This author did a good job. I will read more from this author.
This book is totally different then a lot of shifter romance. Both of the main characters are shifters which is really neat. I loved how they were in love and already in love with each other but the main character lost her memory. The characters both had faults and strength and their romance was up and down like an actual romance is. I also loved that the characters were well rounded. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
Lion Hearts Tiger: True Mate Love Romance (Heartland Shifters Book 1) by V. Vaughn is an awesome story that I have had the privilege to read. This is book number one in this awesome series that I am so hooked on and can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters and paranormal romance.
Love this premise! Amnesia storylines are one of my favorites! Add in shifters and mates and I’m loving it! Really sweet romance with some spice! Lion shifter Tristan and tiger shifter Lexi have a lovely connection. Tristan needs to get Lexi out of a human hospital before they find out she’s different, but Lexi isn’t exactly sure she can trust him since her memory is all wonky. She doesn’t even remember shifters! My heart hurt for Tristan! Really enjoyed the whole thing! Entertaining and fun!
My Thoughts – 4 out of 5 Unicorns – I really liked it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I received a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book! When I can, I will collect this book!
This is the first book in a new series, and it is not a serial. This is a whole book and about 200 pages long. I like covers to reflect the characters, so I’m annoyed the lion in male because Lexi, who is the lion, is not male.
I really liked the characters in this book and town. Lexi and Tristan are great together, but there is drama and turmoil throughout the book as Lexi struggles with figuring out who she is and who everyone else is too. There is not much action, and I’m definitely an action girl. It is a feel-good romance.
I recommend to shifter fans who love worlds filled with all sorts of shifters and want a feel-good romance. I can’t wait to read Bruce’s story!
Wow! This was an interesting shifter story! Lion Tiger was a great read and I couldn’t put it down
Possible SPOILERS
Lexi was in a car accident and looses her memory, she awakes in a hospital to a very hot man calling her Lexi but she doesn’t remember anything…not even her name or the man!
Tristan can’t believe he has finally found Lexi after days of searching but she’s in a hospital and can’t remember him, herself or their life together. Tristan is keeping a couple of very big secrets from Lexi but when she is ready he will tell her.
Lexi is “home” from the hospital but she isn’t feeling quiet right…it’s like there is someone else in her body with her….but that’s crazy…right?!
When Lexi finally learns things about herself she’s not sure what to think or do but hopefully all will work out soon
Lion, tiger, bear and a myriad of other shifters start the new series. Engaging story of amnesia, guilt and trust. Liked the lead characters, Lexi and Tristan; loved Hillary and Bruce, though!
Not as much intensity as I’m used to in Ms. Vaughn’s writings. Liked the longer length; good read.
This is the first book in a new series called Heartland Shifters.
The plot has adventure drama and fun parts as well.
The two main characters Tristan’s and Lexi has great chemistry between them.
Looking forward to more books in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Lexie and Tristan
He’d been waiting for her to wake up for days. There was danger if she stayed here but he couldn’t move her until she woke–if she woke. She had to. When Lexie did open her eyes she didn’t recognize him. Nor their love. He had to convince her to let him take her.
Lexie didn’t remember her name. Why she was in the hospital–that is where she was–or the man hovering over her–the hot man.
Finally, he convinced her when the doctor looked way too excited about her blood and the differences he found. What she didn’t expect was to be whisked away to a secluded cabin. The man, Tristan he said, was hiding something.
Rediscovering their love wasn’t going to be easy with the secrets he had to tell her. She didn’t know about shifters or certainly that they were both big cat shifters. What if she changed without knowing how to control her beast?
Could this couple get back to their lives before her accident? A good read with plenty of twists and turns.
