Tim Dorsey’s books, while not fine literature by any stretch, are hilarious and irreverent. You have the protagonist Serge, who is the only recorded case of self-inflicted shaken-baby syndrome. If you’re a fan of Carl Hiaasen, you will enjoy this crazy adventure in a Tampa suburb. I read this on the recommendation of a friend and it didn’t disappoint. I only wish I had started at book 1 in the series. If you like oddball humor, this is your kind of book.
Love this series. First time I stumbled onto one of the Serge books, I had a little difficulty with the premise, then…I couldn’t get enough.
Tim Dorsey is insane. He’s certifiable.
