Her Fake, Irish Husband – It’s OK, not my typical reading material but it is set in Ireland, enuff said. This is my first read by this author and I enjoyed the book.
The storylines are well written and interesting. The characters are likeable and realistic, and their dialogues believable. Humor dances throughout the pages.
The descriptions of the manor, the village and Ireland are so clear; it is like being there in person. This is a feel good read and I hope to read the rest of the series. I did have a problem with the over use of the earl, which should have been the Earl; it felt like name-dropping. 4*
Her Fake, Irish Husband by Michele Brouder is an awesome story to read. This is book number two in this awesome series that I can not get enough writen by a brand new author for me to read. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about contemporary, sweet and Holiday romances in their stories.

I fell over and over again in love the more I read. You can just feel how they started to feel for each other as you are reading the book. Rachel definitely stood her ground and made sure that her point was heard and to not cower back like she usually was reserved. I am enticed to read what comes next.

Fake relationships are one of my favorite tropes so this book as just perfect for me. This is Rachel and Thomas I liked these two they were great characters and I enjoyed getting to know them. This is the second book in the series and is just as good as the first I would recommend it
What a lovely novel. This is the first book I read from the author and I want to state, what a pleasure it was to read this work. The two main characters, Thomas Yates, aka, Lord Glenbourne and Rachel Parker an American, were impeccably described and developed and it was really easy to look into each of their personalities and therefore understand their actions. She is a natural born problem-solver and that is exactly what the earl needs. She has one week to find a wife for the earl or he’ll lose his Irish estate that was in his family for hundreds of years. Naturally one week isn’t enough and Rachel takes on the role in order to help her friend financially. The idea of fake wives or husbands to maintain a financial hold on one’s inheritance is not new but this book has a kind of natural, fresh approach to the plot. Rachel’s life philosophy and approach to people allows her to ease into life as Lady Glenbourne is so effortlessly that she leaves a lasting impression even with the villagers. She injects a much needed flexibility and people skills into running such an estate. The slowly growing affection and respect between our heroes is very well presented and Rachel’s personality is spot on for the role as lady of the manor. Thomas finally realises that and we are rewarded with a HEA. This is a very well edited, charming, heart-warming, clean romance which will give you hours of reading pleasure.

Rachel Parker is a problem solver for an international company and she’s pretty sure she can solve any problem thrown her way.
Thomas Yates, who happens to be the 12th Earl of Glenbourne in Ireland has a problem that needs a solution. The problem is he needs to be married by his next birthday, which is in a week, or he will lose his inheritance. So he decides to hire an international problem solver to come up with a solution.
Rachel to the rescue as she is sure she can fix his problem as well as help a good friend at the same time. As they are working to solve his problem, they begin having feelings for each other. Will Rachel be the solution to the Earl’s problem? A fun and enjoyable read to add to your summer reading list.

A true romance, clean and wholesome!
by sewsummore
This was a true romance, clean and wholesome with wonderful characters that came alive within the pages of this story. Sometimes what we really need is the one thing you least expect and this was what had happened to Rachel and Thomas. Married first and then getting to know one and other, their strengths and weaknesses, their hopes and dreams. In a world where sex seems to make the world go round, getting to know the person you fall in love before falling into bed with them seems outdated but sometimes the old ways are the best ways after all.

The second book in the Escape to Ireland series a well written story that held my interest until the end. Rachel Parker is a problem solver for Bixby International so when Thomas Yates, the 12th Earl of Glenbourne, needs a wife in less than a week so she says she will do it on her conditions. I found myself laughing at somethings in the book and at other times going why don’t you just talk to each other. I enjoyed reading this story. I wonder if there is going to be more books in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Could I temporarily marry someone in name only for a million dollars? Rachel didn’t even make that decision for herself, but to help out her friend and I admired how she continued to put others first throughout the book. I didn’t like Thomas at first. He came off as rude and standoffish, but her generosity and thoughtfulness softened him. It sounds so romantic and the stuff of historical romances marrying a lord and become a lady of the manor, but there were a lot of rules and I wouldn’t have wanted to deal with the press commenting on my every movement. I loved Thomas’ Irish wolfhound Max and banoffee pie sounds pretty yummy. There were plenty of funny, some suspenseful and anxious, and sweet romantic moments in this Irish romance.
Thomas Yates has to be married before his next birthday or he will loose his family holdings in Ireland and one more thing He is the 12th Earl of Glenbourne. So he seeks out Bixby International to solve his problem it has to be kept completely quite know one can no the reason for his sudden marriage andcits only 3 months.
Rachel Parker is Bixby International best employee and problem solver but this time she may be in over her head. How is she going to solve the Earl’s problem well offer herself as his new wife and it will really help a friend out she desperately needs money to help her husband who suffered a terrible accident.
Rachel and Thomas wed and she goes to Ireland to pretend to be his wife she loves the village and the people in it. But her new husband is stogie and he has a rather rude opinion of her thinking her plain and not worth a second look. Some of the estate’s staff are cold and rude as well but Rachel doesn’t give up easily soon she wins over the staff now if her husband would stop being so restrained.
Thomas doesn’t no how to take his new wife she has invaded his space taken his dog Max from him but he starts to see her in a new light even begins to want there marriage to be real but how can he ask her to stay when she misses her family so much.
Rachel doesn’t want to leave but Thomas hasn’t shown he wants her to stay. Will Thomas realize he made a mistake in letting Rachel go. This was a really sweet romance both Thomas and Rachel grow he learns to open up she begins to be more adventurous and take risks.

If there are ever 2 people who have a void in their lives to fill and don’t realize it until it is forced on them, this story has them. Although they had a rocky start, Rachel and Thomas make a great couple, and it’s a beautiful read seeing them falling for each other. There are also some laugh out loud moments to bring a little comedy in the mix. This is a very nice clean romance for when you need an uplifting story.
This was my first book from this author. I loved Thomas and Rachels characters. They started out not thinking to much of each other. With their fake marriage, their interactions and bantering with one another they started having feelings. It made for a very fun read, I will definitely be following this author and reading more of her books!
