International bestseller James Herbert’s Fluke follows a stringy mongrel, wandering the streets of the city, driven by a ravenous hunger and hunting a quarry he could not define. But he was something more. Somewhere in the depths of his consciousness was a memory clawing its way to the surface, tormenting him, refusing to let him rest. The memory of what he had once been. A man . . .
I lover this book because of the naïve, but still great idea behind the book, coupled with Herbert’s great prose, which leave you wanting for more.
An absolutely amazing insightful story! What a pleasure to read! Brilliant idea! I loved everything about this story! Be warned it did make me cry! A truly excellent read!
One of Mr. Herbert’s most original books. Life as seen from a man reincarnated into a dog.
Loved it!
Fabulously dark thriller!
