This was a bit different than I thought it would be. I try not to start a book with any expectations but I was so excited after reading this blurb! It didn’t disappoint but it didn’t hit the high mark I was hoping. My fault really because I think my high mark is going to come into play in the second book not this first one. Adora is naive, and I try to stay away from those because I like my girls spicy. I’m hoping she transforms into one. I’m going to read the second book when it comes out!
Overall: 4/5

This was a good book. It seemed more like a great introduction to the series, an what will be coming in the books. I like Adora, and the other characters we got to know. The storyline seems well thought out. I am hoping to learn more about the other characters in the next book. I liked the premise, and am looking forward to the next one.
Great start to the series. Well written with great characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I recommend reading.

Mystery and Adora is a wild child. She gets nosey in her that Aunts house and comes across a book, than all of a sudden she is granted admission into a school. What is this mystery? Who I’m I really? What did I do? Why are the girls so mean to me? What are these feelings I’m having toward people?

Raven’s Blood Academy by Scarlette D’Noire is the first book in this series. This book focuses on the introduction of a new student named Adora who is dropped off by her aunt at a hotel close to the new school Raven’s Blood Academy she will be attending. This book does a great job introducing the new world that Adora will soon be a part of for the rest of her life. I really enjoyed how the mystery built in this book until the very end. The characters are all very interesting and the plot involves intrigue between the nice students Adora meets and those who seem out to do her harm. I loved reading this book and look forward to reading the next one in this new series. Raven’s Blood Academy is an intriguing mix of the paranormal and magical.
Adora was a normal teen until she wasn’t. Encouraging her aunt to let her go to Ravens Academy to realize her potential, she finds out her new life would be more hrs than she realized. Fun and interesting characters with an intriguing storyline.

This is a good book. It has mystery, intrigue and keeps you wanting to read more to see what happens. You meet the main character Adore Jackson. She is homeschooled and does not have a lot of social skills. She is raised by her Aunt who seems to be strict. Leave it to Adore who is NOSY! Well that trait alone lands her with an invitation to Raven Blood Academy. So she is excited about this invitation and uncle ems her Aunt. Then she heads out to school for the summer session. She meets a few people there and thinks they are weird. something happens to her and now she is given some truths. Then every thing she has encountered has started to make sense for her. Now she is ready to attend the Academy. This is a great start for this series and can’t wait to see what happens.
Adora Jackson has always thought she was pretty normal, until the day she decides to snoop in her aunt’s closet. At the back of the closet she finds a secret room and an old grimoire, she figures out how to open the book and finds and invitation addressed the herself. She insists her aunt let her attend Raven’s Blood Academy, the sender of the invitation. Her first day hasn’t even ended and she is ready to call it quits.
Wow. Fascinating, well written, and unique characters. A plot with a variety of paranormal creatures, some bullying, a little excitement and the mystery of Ador’s parentage. I couldn’t put it down, great book.

This was a great short read. Adora had been sheltered her whole life. When she snopes in her aunt’s closet, her world changes drastically. She is accepted to a special school to figure out who she is. Who she is was a surprise, and I can’t wait to read the next one.

This part of the story sucked me in. Adora is frustratingly naive, but good to the core making her an extremely likable character. The supporting characters are a mystery at this point, but so far have proved to be an interesting edition to the story. Because this is only the first installment, we only got a small taste of her story and this world at Raven’s blood. I am looking forward to more from this series.

This first book was a good start and holds a lot of promise for the future. The start is a little weird and I almost didn’t get past the first few chapters but perserverance is worth it as the book starts to develop and is quite intreigng as we learn more.

This book was really good . Adora a nosey but sweet girl stumbles onto her aunts grimoire and gets accepted to Ravens’ Blood Academy. she gets there and meets a lot of intriguing people. When something bad happens she has to hang on because being at Ravens’ Blood is the only thing that will help her to find out who and what she really is. Also I can’t wait for book 2
