Jade Michaels is a coyote shifter who rebels against society and embraces the negative stereotypes of her kind. Her father bailed on her mother the second she found out she was pregnant leaving Jade to believe that true mates are nothing more than fabricated fairytales. At the start of her senior year at the ARC, Jade is determined to leave her mark and embarks on a campus wide inclusion … campaign. Her #1 goal is to take down Greek Row.
Brett Evans was the youngest president of his Delta Omega Gamma chapter and currently also resides as the president of Greek Row at the ARC. He learns of Jade’s crusade when the school administration begins to push back and insist the Greeks become more inclusive. When he goes to crash a campus bonfire party Jade is hosting, he gets much more than he bargains for! Jade Michaels, his sworn enemy is his one true mate.
They may both be coyote shifters, but at first glance that appears to the be the only thing these two have in common.
When they stumble across a deep, dark secret within the walls of the ARC, will they be able to set their differences aside to save the school? Or will their own prejudices towards each other be the fall of Archibald Reynolds?

Wiley Coyote……
Brett is a coyote shifter among wolves as president of the D.O.G. Fraternity at the ARC. They say that opposites attract!
He has seen most of his fraternity brothers find their mates and man what a mess they all made. Not him though fat chance he’ll ever find his especially not here. And that goth dressing pierce ‘freak’ Jade Michael’s is really starting to get on his nerve and that’s a hard task for anybody. She is dead set on bringing down Greek Row, elitists really, he’s never seen her in person and he doesn’t want to either cause he might just give her a piece of his mind? When they finally meet on stage during her rally, he wants to give her a piece alright, but not of his mind. He winds up giving everyone at the rally an eyeful.
Jade Michael’s is dead set on bringing those D.O.G.’s down, but when she sees Brett in the stage all she can think of is jumping his bones, but instead takes off to hide a wallow, how can her mortal enemy be her mate?
When they both realize that they are coyote shifters it makes a little sense, but not the part where he is day while she is night!
Sorry but here’s my broken record spouting off 😮 lol … WOW! Ms. Trettel has done it again! “Midnight Promise” is the 3rd book in the amazing ARC Shifters College & latest shifter stand-alone that’s kind of a spin-off from her other phenomenal series’ and IMHO deserves 6 stars! … I was hooked from the start & glued to my seat with this fresh, new storyline! Fantastic romance with suspense & likable characters that come to life & witty dialogue. Plus, great attention to detail that pulls the reader into the book! These are my honest feelings without any outside influences & I highly recommend this & all her shifter books to adult fans of fiction and I can’t wait for more, but I will 😉

Man, the ARC Shifter books just keep on getting better. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Jade and Brett. I loved how their looks and styles seem at complete odds with each other but they actually had no idea that they have so much in common. I thought it was cool how they actually got to know each other before claiming each other. I loved their rivalry but thought it was cool that they both learned to compromise since they needed to work out a middle ground of their view points as you only get one true mate and it hurts you to hurt them. I liked that even though Jade hated the whole Greek System and wanted to get rid of them all because of the humiliation Damon put her through inviting her to one the D.O.Gs dog party and she actually thought that he liked her but he was just took her as a joke so he could get into D.O.G fraternity she still gave them all a fair shot to actually get to know them properly. I found it funny how Jade thought she was the rebel because of how she acts/looks but Brett explained that she’s living up to the Coyote stereotype being a loner whereas Brett is more of a social butterfly and wants to make friends with everyone which is completely opposite to his Coyote so he’s the actual rebel. I liked that Jade got to see how much Damon has changed from the complete a*sehole who made her hate the Greek’s and Karis helped a lot with that. I loved how much of an awesome friend Kaitlyn is, I wonder why she doesn’t have many girls as friends and I’m really looking forward to reading her story when it’s released in October as she totally deserves to find her true mate. I’m looking forward to reading Jackson’s story next. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, Westin World Universe and author to everyone.
