Kiera Sawyer has always been a free spirit at heart. Her wanderlust and campervan take her wherever a new adventure awaits—which is often to the next music festival. That is until she meets Denny, a biker mechanic whose Viking good looks and bachelor status are well known in the small town of Granite Lake.Denny Masters was born with a calling to build motorcycles. Contrary to the rumors, he’s not … the rumors, he’s not anti-social or anti-women, but he spends a lot of time in the garage.
That is until he meets Kiera at the grand opening party for Black Bear Brewing.
Unfortunately, it’s Denny’s old acquaintance, Jolene, who introduces them—and drunken shenanigans and miscommunication do not make for the start of a solid relationship.
While Denny tries to catch Kiera’s attention, Jolene doesn’t seem to be able to take no for an answer. Thankfully, Denny is heading to Motor and Metal Fest where he can sell bikes and get to know Kiera better.
A road trip and a music festival with a gorgeous, intriguing, and fun woman makes Denny believe the pieces of his life are finally coming together.
But Kiera isn’t being totally upfront about her personal life—or her relationship with her boss, Ash Wilde, the CEO of the company.
Will Denny and Kiera stick together through a tangle of misfortunes, a love triangle Kiera never saw coming, and Jolene’s stalker tendencies, or will they lose the trust, hope, and love they’ve found in each other?
A drama-packed, fun, page-turning wild ride filled with heartfelt, steamy romance and traveling the world—because catching Kiera is a love worth fighting for.
This book contains mature language and romantic scenes.
**Catching Kiera is a stand-alone novel. However, some of the characters in this book are also in the other Granite Lake Romance novels.
more
Kiera is a free spirit who enjoys traveling for work and her connection with her boss, longtime best friend Ash. Denny has kept his head down and pretty much works on bikes and minds his own business. Granite Bay has a history of merging folks who are totally opposites and making it work so it shouldn’t be a surprise that here these two find a way. But it isn’t easy, between the mixed messages with Kiera and Ash and Jolene inserting herself into Denny and Kiera’s budding romance things are gonna be interesting to say the least. It’s an awesome read about trust and relationships and most importantly not running. I love this author and this small town where love meets the road and guardian angels appear with words of wisdom or maybe riddles is more like it. You’ll laugh and gasp and all the emotions in between and find yourself hoping for their hea.
I loved this story and the characters.
Kiera Sawyer is spending a few days at Granite Lake with her sister and meets Denny Masters at the opening party of Black Bear Brewing, however, Jolene claims Denny as hers and Kiera decides to step aside.
As Kiera heads to the Motor and Metal Fest, her campervan breaks down and Denny appears to rescue her on the road and the two travel together to the Festival, with some surprises along the way. Upon arriving at the Festival, Kiera meet again Ash Wilde, the CEO of the company for which she works.
While Kiera and Denny try to get to know each other better, they will have to deal with the interruptions of Ash and Jolene. And after some surprising events, their future will be at stake.
Will they be able to overcome all obstacles, or is Kiera a free spirit who doesn’t want to tie herself up to anyone?
I loved the story and highly recommend the reading.
The storyline was well written, the plot flowed smoothly from page to page and the characters were written with such great detail and depth that I was totally engaged as I turned each and every page of this wonderful book!
When fate wants something will it happen?
What happens when a free spirited woman and a motorcycle mechanic who’s a little awkward around women meet? It’s a little weird at first but it gets better! Kiera comes to Granite Lake to visit her sister and they go to Black Bear Brewing and she meets Denny. He’s a mechanic that works a lot but Kiera catches his attention. He wants to know her better but obstacles from his ex tries to keep them apart. Kiera has a boss that’s her best friend and he wants more that being in the friend zone and tries keeping them apart. But fate and the universe seems to want them together. Who will win? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
I received an arc and the opinions and views are my own. This was a very witty story, funny and entertaining. Truly enjoyed how Denny and Kiera meet. Jolene and Ash are very selfish people who want things their way and don’t care who they hurt. Enjoyed the ending as well. I would recommend this book to all, a very enjoyable read.
Great story! Loved the character of Denny! Denny Masters is a gearhead who just loves to build motorcycles. He’s a little awkward with the ladies even if he looks like a Viking God, and is focused more on bikes than babes! And Kiera Monroe Sawyer is a free spirit who goes wherever the feeling of adventure takes her and a great complement to Denny. A serendipitous road trip to the Music and Metal festival brings them together along with a series of unfortunate events thrown in the mix as well.
A broken down vanagon, a crazy ex making it to the festival, a best friend with possibly more than friendly feels, even a dog that appears out of nowhere all try to cause trouble between Kiera and Denny while the universe keeps trying to push them together. Can Denny get out of his head/awkwardness to make it work with Kiera? And break out of his very structured life in Granite Lake? Is Keira willing to settle down for a chance to be with Denny?
I received an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.
I loved Kiera and Denny’s story! If you’ve read any of Ms. Kessler’s Granite Lake Romance series, you’ll recognize both characters. If you haven’t, then what are you waiting for? Kiera is Autumn’s sister, from “Detecting Autumn.” She is a free spirit who lives in her campervan named Waldo, so everyone can ask “Where’s Waldo?” She travels all over the country working for her best friend, Ash, and his production company. Denny lives in Granite Lake and owns a motorcycle garage. He’s also best friends with Treasure, from “Chasing Treasure.”
Kiera and Denny meet in Granite Lake and their initial introduction is less than ideal, but hilarious! Picture vitamin mix, a ring, and a toilet. LMAO! They both feel an instant attraction towards each other, but they have a few obstacles in their way, in the names of Jolene and Ash. Add in the cutest dog, Jinx, witty humor with no filter, and some unbelievably weird requests, and you have a hilarious and wonderful love story.
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
I’ve read several books by Jody A. Kessler and I must say Catching Kiera is one of my favorites. Kiera is in town visiting her sister, Autumn, and while at the Black Bear Brewing, she meets Denny Masters. They are attracted to one another, but Kiera is warned away from Denny by Jolene. What Jolene doesn’t realize is that some of her actions will end up bringing Kiera and Denny together. Denny isn’t the only man in the picture, lol. What is going on between Kiera and Ash? I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say you won’t be disappointed if you enjoy a suspenseful read with your romance.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.
