Domination is book two in the Explicitly Yours Series.
After submitting to a millionaire for a night, Lola Winters’ dreams are suddenly within grasp—until she discovers Beau Olivier’s money doesn’t go as far as she’d thought. As unexpected costs appear and her relationship is tested, Lola begins to question what she really wants.
Lola knows she can solve her problems with one phone call, but … phone call, but she may risk going too far to have it all. Because she’s not dealing with just anyone—Beau Olivier is a master. For Beau, there’s no such thing as too far. There is only conquest. There is only victory.
Beau already possessed Lola’s mind, body, and soul for a night, but it wasn’t enough. Like Lola, he wants more than he got. But the more they have…the more there is to lose.

Book 2 begins with Lola returning from her night with Beau. She faces Johnny who was asleep when she got home. Now that they have $1M Johnny makes an offer on the bar that takes up most of that money leaving little for rent, marketing, renovating or other improvements to make the bar a success.
Johnny is suddenly acting like a millionaire when Lola “earned” the money and is trying to be responsible about spending it and setting up the new business. It looks like the $1M isn’t going to be bough so she tells Johnny Beau wanted another night with her.
Long story short, the second night happens and a few things I suspected came to light. Book 2 ends with Lola being told to “get out” and go back to her house with Johnny.
Greed and lust are the two deadliest sins that Jessica explores with gay abandon in book 2 of Explicitly Yours series.
Let me just say, Johnny is a cretin, a worm and I’d strangle him if Jess let me.
Phew!! And now Beau. He is shining a little at the start but by the book ends I’M NOT LIKING HIM AT ALL
And Bridgette too, she’s evil!
My heart broke for Lola.
Hopeful and awakened at the start of the book, like a boat coming into moor, broken and desperate is how she’s left at the end. A rudder less boat left to rock in the sea, vulnerable to all the elements.
I’m super pissed at men of the world!!
**Sigh** but Christian Fox’s voice is soooooo dreamy
5 stars but I ain’t happy
Jessica Hawkins second book in the Explicitly Yours series explores what happens when her characters begin to have feelings for each other. Lola Winters doesn’t regret the evening Beau Oliver paid $1 million for her company. In fact, she can’t stop thinking about him. She is so obsessed, that when her partner begins to frivolously spend their earnings, she requests a second night with the billionaire.
What happens between them may change them forever. This is a fast paced, sexy read. The tension between the characters is sensuous and lusty.
A fun read!
I am so in love with this series. Domination is the second book in the Explicitly Yours series. It was just as amazing, if not more, than the first book. The characters and plot have got me sucked in so deep and I don’t ever want out!
Loved it
3 might be too generous
It is an odd read, that is part of the appeal too, not a typical romance. But is also too odd and I just cannot get into it enough to purchase a few more pages.
I have always attempted to give ‘star’ ratings on my completed reads, just as a tracking method for my titles that I have completed. I have unlimited packages for audio, kindle, and utilize the local/state library.
However, I do not check the ‘I recommend this book’ unless I am willing to reread a book and or a series.
[I read about 5-15 books a month through kindle, and I listen to about 15-30 books monthly]
I have a full life as a nurse, professor, wife, daughter [daughter in law], sister, and mother. I love to read and love a thousand other lives by turning the pages in countless books.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide a review. Happy reading 🙂
