Craving her was wrong… losing her was a necessity. What we had was real, but it’s over. Ancient history. She was under my skin, but I was under her dad’s roof.He warned me to stay away, but I couldn’t. We risked everything and I lost it all, to protect us both. Now I’m empty, and it’s all too clear what’s missing. Or, rather, who. None of the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside … the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside my shattered heart.
That belongs to one person alone. My “step-sister.”
I never gave up hope that we’d get our second chance.
One phone call changes everything, and I’m about to claim what’s rightfully mine.
Losing the Forbidden is the emotional second installment of Tracy Lorraine’s new spinoff trilogy of her Falling series.

This is a hard emotional book to read with Ben and Lauren who are step siblings that fall in love with each other but her father forces him to leave for six years he stays away until her father dies and Ben comes home to a hostile Lauren who hates him and the company his family started in shambles.

This story is AMAZING!
OMG! Ben and Lauren’s story continues. It’s been 6 years since Ben left. Six years with no contact yet his feelings for Lauren never changed. Not sure Lauren would stay the same. Ben wants to claim what’s his, his company and his girl but there’s a whole lot of fixing that needs to be done for both. If only Lauren didn’t push back and fight it. I’m lost until the final chapter for these two comes out. I can’t wait. The waiting is sweet torture.
Lauren’s father dies and Ben comes home to attend the funeral. He finds his mother is glad he is back and Lauren hates him and has moved on with another man even though she has slept with him twice since he came back. The book ends on a cliffhanger. I gave 3.5 stars because this book was a short quick read and could have concluded the story instead of drawing it out to a third book. The cliffhanger comes at 80% of the book them give a excerpt of the two Falling for Ryan books to generate enthusiasm for the series.

Has Ben lost Lauren?
This is my tenth book by Tracy and I love the Forbidden series. Upon his stepdad’s death, Ben is troubled over returning home to see his Mom but especially Lauren who has never left his heart or staying where he created a new life for himself after being forced to leave his home 6 years prior by his stepdad. It’s clear that the connection between Ben and Lauren is still there, but Lauren has moved on with her life after being devastated when Ben left with no word. Will Lauren let Ben back in her life or close the door on him? You have to read to find out and am hoping the next book in the series is out soon!
Love the cliffhanger in this book. After being forced away from the person he loves, he has to fight for her now. While fighting for her, he loses her. Some losses are hard to let go of. She hasn’t let go in her heart but needs to do what she needs to do for her sanity. I’m sure she is hurting but she should think real hard on what she wants at this point in her life. She needs that time for her. Hope she chooses right.

If it is forbidden doesn’t that make you want it more? Good romance. He wanted to stay away; but he could not.. Is this his second chance?

This is the continuation of the drama and romance between Ben and his forbidden love, Lauren. We are now six years after their romance began, Ben is back home after his stepfather’s passing on. He has never gotten over Lauren and now is trying to win her back but unfortunately he hurt her to much back then to win her back so easily. There is still plenty of drama and emotion for this couple to never have a chance.
Another wonderful fast-paced novella, you have to read the previous book first.

Excellent!
This is Ben and Lauren’s second book and sadly, it does end on a cliff hanger. This is such a heart wrenching book with tons of heat. We discover where Ben went after the events of book one and how he lived. Now he is returning home but it wont be easy in any way shape or form. He still loves Lauren and it seems that she has moved on. Can Ben accept this? If not how will he win her back? Can’t wait for book 3!!

I normally never write reviews. This author is amazing and the second book in the series is more amazing than the first. The main couple is older now — the timeline is set 6 years later. Ben and Lauren have issues to resolve (do not want to give too much away) but the longing is there. Would love to see their HEA now, but if the author maintains this romantic intensity, it will be worth the wait!

This was a hard book to read as it was so strong with emotions and determination! This is only the 2nd book the series but it feels like so much longer! This book actually had me going from one end to the other with my emotions. If you want to feel things from elation, to sad, to angry, you MUST READ this!

I’ve been chomping at the bit for the second instalment of Ben and Lauren’s story, but this was bittersweet. It is the second book but not the final one, which means we were never going to get our happily ever after, not yet anyway. We don’t know how it will turn out.
This part of the story picks up on BJ down in Devon, where we know him from the other Falling books. It is set six years after the first book, and we get to see the aftermath of him walking away from Lauren and breaking her heart. He has to face has past and own up to walking away. Will Lauren forgive him, or has she moved on?
This is a very emotional part to the story and left me feeling very sad especially as I had in the back of my mind the entire time that this wasn’t the end of the story and they wouldn’t be walking off into the sunset together. This made it quite hard to read, but not in a poorly written book kind of way. More of a tough going emotionally sort of way! It was very well-written that it drew these emotions out of me!
It was lovely to have cameos from Liam, Liv, Declan and Nicole that we met in previous books, I do like all these intertwining characters. I’m going to be gutted after the next book when it is over for good!
The book finished way too quickly, and I am now left drumming my fingers impatiently waiting for the final instalment.

I really enjoyed this story. However I never realized it is the second book in I believe a three book series. It does end on a cliffhanger which really bothered me. I’m not sure when the next book is due out but I really hope that Ben can get his happily ever after. I think something is up with Joe and he isn’t really Lauren’s boyfriend, but only time will tell. The book was well written and all from Bens point of view. I definitely recommend it and I had no problem following the story, though I didn’t read the first book in this series.

I just can’t get over this ending. UGH! This book contains three things I hate…cheating, cliffhanger, and a sad ending. But Tracy Lorraine writes so well that I have to give it three stars vs one or two because of the cheating. It is such a trigger for me. The cheating is not covered up, so there’s that.
The emotional upheaval I have would normally receive five stars! My heart is aching…physically…and I cannot wait for book three! I so love all these characters. So if cliffhangers and sad endings are a cause to cringe…just wait to get all three books before reading, then dive in!

Awesome second book in this trilogy.
Quick note: Please be sure to read the first book in this trilogy, Falling for the Forbidden, before reading this book. It gives you the history of Lauren and Ben and you will need it to understand the storyline.
With everything Ben put Lauren through six years ago she’s is just trying to move on. Unfortunately with the passing of her father, Ben is thrust back into her life once more. There are still so many unresolved feelings between these two and they ignite every time they get close to each other. This is a great second book in this trilogy and I’m looking forward to reading book three, Fighting for the Forbidden.
