Force of Nature Series by Kathi S. Barton boxed set, books 1 – 4. Set includes: Force of Nature, Force of the Dark Wolf, Force of Knight Magic and Untamed Force
Whether you’re reading this series for the first time or just want the boxset to add to your collection, Kathi S. Barton has combined the first four books of her “Force of Nature” series. They include:
1. FORCE OF NATURE
‘Force of Nature’ is the first book in Kathi S. Barton’s “Force of Nature” series and be prepared. This is a fast-paced storyline. I’ll admit, when I first started reading this book, I immediately wanted to hurt the Hero, Austin, badly. He was just eaten up with the open mouth, insert foot every time he would talk to CJ, and then when he did have a civil tone with her, he was so dictatorial it was unreal. Luckily, he had a few realizations along the way and became a better man. The banter was often quick and witty. The Force family are tight-knit and you have to love a momma with a wooden spoon 😉 All the chemistry, romance, drama, angst, and the ultimate good vs. evil are all here.
2. FORCE OF THE DARK WOLF
‘Force of the Dark Wolf’ is the second book in Kathi S. Baton’s “Force of Nature” series and it’s as fast-paced as the first book was. I read the blurb and was tickled over the kids and crazy aunts being mentioned but there’s a lot of dark in this book so don’t set your sights on light and comical. Werewolves, Vampires, rumors of Witches, and the last known pureblood shifter who can change into any animal at will, all fill the pages and make this an exciting adventure. The chemistry is off the chain between Gordon and Alexis but as we found out in the first book the sexual chemistry doesn’t always give them a lot of common sense, especially where the Force men are concerned. Thank goodness for strong female characters that can keep things on track.
3. FORCE OF KNIGHT MAGIC
‘Force of Knight Magic’ is book three of Kathi S. Barton’s “Force of Nature” series and the one I’ve been waiting for since the series started. This is the story of Phil, a vampire and CJ’s best friend, and Holly, the Force brothers’ baby sister and undercover assassin. What a game of chase combined with hide and seek this relationship took on, not because they didn’t know what each other was to themselves but because they did. Phill has known for at least five years that Holly was his mate. Holly knew the same thing but she also knew what she did for a living and that was a secret she had to keep … from all of them. Or did she? When Phil finds out that Austin always knows the general area Holly is in, he doesn’t know why or what she’s doing, Phil tracks her down and is in for a HUGE surprise. There are several of those in this storyline. Rouge vampires, a Vampire Council that needs shaking up, human policeman getting involved in murders that are unexplained, a government agency that doesn’t exist on paper or within any of the known acronyms and buried so deep it can never be found. This story was chilling and exciting, dark and filled with hope, and as always a set of fated mates filled with chemistry only they can have but we as readers are so excited to share with them. I was thrilled to see where this one went and anticipate ‘Untamed Force’ next.
4. UNTAMED FORCE
‘Untamed Force’ is Kathi S. Barton’s fourth book in her “Force of Nature” series and the momentum never stops. If you’ve been following the series, then you know Dallas is not only Austin’s twin but he’s the pack Enforcer. Stacy is the wolf who has come to the pack and swore allegiance to CJ but not Austin. Since Stacy has no scent, Dallas doesn’t realize she’s his mate, he just knows he wants her. Stacy has already been thrown out of her former pack and told she was barren because of her “deformity” so she continually pushes Dallas away. The entire Force family can see what’s going on and they have a plan to bring these two together. I love the camaraderie these brothers have and the tight-knit group the family has built, not only within their own ranks but with the pack as well. It’s a good thing too because there is evil lurking not five miles from the pack land and they’re going to need to be prepared with things bust loose. You don’t want to miss this one. We get the good vs evil battle in spades and the outcome was truly gratifying.
