I love sports romance books. This is a great story. I didn’t want the story to end.
If you enjoy a good sports romance you cannot go wrong with this book it is the fourth book in the series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is Ulrich and Sammy’s story these two are just so sweet together and perfect for each other if only she was not the coach’s daughter and he was not risking getting booted off of the team.
This is the 4th book in the Playing for Glory Romance series, Its a well written story that will keep your attention until you finish.
The characters of Ulrich Fölscher and Samantha (Sunny to her friends) are very well written. He has someone who is very jealous of him and is out to make his life miserable. Sammy is just who he needs but he should stay away from. His coach, Sammy’s father has laid down a set of rules. Can he keep them? Will they throw caution to the wind and get together?

I loved this book. The author has the ability to create great characters that are likable, memorable and relatable. The storylines are full of emotion with a bit of drama. The stories aren’t simplified between two main characters. Each story plays out using multiple characters which enrich the story and give it a feel of familiarity as though you’ve been invited once more into this amazing family who you’ve missed more than you realized. The starring couple along with the plotline of this story made this book heartbreaking while at the same time endearing because you could feel the attraction and growing love between them. The mistakes made by the characters felt real. The subtle nuances of the actions of multiple characters which impacted the starring couple made the book hard to put down because I became engaged in their relationship and I wanted it to succeed. Great writing without sacrificing a story with cleshays, I recommend this book for giving me a beautiful story that entertained and left me more than satisfied. I cannot wait for the next book.

I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review
I loved seeing so much more & a different side to Ulrich Folscher, though heck I felt so much frustrated for him not just by not being on the field as much as any other of his team mate, which was BEFORE he came to the rescue of Coach Brady’s daughter Sammy who they’ve all been barred from dating.
But what can a man or woman do when feelings take over what’s been told of them??
Come in & find out how things start & proceed between Ulrich & Sammy….
I enjoyed this new “Playing for Glory” story! It’s a fairly quick read that is well written. Love the characters in this fascinating story. I love Ulrich and Sammy’s story! It’s a forbidden sports romance that is a fun, sweet and clean story.
This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Francine Beaton; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Omg this is a must read I just couldn’t put it down the characters had me captivated I couldn’t turn the page fast enough
The fourth book in the A Playing for Glory Romance series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Ulrich Fölscher has so much to overcome a person who is jealous and will cause a lot of trouble for him. Coach Brady’s daughter Samantha/Sammy is a person he should stay away from but he needs he in his life. Ulrich will follow the rules the coach sets down but will it be enough? Reading everything these two have to go through made for a very good story. I want to read the next book.

I loved to read new author that can write and this author is one I will be adding to my collection of must read. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly with enough twists and turns to add to the chemistry between the main characters.

This series and its rugby players are stealing my heart bit by bit. Ulrich is so sweet, shy, an introvert if you have to, who meets the girl that turns his world on its axis. This is a clean romance overall.

This was a really great book with characters that wanted to follow the rules, but will their love have other plans for them? I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others

Sweet and clean, Playing by the Rules is a quick, cute sports romance about a rugby player who can’t help falling for the coach’s daughter. Ulrich is a bit of an introvert, a quiet guy who meets Sammy unexpectedly and finds that she brings out another side of him. They both know that dating is not an option – Sammy’s father has made it clear that he would kick any player who dates his daughter off the team – but they can’t help the attraction between them. As they continue to run into each other over the course of several months, Ulrich and Sammy’s feelings become deeper and their connection is harder to ignore. Unfortunately, they have to keep playing by the rules or Ulrich will jeopardize his whole career.
I enjoyed both of the main characters – I liked Ulrich a whole lot, he was sweet and a little shy. Sammy brings out a different side of him, and I liked seeing that play out. However, this felt a little too angsty for me, without enough depth to the romance. Sammy and Ulrich keep running into each other, but they don’t actually spend a lot of time together over the course of the book, and they sort of just assume that they’re both still hung up on each other, even though weeks often pass before they see each other again. I guess I was just hoping that at some point Ulrich would stand up and fight for Sammy, show that she’s more important than his career – though, honestly, their feelings for each other progressed pretty quickly based on how much time they’ve spent together. It’s an interesting premise that I would’ve liked more if the story was fleshed out. Nothing wrong with the book, just not enough that was right.
