All it will take is a kiss…

more
This novel was filled with more that just a romance set against a background of musicians. There is a lot of angst in this story, along with subterfuge, manipulation and shredded loyalties. The characterizations were detailed and clearly portrayed each character as a plausible individual you might come across in your life. The pathos were well portrayed and indeed, did wring out a lot of emotion from this reader. A complex telling of the three main personalities with another novel to follow in this series. Ms. Andersen captured my attention in this novel, so as to want to obtain the next book in this series and see what else happens to some of these people.
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
Well I didn’t know this was third in series but honestly did not matter because this was smoking!! We have a triangle and normally I am not a fan and especially when they have sibling involved but this one, yeah could not get enough!!

Finding the Melody in your life
Melody is the third book int the Beautiful series by Lilliana Anderson. In this book the author has once again shown how well she can weave together a tale from start to finish with great characters and a very interesting story-line.
Naomi is a talented violinist who goes back home to Australia after having moved to London. She crosses paths with brothers Marcus and Theo who she had gone to school with. Marcus and Theo have a rock band that has taken off and as such these two are sexy as all heck but in different ways. But there are several other men that also want Naomi and she must figure out what she wants and who. Naomi does end up in a love triangle with Marcus and Theo after she joins their band, even with a no fraternization rule in place. Like that would ever stop a sexy rock god from pursuing the girl he wants.
I really enjoyed reading Melody with all of its twists and interesting turns in the story. Naomi really does end up going on a journey after she moves back home, proving that sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
It’s been a while since I’ve read Lilliana’s amazing work. I really loved this book. Rock stars, strong female , love triangle, small surprise, hotttt!! Can’t wait to read more from this talented writer.
This book was absolutely captivating I could not put it down!! I loved these characters!! Lilliana has knocked it out of the park again!!
Naomi has a talent that no other has. Naomi was drugged at a party, causing her to behave as she would never have in her right mind. The two of these combine to alter her life forever. 2 brothers woven into her past, weave into her future, creating “Melody.” A re-write that answers so many questions, satisfies those unfinished thoughts from the original.
I felt the re-write was SOOO much better than the original – and I LOVED the original! Naomi grabbed my heart but Theo grabbed my attention! He was smoking hot, smoldering mischievous, and totally alpha. Marcus was spoiled and at some point in the middle of the book, I began to feel sorry for him! YES, I felt sorry for him!
Without spoiling the story for other readers, Naomi will fascinate you with her musical talent and her ability to distance herself from her emotions in order to handle what needs to be handled. She is thrown into a very compromising situation between Theo and Marcus when they realize their band could use her talents. As the only girl in the band, a rule has been set: “No fraternizing.” Really? Yeah – like that is going to work! Naomi forces the issue with the band members and finds a way to do what she does best with her violin! So much so that she finds herself totally impressing another band to the point where her band is allowed to further their dreams! Unfortunately, things get a little sticky as this unfolds. Hang on, you will love the ride that Lilliana Anderson takes you on in “Melody.” Outstanding Character development, Edge of your seat suspense and tears of joy.

The great storyline and the wonderful characters left me in total awe throughout the entire book! I look forward to reading more from this author!
This is book three in the Beautiful Book series. I have read each book in the series so far and would recommend picking them. These books contain such wonderful characters with amazing stories to tell. Their stories have so much emotion and just pull you in from the beginning. This book is no different. We have Marcus and Theo Bailey and Naomi. The characters went to high school together where Marcus plays guitar, Naomi plays violin and Theo was the strange goth kid who went by another name. Now fast forward a few years and Marcus and Theo ask Naomi to join their reasonably successful rock band. These band members are struggling with the professional lines, both brothers want to cross into personal territory with Naomi. But she cannot decide which brother she wants. Can she have both? What if things don’t work out? What will happen to the band? If she chooses one brother over the other then what? Hang on to your hats readers as you are in for another great ride to finding out what the author has in store for our characters! Can they find HEA?

I need to make this very clear…I’m not sure what my feelings are for this book. The characters and story are impeccable, there is so much hurt being thrown around.I suppose that’s what makes this so good, I hate the way the 3 protagonists treat each other, but I can’t stop wanting them to get what they want.

What an emotional read, I really did not expect it to be as good as the previous book in the series but my God colour absolutely and happy surprised.
Usually with such big books I drag reading them out but the as the story unfolded, I could not put it down, as the chemistry, love triangle and mystery was so addictive.
Absolutely loved it and can’t wait for Marcus story

A heartachingly, angsty great read.
Well, just wow. This book sure puts it’s characters through the ringer and it dragged me through too. I’d not even felt in the right frame of mind to read a ‘straight contemporary’ romance. So colour my surprised when within a couple of chapters I wasn’t wanting to put this one down. This is one emotion filled stand alone read.
Whilst I guessed Theo’s secret fairly early on, there are also plenty of clues and hints made before it is revealed and the ‘surprise’ element isn’t necessary anyway. Personally I prefer knowing in advance because I love that feeling I get waiting for the big ‘Ta-da’ moment. I also appreciated that it wasn’t dragged out a ridiculous length of time in the book. I’ve read much poorer quality stories where the ‘big secret’ is the entire plot and you spend the whole book waiting for the reveal – I find those stories to be rather pointless. (Indeed, plot-less might be a more accurate description.)
Whilst technically this is a love triangle, there is absolutely no cheating or sharing (I’m aware many readers have an intense dislike of either) and the situation only becomes sexual once a choice has been made. So in many ways this could be classed as slow-burn but there are enough scenes of sexual chemistry and tension to keep things interesting.
The book is written 1st person, from all three main characters view point, allowing you to really get a feel for them. Neither guy is easy to like from his actions alone, but when you are ‘inside their head’, so to speak, you see the motivation and reasons behind it. This allowed me to connect with them on a much more emotional and personal level. I definitely had a preference for one of the brothers and admit to checking out who was the hero of the next book – yes I was one of those people who used to read the last few pages of a paperback once I got into a story.
The sign of a good book for me is not admitting it’s too late into the night to still be reading. This book definitely ticked that box. So I’m only too happy to recommend this wonderful, full of feels, contemporary romance.
****Included at the back is the story of Katrina and David’s wedding. They are the couple from book #1. This story also contains spoilers for book #2. ****
Poor Naomi is stuck in a triangle with 2 brothers Theo & Marcus. One connection is deep the other more of a crush/lust. Theo is the glue in their group, quieter, artistic, selfless whereas Marcus is the frontman womaniser & very self centred. She’s known at least Marcus in her younger years & Naomi is the missing link to their success. She’s an accomplished musician, singer & plays by ear. Initially Theo is obnoxious towards & she doesn’t know why. Of course all is revealed as to his identity but I kinda guessed that as the book progressed.
Let’s just say this oozes angst but the good kind. Being YA it’s not immature in the dialogue either so that’s a plus for me. Well I don’t think Marcus deserved Naomi, he just so full of himself & a real pain. I adored Theo most of the time. I imagine this would be good for a bookclub discussion as to the pros & cons of our protagonists.
I won’t divulge anymore as you need to experience the tale for yourself & decide who you think Naomi deserves.

I thoughly enjoyed this book about how Naomi always seemed to be that girl. You know the one where she always seemed to be the girl who is attracted to the man who wants to be with her best friend.
Even in school when she was intrigued by one guy, however captivated by another.
Naomi returns home to Australia after being in London to start over.
When a chance get together puts Theo and Marcus back in her life. What she doesn’t remember is that was she thought happened didn’t and what she never wanted did.
Now she finds herself between having it all or nothing.
A truly beautiful read and well worth reading.
This is a well written story, these characters had me stock to this book from he first page. Highly recommend this story.
*5 Stars*

The third book in the newly revamped Beautiful Series by Lilliana Anderson, this one is about Naomi, who we have previously met in Elliots novel.
I was instantly intrigued by this one, because she likes two brothers, even though love triangle stories aren’t always my faves. I liked Naomi right from the start, however sometimes I did want to smack some sense into her for the way it felt like she was leading on so many people.
Apart from Theo and Marcus, we also have one more guy come into the mix, and so Naomi has more guys than she knows what to do with.
I loved that Naomi has found her passion for music again, and I love the way she interacts with Theo. He was my favourite from the get-go in this one, #TeamTheo all the way!
I really really disliked Marcus. Boy oh boy did I want to knock him out something fierce. Lilliana has wonderfully written such an unlikable character in him. He’s the complete opposite of Theo in so many ways, and I just really didn’t find myself liking him, or feeling for him at all. He’s a very immature character to me.
By the end, a whole bunch of surprises are thrown our way, and things turn out kind of the way you expect. I really look forward to reading the next in the series, to see how things turn out for the other brother (I won’t spoil anything, so I’m not saying who haha.)
After you finish the main novel in this, we also get a novella, and it was totally unexpected for me, as its about Katrina and David. It was really fun to return to their world and revisit some of the previous characters we have grown to love. The storyline was really sweet and fun, and I was a little happy emotional by the end of it.
Looking forward to more of this series for sure.
I had somehow missed this book when it was originally released at A Beautiful Melody, so it was good going in with fresh eyes.
I have to say, at each and every turn in this story I was frustrated with at least one of our main character, brothers Marcus and Theo, and our leading lady Naomi (whom you would have met if you have read book 2, Forever).
Oy, these boys. I am so conflicted. I 95% of the time dislike Marcus, but then there is that 5% where he is all swoony. But man, is he an arrogant ar$e most of the time. I could get the bad boy attraction that Naomi had, then he would something that made me all “screw you, sunshine!”
Then Theo runs so hot and cold, and I am not sure if I like him or not at times. Though I am #TeamTheo most of the book.
My heart hurts for Naomi as she is stuck in the middle of this tug of war between Marcus and Theo – no, there is no cheating, in case you were wondering! – and I wanted to walk out of the situation on her behalf, flicking them both the bird as I left hahah
I am really liking the reread of this rereleased series, and now am looking forward to Rock hitting my kindle soon.
Let me start by saying rockstars are my kryptonite, then add in the fact that one of my all time favorite authors was writing a rockstar book.
Yeah, I may have been a little excited.. And let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint me.
The Bailey brothers are sex on a stick, I think I may have even muttered the words “I wanna lick em up and down like a popsicle in summer” at one point.
This book had my interest piqued from the very beginning with a storyline that kept me reading , and has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster.
Well done Ms Anderson, you’ve scored another 5 star’er from me.
