All three novels and both Echo Trilogy novellas bundled together! Their love is destined to shatter the boundaries of time… a change within Lex, and her dreams become far too real. She sees things she shouldn’t be able to see…knows things she couldn’t possibly know. Terrifying things. Deadly things.
To distract her from the surreal changes taking over her life, Lex leaps at the chance to join an Egyptian excavation run by Oxford’s enigmatic Professor Marcus Bahur. But the distraction might be more than she bargained for. While deciphering the secrets of a mysterious stone tablet, Lex falls headlong into a prophecy created by a dying god over four millennia ago. She must rely on her frightening new psychic powers to dig up the truth. And it doesn’t take long for her visions to convince her that both Professor Bahur and his excavation are much more than they seem…

Lindsey Fairleigh is the best author I have read in beautifully and articulately combining time travel, prophecy, Egyptian mythology, and romance. And her research has to be top-notch from her thorough descriptions of the people and their lifestyles and homes during the many different periods of Egyptian history she covers in her works. This “trilogy” set includes three novels and two novellas–a totally awesome deal!
I was drawn into these novels from the starting chapter and couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. After Lex’s introduction to Marcus, there’s no way to stop reading, and the characters introduced throughout the remainder of the series–Nuin, Dominic, Nik, Aset–become valuable to Lex’s survival. If there was anything I could change, it would be a longer and more drawn-out ending to the third novel. There were a few questions in my mind, though this is a complete series.
I would definitely recommend you read this wonderful, often heart-scorching series so it will also take your breath away and make you wonder if Nejerets could actually be possible!
I started the first book, but about 50 pages in, I had to bail. UGH! I’m sure there is a “deep” explanation for what Lex is going through, but it just seems like drama for drama’s sake. Not going to waste more time on what is obviously not “my cup of tea.”
Get this ! Great read
I’ve always been fascinated by all things Egyptian, so when I ran across this trilogy I immediately downloaded it. I very much enjoyed watching Lex as she came into her own. The characters are interesting and the plot full of surprises. The author touches on time travel, mythology, and the next great love story. I enjoyed it so much I immediately moved on to her Kat Dubois Chronicles when I finished with these. (Which were also amazing, by the way, but that’s for another review!)
The majority of these book plots were good reading and overall it was a very unrealistic book series, yet interesting. There is some unexpectedly strong violent content some readers will not wish to encounter.
I absolutely loved the first and second books in this series…the third, sadly, not as much due to the focus being divided among other characters. We started out following two main characters in the first book and then, without warning, the pod switches to prepare for the spring off series. Not a fan. Still, I loved the series concept and the story overall, and found it wonderfully exciting to read a fantasy romance based in one of my favorite mythological universes!
Not enough words to describe how amazing this series is as a whole. Phenomenal research to bring Egyptian mythology to life in a very creative story. Loved it. Highly recommend
This series was interesting and fast paced supernatural action
Loved this series
Couldn’t spot reading
This is the first trilogy in a series of books about the Nejerets who are near immortals descended (and some originals) from the ancient gods of Egypt. If you like Egyptian mythology, action and romance you will love these books. I devoured them.
I loved this series. Unable to put down.
