One of many great novels created by Tony Hillerman. His books offer three great features:
1. You learn about the Navajo and other Southwestern cultures.
2. Description and action in the scenery of the area.
3. The mysteries are unpredictable.

This book was a little slow and dull for me .
Classic Tony Hillerman–nothing more to say. All his books are worth reading. Educational and entertaining.
Interesting plot lines with engaging characters. Hillerman gives non-natives insight into the Navajo culture without being pretentious or demeaning. I’ve enjoyed every book in this series.
