A fast paced quick read that is engaging with relatable characters and good world building. I was given enough information to be intrigued and left wanting more. Excited for the next episode.
I was given an ARC at no cost to read and give my opinion. This book was GREAT! I can already tell the Spellcaster Academy series is going to be an excellent series. Magical Realism takes you on a ride to a world full of magic and excitement you won’t want to end. The ending of Magical Realism is left open for the next book, but it does not leave you with a cliff hanger! Yes, it leaves you wanting for more, but that’s only because the book is so good! It’s THAT good! Check it out…you will be so glad you did.
I love Jenetta’s story telling, her vivid imagination, her worlds her characters and this story does not let down! I very highly recommend it!
Josy grew up with her grandmother as a normal girl. When her grandmother dies, she is sent a letter to come live with a great aunt she knew nothing about. But this is really an invitation to a Magical Academy. Josy has no magic, can’t do spells, and the other students and faculty fear her because she has white hair which denotes being a Morelli, which means she has bad magic. I loved seeing how Josy was able to change a few students minds and see that she isn’t evil and has a good heart. And someone on the faculty is in her corner. But the Morelli want her powers. She must resist and learn to use her powers for good.
Cute, fast-paced, interesting start to a new series!
