If hate is a game, this special ops man and ATF agent are out for blood. Or maybe they’re just fighting to see who will be on TOP.Special Ops Sergeant Lincoln Reed, aka Linc, doesn’t want to talk about how small, dark places make him want to blow shit up. He wants to forget about that time of his life and get back to his team. But now he’s trapped in an elevator with the annoying—and strangely … annoying—and strangely pretty—ATF agent he’s spent weeks trying to get off his back. She’s a know-it-all on a power trip… and has he mentioned she’s pretty?
One minute Nealy finds herself in a defunct elevator with a volatile special ops man and the next she’s in his arms… with her naked thighs wrapped around him. Now she’s forced to work even closer with him and the Ranger Ops team. She can’t think of anything worse than a bunch of chest-thumping gun-toting tough guys taking credit for her bringing down the biggest illegal weapons smuggler the US has seen in decades.
As their investigation takes them through two states and across the Mexican border, Linc and Nealy are forced into an even tighter situation and have no choice but to see it through till the end. But she’s still a know-it-all, even if she can kiss the lips right off him. And she could do without the soft spot growing inside her for the man who’s all mouth and muscles. Can she close the door on this case and keep her heart intact?

Every book I read by Em Petrova has consumed me. Point Blank Range is a definite one click book that everyone should read. I loved this book.
As an avid reader of all books authored by Em Petrova, I have truly enjoyed her evolution into suspenseful romance with both her Knight Ops and Ranger Ops series. With each book released, it is evident that she is becoming more comfortable writing scenes which involve military operations and Point Blank Range is clearly her most solid book to date in this regard. It is the perfect blend of high octane drama and passionate romance between Linc and Nealy that will surely satisfy any romance junkie!
This series grabs you in and leaves you longing for the next book in the series. My fingers are crossed that Lennon is the next mighty Texan to be lassoed and tamed.

A guy, a gal, and an elevator make for one HOT story!
After knowing each other – but not on favorable terms – for over a month, Linc and Nealy have a crisis-fueled moment of weakness that allows their bodies to say what their hearts can’t put into words. And later, after that one mission, when Linc tells her to get in his car – and why — whew!! Mama needs a cold shower!!
Linc is a perfectly domineering yet egalitarian, panty-soaking sheet-clenching hot, devoted-to-his-momma alpha warrior, and Nealy is one tough chick who can more than hold her own with the team. Their romance may be sexually charged, but that doesn’t keep their hearts from connecting on a much deeper level. Working together, figuring out the hidden threat, knitting their lives together on their down time, it all brilliantly paints a truly romantic picture of a couple of career-focused individuals finding that they need so much more than their careers.
The writing is instantly captivating, filled with dynamic and often hilarious banter, especially between Linc and Lennon. I couldn’t stop reading this until I was done. As much as I’ve loved each of the earlier books, this one is my favorite so far. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Linc has been through literal hell! At the start of the book, he has been captured and tortured. However, he is a fighter and Special Ops so he’s got this. Once out, he has some recouping that needs to happen and it would go a little more smoothly if an ATF agent would just leave him alone. Everything about her bugs him but he is man enough to see that she is one good looking woman.
Nealy desperately needs Linc to remember more than he does. She has something to prove and a promotion she is more that qualified for. So everyday she visits Linc seeing if anything jogs his memory.
A unplanned meeting, stalled elevator and a slight PTSD moment ups the sexual chemistry between these two. Now they need to learn to work with each other, without clawing each others eyes out and keeping their clothes on around one another.
There were many aspects of this book I liked. I loved the banter and sexy times between these two. Even when they are yelling at each other it was hot. I also liked the protectiveness the Linc feels for Nealy even though she is more than capable to taking care of herself. This leads to a few things that Linc does that I didn’t agree with.
They work well together, and she works well with the team. I hope to see more of her in future books.
“Point Blank Range” (Rangers Ops Book 3) by Em Petrova is a fantastic read. I loved Lincoln ‘Linc’ and Nealy’s story. This is a terrific addition to this series, packed with action, suspense, passion, romance, humor, close friends, hot cowboy lawmen, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Ranger Ops. Highly recommend to all fans of romantic suspense, hot cowboys, lawmen, and series.
This a great addition to the series!
There is almost non-stop adventure, and Linc and Nealy are involved in most of it.
There are so many layers to this plot, and Em Petrova weaves them together skilfully.
There is some humour, lots of steam, enemies to lovers, and realistic action.
I guessed early on that there was a baddie, and who that baddie was, but it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the story.
The development of the relationship between Linc and Nealy is the real star of this book.

So far, this is my favorite in the Ranger Ops series.
Linc and Nealy’s story is almost non-stop adventure. There is that build up of tension with Linc and the crates. Then you have the antagonism between Linc and Nealy. There is suspense, action, and intrigue.
Not only do you get several steamy scenes, but you get a far amount of vulnerability and romance woven into the storyline.
I think Nealy really fits in well with the Ranger Ops Family. There is still all of the camaraderie, the loyalty, love and friendship that comes with the team.
Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

The third in the Ranger Ops series, this is Linc’s story, and he meets his match, literally, in Nealy, a feisty, determined, and competent ATF agent. With Ranger Ops’ survival still on the line and a plethora of bad leads to combat, Linc and the team are racing the clock. This is a sexy, intense, enjoyable suspense story that has a slightly unsatisfactory ending for the bad guy! The Ranger Ops series has become a must-read for me, and, with each book, the insight into its members and the interactions on the team make the characters more rounded and keep you even more engaged. As always, there’s a revisit of the characters from the earlier books in the series – and those weddings will be something else.

Point Blank Range is another fabulous addition to the Ranger Ops series and has all the aspects we’ve come to expect from an Em Petrova story; action, danger, drama and a sassy woman, as who else would be able to handle one of these overbearing, opinionated, alpha heroes! I thoroughly enjoyed Linc and Nealy’s story and the background of angst and frustration, that turned into a combustible passion that neither party could fight or deny. Naturally, the inclusion of a dangerous mission or two, and the support cast of Ranger Ops, Knight Ops and Team Rou could only make the story even better.
However, a first for me was one glaring negative; Linc’s miraculous recovery from not only his days of tortured, but his extensive burns incurred during his escape on his previous mission. The type of burns described, would not have allowed Linc back into the field a mere month later, for fear of infection or further damage to his fragile skin. But if you can put that aside, the storyline and plot were exciting, and the relationship between Linc and Nealy wasn’t dragged out and frustrating like some enemies to lovers can often be. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next Ranger Ops saga to unfold!
A Ranger and an ATF agent.
Lincoln “Linc” is a special ops Ranger.
He’s the brawn.
Nealy is an ATF agent. She doesn’t care for Linc, but one steamy elevator ride and well. Things happen.
Action packed and a wild ride as these two have to work together.
