I really enjoyed Secret Girl. It was everything my anime heart hoped with definite Ouran Host Club vibes and a nifty mystery.
3.5 Stars
I really enjoyed reading The Secret Girl . It had interesting plot revolving around a girl named Charlotte whose father got a new job as a headmaster at all boys academy. Charlotte decides to attend the school pretending she’s a boy which makes the book quite entertaining. Too bad that Charlotte was such a whiny brat for good portion of the book. She does nothing but complain about wanting to go back to California. She acts like a spoiled child and it is no wonder that the boys start to bully her. I would too if this girl started attending my school and acted like an entitled brat.
I also am not sure about Charlotte’s dad. I am sure he cares about his daughter but he has a funny way of showing it. It really comes across as he could not care less about her. I hope he changes his attitude in the future books.
I really liked the five boys. They were all special in their own way. I must say I liked them better than I did the boys from Rich Boys of Burberry Prep series. I just loved the way they had each other backs and how much they cared for each other. They truly were like family and not people that were just thrown together because they happen to run in the same social circles.
I very much enjoyed the mysterious side of this book. I am very curious to see who is behind Jenica’s death and who is now after Charlotte.
OMGEE!?!
This is so crazy!?! It can’t end like that!!! Talk about drama, suspense, mystery and a slow burn romance. Ah, so good! On to the next! #HappyReading
HAIL TO THE QUEEN.
C.M has another must read book that everyone must read. C.M truly is such a talented writer and anytime a book comes out I will without a doubt one-click. I absolutely love this story and the characters, especially Micah & Tobias. I absolutely love the mystery behind who is after Charlotte aka Chuck. The ending is killing me because I need too know wtf happened. Another amazing 5 star read that truly everyone needs too read right away.
I’ve been waiting to read this series for long and now I have the time, I finally get to read it!

Definitely Recommending!
Great start for a new series
Oh Wow! I can’t even form words about how I feel right now. I’ve never been so stunned at the end of a book before. I guess cause I wasn’t expecting that cliffhanger ending at all. As for the book it self I loved it!!! It starts off very high school and then turns into something more the mystery and suspense aspect really draw you in keep you at the edge of your seat. It’s definitely a slow burn romance, but I kinda like that it makes it feel a little bit more realistic without everyone just fall in love at first sight and they immediately start confessing their feelings. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read and a great start for a new series can’t wait to see what else is in store for this series.
The Secret Girl: A High School Bully Romance (Adamson All-Boys Academy Book 1) Kindle Edition
by C.M. Stunich (Author)
I borrowed this book from the Kindle Unlimited program and am choosing to leave a fair and honest review.
CM Stunich is a master of the High School/Academy Reverse Harem Romance. She has shown that time and time again, from The Boys of Burberry Prep to The Havoc Boys. Each series has it own flavor. In The Secret Girl, the story starts a lot lighter than the two mentioned series. Slow burn with true teenage issues including a possible murder mystery involving a sister, the story marches along with character development everywhere you look.
All in all, I really loved this series starter

This book was fabulously written and featured true bullying. I’m not a proponent of bullying, but this book totally made it work. The student council were such unique individuals, who were simply responding to the attitude of the headmasters ‘son’. Once they learned, HER true identity everything changed. Honestly, everything changed even before that in terms of learning to accept one another. This book was very dark and filled with sexual tension. It made me wish I was a 17 year old girl at an all boys school……. I’d recommend CM Stunich to everyone and I can’t wait to read more!
5 stars for The Secret Girl by C.M. Stunich. This is book 1 in The Adamson All-boys Academy Series. This is a slow burn reverse harem. Chuck/Charlotte has to go to an all boys school since her dad is the headmaster there and they are trying to bring in girls to the school. She pretends to be a boy to avoid standing out. The only problem with this is she acts like a brat and beings to be bullied by the Student Council. The Student Council are the leaders of the school, it consists of Church, Ranger, Spencer, Micha and Tobias. To me this is what makes it different from other bully romances because Chuck/ Charlotte is the one who started it. I found that I enjoyed that aspect of this book and made it different from others in this genre.
“I think you mean psychopath. Sociopaths have trouble controlling their emotions and are prone to emotional outburst. Psychopaths don’t feel human emotions per se but are extremely skilled in imitating it.”
This book is different because it is filled with suspense. I loved every second of it. I am starting book 2 now.
“I’m into guys, so what?” I snap, because that’s not a lie. “That doesn’t mean I’m into you.”
I love a good cliff, and this one was ‘the bomb’.
I couldn’t stop reading once I started. This book had me up and down, full of anxiety and unable to put it down.
Incredible!
I don’t love the characters at all. Chuck is the worst. She basically goes to the school automatically hating it and causes so many issues for herself that probably wouldn’t have happened if she just spoke to the boys normally. Part of it was not wanting them to find out about her (realistically though you’d be able to tell by her voice) but overall she didn’t have much reason to behave the way she did. I also clocked her hoe ass friend and cheating boyfriend immediately so I didn’t even care for the way it was revealed. The boys were fine at first but as they start to bully the shit out of her they suck too lol. There’s just a lot of name calling and her going back and forth in her head about how she doesn’t like them they’re all assholes but at every turn she’s fawning over their looks long before her relationship is over too. But I did laugh a lot because honestly it’s so ridiculous sometimes it’s hilarious. The things I don’t love kind of make it work I guess. The mystery of jenica is interesting as well but I wish we got more info about her and everything that happened because so far all we know is that she was into something that got her killed and chuck was the only one threatening the secret somehow. I’m really sad about Spence because he was so funny and I was looking forward to him working things out with chuck too. So overall it isn’t rich with character value or morals really but it is funny and has a mystery to it I’m curious to unfold. I’ll keep reading for now.
One girl in an all boy school Trying to hide that she is a girl. The only girl that ever tried what she has is dead. during this book the boys that I won’t leave her alone and bully her end up being her lifeline. Can she survive and handle her attraction to all of them. I can’t wait to see what happens next and who the oriole in the hoodies are!,
Chuck has a big secret. One that could change everything at the Adamson All-Boys Academy. He is really Charlotte – a girl hiding beneath baggy clothes and nerd glasses. Being the guinea pig to integrate girls into the academy was not her choice but going back to live with her mother isn’t an option. Charlotte is angry and wants nothing to do with fitting in at this school so she lashes out making enemies of everyone including the student council. They aren’t taking any crap though and make it their mission to change “Chuck’s” attitude. But someone on campus knows her secret and will stop at nothing to see her gone. The last girl that tried to integrate into the academy died and Charlotte might be next. CM Stunich is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her characters are so real and have to deal with real world problems. She knows how to keep the tension going to keep you on the edge of your seat and left craving the next book. This is a must read RH series!
