Author’s Note
London Season Matchmaker is a five-book series about four sisters and their cousin all being reluctant when it comes to love. But of course, in the end, they all do fall madly in love.

Just ok for me. Didn’t really care for the heroine. She was too quick to fault her sisters and cousin, when they didn’t want forced into society. She was doing to them what she didn’t want done to her. As if her reasons were better than theirs.
Finished the story, barely, but will try this author again as she has many favorable reviews.
This story was deep, emotional, suspenseful, with twists and turns, and secrets. Also had passion to help people that keeps you glued to the pages of this fascinating story. All this within a love story. A must read.
Easy to see where this was going before we got to the middle of the story. Could have had a few different twists.
Both main characters are naive and need to wake up. Disappointing and unrealistic. Don’t waste your time.
I loved that this was a pretty clean book. Also, it had a different perspective on life. One of responsibility and duty first. A place where chivalry still lives.
Comfortable & Cozy book. Allowed for a relaxing read which was good as I was on Holiday from school.
It was predictable but an enjoyable read.
I enjoyed reading this sweet Regency romance novel. It was full of appropriate etiquette and problems that fit the time period. I must confess to being disappointed in so many romances dubbed ‘Regency’ in which the heroes and heroines are doing all sorts of things that just don’t fit the time period. I’m so happy this story wasn’t like that. The dialogue and characters were exactly as they should be in my opinion.
My favorite character was the younger sister, who though she was a bit forward, stayed just within the bounds of propriety. I thought it was interesting that she showed more insight than her older siblings.
I’d recommend this book to anyone who enjoys sweet romance, historical romance, or Regency romance.
The book was a very easy read. You knew what was going to happen before it did. Able to read in one day. Very very light reading.
I love the way the characters were developed. Made feel like I knew them.
Great book! Stayed up past 2 am some nights because I couldn’t find a stoping off sot!
I liked the book because the leading lady is an ordinary woman who finds she can reclaim the heart of the man she loves by taking a stand in adversity instead of letting an uncaring and controlling suitor ruin her chance of true love and happiness.
A good story which puts together honor, duty and love.
I don’t find the story realistic. Would A person really give up the love of their life to rescue a cousin in trouble? I think not. But it was a sweet love story and I always enjoy a happily-ever-after ending.
The dialogue, the charater’s inner thoughts, the total wimpiness of Lord Avondale …yeah, he did “the right thing” by his family, but I have absolutely no patience with the weak, and omnipresent plot devices of “Oh golly. I don’t have time,” “I can’t tell you this important thing” etc. Okay. He couldn’t explain the real reason for his marriage, but he could at least have told her it was for his family. Sheesh.
And then the uncle says, “If only we knew who the evil man was who dishonoured your cousin.’ Okay. Right then I knew the whole plot, and I was done.
