From USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow comes a heartwarming childhood frenemies-to-lovers, second chance romance!
When we were eleven, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot-jump.He lied.(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.) I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took … lied.
(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)
I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton.
But it wasn’t.
Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier–and the betting stakes higher–until finally, he left me in pieces. I swore I’d never talk to him again.
But twenty years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart.
How many chances does true love deserve?

First of all, the covers for this series blow me away! Undeniable is Choe and Oliver’s story. It’s kind of a last chance, friends to lovers, but they have such a bumpy past that even their friendship is questionable.
Honestly, both of these characters took a minute for me to like. Chloe can be impulsive but then also quick tempered. Oliver is untrustworthy and immature. But they have that magnetism. And history. They have that mind reading connection, and Oliver does eventually get his head out of his butt and grow into a better man. I mean, I’ve been with my hubby since I was 13 and if you put some of our younger moments in a book, they wouldn’t make sense to you. But it builds the strong foundation you have later on. Wow, sidetracked! Anyways, all I’m saying is I see them. I get this couple.
Chloe is a heard working woman trying to reach her dreams. When shes thrown back to the past by have to work with her children friend
Oliver is ready to move from the past to the future and he wants to do that buy helping chloe reach one of her dreams.but frist he has to show her he is not the boys he use to be
When Oliver ask chloe to spend a week with him so he can prove him self to her she has to decide whether hes worth the time or if she should walk away
The chemistry is amazing with the two of them but secrets could be the thing to ruen it all… this book was amazing and I could not put it down
This was good, but after how much I loved Irresistible (which I read right before this), it wasn’t as satisfying as I’d hoped. I’m giving this 3.5 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
This book was dual POV, and also had “now” and “then” parts, allowing us to see the full story. I liked what I saw of Chloe in the previous book, so I was excited to read more about her. And I did like her character overall, but she was just so different from me that I had a hard time connecting to her like I did Frannie.
As for Oliver, I was super conflicted about him. I really loved him in the beginning, and the glimpses we saw when he was honest with himself about his feelings, but then he ended up always ruining things by doing/saying something stupid. I get that people aren’t perfect, but if I was Chloe, I would have given up on him long before the “now” parts of this book. Yes, he was a charmer, and yes, they got a happy ending, but dang that was some serious drama and emotional whiplash. I wanted to slap him at least a few times, no lie.
This was just a nitpicky thing, but like 98% of the “now” timeline was told within less than a week time frame. I was expecting a good portion of the book to actually show them working at the distillery with him teaching her the ropes, but that didn’t happen. For that to be such a big plot point, I was sad the author didn’t explore it.
We saw some characters we’d previously met while also meeting some new ones. I wanted more of Mack and Frannie, but I guess it made sense we didn’t really see them since Chloe wasn’t even at the family farm for a good portion of the book. The plot, and summary, were cute overall…but I just couldn’t fully connect to the characters like I’d anticipated I would. It wasn’t a bad read, it just wasn’t my cup of tea like Irresistible was. Also I called a lot of things before they happened, and I wanted something to surprise me instead.
This was a fun, enjoyable read. I really loved Chloe. This was a rare book where I liked the heroine much more than the hero. I did like them together as a couple as well. The childhood friendship / competitiveness between these two was a nice backstory and of course, the entire supporting cast was just terrific. I can’t wait for more in the Cloverleigh Farms series.
I am loving this series! This is a second chance, frenemies to lovers story that I couldn’t get enough of! Awesome characters. Oliver made me swoon and I loved him but at times I wanted to punch him! I loved Chloe’s character too! I love when the female lead is feisty and takes no crap! These two had chemistry that absolutely sizzled! Can’t wait to see who’s story is next!
Undeniable was a really fun book to read. Oliver and Chloe have been friends/enemies forever. Their parents are also the best of friends. The book begins present day with Chloe hating Oliver. But her father wants her to learn the ropes of a running distillery from him. Little does she know Oliver needs something from her too. They have been in and out of each other’s lives for years and he always seems to drag her into something then making her angry. I loved the witty banter between the two. I also enjoyed going back to the past to see all the ways they had been a part of each other’s lives. This was a funny and sexy story about getting a second chance to get things right.
I am soooo in love with this series!! The Sawyer girls are quickly becoming my favorite siblings from Melanie Harlow, Cloverleigh Farms series will charm your pants off and steal your heart. After reading Irresistable (book 1), I’m seriously drooling over every book…and then we get this cover. I totally lost my breath! HUGE love for this cover, it’s STUNNING! It lends perfectly to the heart, passion, and vibrancy of Chloe and Oliver’s story. Get ready for all the FEELS because this story DELIVERS!
I couldn’t have asked for anything better for these two characters. The swing between the past and present is laid out to fully understand and explore their complicated history and navigate their existing feelings. Being one of 5 siblings, Chloe doesn’t scare easily. She’s first to take on a dare, first to cause trouble. She’s met her match Oliver, who was always looking to get into trouble with Chloe. Since their mothers are best-friends, they’ve grown up together, getting into all kinds of mischief. Oliver and Chloe’s past is complicated, but now, Oliver is ready to make amends for all this mis-steps. The question remains if Chloe will trust her heart and accept his apologies; she no longer trusts easily.
This small town, frenemies to lovers, second chance romance (yeah, it’s all in there) will have you obsessed with Oliver. While flawed, he’s swoony, charismatic, and drool-worthy. I’d personally give him a thousand chances. Melanie Harlow drew me in from the first page, cheering for their HEA every time Oliver messed up. Undeniable is just that, undeniably a fantastic story. Definitely one-click worthy.
Undeniable by Melanie Harlow a five-star read you won’t be able to deny. This is the second instalment in the Cloverleigh Farms series, and I have read them both and loved them for their own unique stories, they could be read as stand-alone, but they are so good you will want to read them both. Oliver what a plonker he really is but aren’t we all allowed to be young and stupid. Chloe told usher story and what a story. She will show you why she has leapt previously and its so much deeper than you first think. This is a complex drama and will keep you gripped all the way through, Melanie Harlow has a way with characters that make you feel like they are telling you their words straight to your soul. This was a beautiful story and I am eagerly awaiting what we will find next.
