Well worth reading!
A very well written Panther Alien romance book 3 in the Alien Guardians of Earth Series with well constructed characters. These characters are witty and sarcastic but they love with strength. Aliens or not, expectant dads are not so different worlds over. What is different is when your wife is a blade host, who goes on a dangerous mission while expecting twins. There is humor and action/suspense in the book. A must read

This is a fantastic story! I loved every minute of it. I have enjoyed this series from the beginning. I love reading about Sugar, Axel and their family. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next in the story. Sugar is ready to have their babies and the fourth Blade needs help. She has her babies before going to help the fourth Blade and its host. Axel stays with their babies waiting for his wife to come back. Will everything work out for this family?

The third book in the series called Alien Guardians of Earth a well written story, with a good storyline. Dr. Sugar Jennings, the host of a Protector Blade and Prince Axel of Rodu a Panther shifter their children Khalid/Kha and Athena who shift early mainly, then there is Gina and Lake Allen Wright, Rodu and Nyomi, Marta and Reva the Creator. There is suspense, drama, danger, evil, and love. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the last book of this fast-paced series. The author’s use of humor was excellent. Dr. Sugar Jennings, the host of a Protector Blade, is almost ready to have her twins. Prince Axel of Rodu, her alien panther mate, is a typical dad-to-be which is part of the fun.
When the fourth and final blade sends out a call for help, Sugar must lead the other blades on the rescue mission as the Creator Blade and its host are on the run. With the help of the many supporting characters, they bring answers to the questions and provide closure. If you haven’t read the other books before this one, you may want to backtrack and take care of that so that you don’t miss the final details in this one!
I enjoyed this fast paced, action adventure romance. They find the last blade and I’m glad some of the loose ends are tied up from the previous book. This is an engaging and fun story. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I want to a say this was a good conclusion to the series, but I felt like there was a hint of more stories to come even if it doesn’t include these characters.
Sugar, Lake and Rodu find out some hard truths about the Lyran’s protection of Earth. Leaving is the only choice they think they have to keep Earth and the Creator blade safe
Reva Hunter is visiting Angkor Wat when she hears a female voice calling her name.
Recently widowed Reva Hunter is visiting Angkor Wat in Cambodia a trip her late husband arranged before his death. She is standing looking at the carvings on the stone walls when she hears a female voice calling her name what she find has her heading home with source of the voice knowing that she must hide until the other blades can find them. Sugar the host of one of the Blade is nearing the end of her pregnancy when she finds that Lyran females have their babies transferred to gestation units for part of their pregnancies and when she is needed to go find the Creator Blade she arranges this for the twins so she can join the other Blades to rescue the forth Blade.

As usual Donna McDonald delivered us yet another great story with great characters. This was a very enjoyable book to read and it was good to see some of the old characters with their same witty personalities still shining strong. As always, I’m looking forward to the next adventure by Donna McDonald.

The blades come together, secrets revealed and a panther becomes a father. I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
Mind Blown . First these characters come up with some of the most sarcastic and witty lines. Also, even though the primary characters may be Sugar and Axel, we get so much of the supporting characters and a bigger overarching story in the trilogy. But this installment wrapped up the series in unexpected yet a true sci-fi manner. This author’s easy to read storytelling takes us on a fantastical journey then all of a sudden we’re at the end. Sigh, smile, it was a fun ride.
I like to think of this story as ‘When Bad Panther Becomes Dad Panther, He Also Needs To Grow Up’. I won’t give any details as it works better to read and enjoy but let’s say that becoming a father, Axel of Rodu – with his mate Dr. Sugar Jennings, host of a Protector Blade and mother of his twins – is his usual self-involved, but lovable, self. Until Sugar and the other Blades find out some longstanding truths and beliefs of the Lyran people don’t really match up with the human beliefs (of the hosts of the four Blades). It’s a very simple explanation for a great story and it will take you up, down, and around again. I loved how the Blades all worked together, even when they didn’t know what the others were doing, and managed to once again save the day…or did they? Love how strong Sugar is and how she can be soft and caring one minute and a warrior the next. Enjoyed the book, love the twins and figure there is mischief of the kid variety going on even as I write this. Enjoyed the family characters, and the new Blade, and if you are looking to suspend belief for a time, these are the stories to do it.
