t get into it.
I love Christmas stories! Good storyline & great characters! It was well written and a pleasure to read. Add it to your holiday reading list!
Only read first few pages. Language fowl totally not what I expected.
Enjoyed the writing and the story was fun
I loved reading Bree and Justin’s best friends to lovers story in Montana Mistletoe by Kim Law. Bree is a talented artist who has spent the last few years traveling the world and learning from the great artists. When her hometown mentor contacts her and asks her to work on a mural that would set Bree on the path to success, she just can’t say no. Only she arrives home she discovers that the boy next door, Justin, once her best friend, is also home. This is the boy she made a fool of herself over and now a somewhat older Bree isn’t going to let a past embarrassment stand in the way of something she wants. Justin was in a bad car accident when he was a teen; paralyzing his mom and injuring his first girlfriend. For some reason, even with the help of counseling, he was unable to get beyond it and care about others. He believed he could not love another because of the guilt he could not escape feeling. There were times in this story I just wanted to reach out and smack Justin for his not confronting his past. With both of them home, Justin worked his magic to get back his best friend and maybe spend time together during the holiday season; stolen kisses under the mistletoe being a start towards moving these best friends into a relationship, one with benefits. With the future uncertain, the past needed to be healed before Justin and Bree can consider a future, together.
Ms. Law wrote a wonderfully hot and sexy story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Bree and Justin a chance for the happiness, love and a future together neither ever expected. I highly recommend Montana Mistletoe to other readers.
It’s great to see a couple get a true second chance
A quick Christmas in the summer read. A second chance romance between Bree and Justin. They grew up together in Silver Creek but both took different paths and have returned to Silver Bay. Bree has always been in love with Justin, until he rejected her. Justin was involved in a terrible incident and he has been unable to open his heart up again. It’s the holidays, what’s wrong with a little temporary romance until your heart open up again.
A story of first love between friends with wounds that need to be healed from the past. Loved this heart warming romance. Even though a novella, it’s a packed full story that will leave you wanting more.
