I liked this book because it was excellent.
“The Billionaire’s Rival” (nook) is a great HEA. I enjoyed the development of the love story between Charles and Rosslyn. I actually rate the book as 4-1/2 stars.
When I finished the book, I was left with a few questions. What was the significance of the intimate pictures of Charles and Rosslyn since Uncle Max was dead? Why did she not tell him about them?
What happened with Liz and Sam? Was she re-hired by Grayson Corp. What happened to the company between the death of Uncle Max and Rosslyn inheriting?
In Chapter 6 as well as in Chapter 9 Gareth reveals to Charles that their dad had a sister. Can’t be news twice to them.
Minor error in Chapter12 that Charles and Rosslyn are returning to Boston rather than New York City.
In spite of my cons, I recommend “The Billionaire’s Rival.”
I have enjoyed this series very much.
Loved the book and am looking forward to reading the stories of the other brothers.
Secrets and lies take a toll on the lives of the main characters in this book. Can a compromise be reached or are drastic measures called for.
Love can overcome many obstacles be but sometimes intervention from the Almighty is even more effective.
Enjoyed it!
Enjoyed reading of love and happily ever after!
The characters are so lovable you can’t help but root for them to get together. Their love developed so fast, however, it was a little unrealistic and the ending felt rushed. All in all, though, this is an enjoyable read.
A modern day Romeo and Juliet romance without the tragedy. Characters that are engaging in a setting that is rich with detail. This story is told by a writer who thoroughly understands how to weave a good tale.
Great read, I enjoyed every page
Love this writer. .great writer.
Good book
Very interesting read. A couple of plot twists, and unexpected ending.
Fantastic, unpredictable book.
Interesting storyline… although the poor person and rich person remains questionably believable … some good twists (one unresolved) … some hot sex scenes … longer each time. A couple of laugh out louds.
This is the first book in Jeanette Winters new series, The Blank Check. I Loved Rosslyn and Charles/Charlie’s story. They were so perfect together and their chemistry was explosive. They were from opposite worlds but were so compatible. Things got a little complicated and deceptive at times since she was the niece of his biggest rival. It was a beautiful, tender love story and ends without a major cliffhangers. But since it’s a series we’re given hints that to what might develop in the future with the Henderson’s and the company she inherited via her grandfather’s will. A great beginning to what is going to be a great series. Well developed characters and an entertaining story.
The story is passable. There are continuity and story errors that I’ve noticed, e.g. the city where it takes place (New York vs. Boston) and at least one paragraph that had action/description that was contradictory to an earlier paragraph.
Boring, too typical and unrealistic. Read it before, another time another author.
