The book is filled with many unexpected turns and non-stop actions, yet the characters took each and every issue thrown at them with unbelievable grace. I truly wish I am half as capable and noble as they are.
A very enjoyable read.

This is the final book in the trilogy and as expected it was great just like the rest of the books, there is a lot of growing and self reflection in this one not just for the characters but for us the readers. Zamir has some own realizations in regards to his action of his past which in turn change what he wants to do going forward, although as always there is trickery involved that puts a spanner in the works for everyone. We get to see who a true leader really is and lets be fair it had to be him but be ready for a ride that involves tense times, close calls, alpha aggression, eye rolling and of course some magic that keeps you addicted to turning the page and seeing where things will end up!

I really enjoyed getting this finale book in the series, So much happened and there was so much awesomeness. I really loved reading this book and I loved how you just knew the good guys would win, but you had no clue as to how they would pull it off. This was an awesome ending to a great series. I do really hope that there is a spin off series from this one.
This is the continuation of this series of Kai and his grandfather and I believe that overall it sends a very profound message that we should be aware of every choice we make because they affect countless people and each choice provides endless possibilities. Great characters and riveting story

Cursed Legacy is a fantastic finish to the Lord of the Ocean series. This book was a lot action, as was the entire series. They are also a quick read so it won’t take long at all to binge through the trilogy.
Cursed Legacy continues the adventure of Zamir, Ginny and Kai as they try to sort out their family problems while trying to restore the Beltaimatu kingdom to power, and dealing with threats from the Beltaimatu past. All the main characters in this book have choices to make as they try to figure out these problems at the risk of each other’s lives. Once again, Jade adds in good character growth as everyone sorts out their complicated family history and try to come to some form of common ground. I don’t mind characters who are stubborn or frustrating as long as they show change. Nobody in life ever stays the same and I’m glad we get to see these characters grow.
The action comes fast and often in this series and I would really recommend reading all three books right after each other if possible. Each book leads into the next and you won’t want to wait to start the next book. I really expected a bit more from the final battle with Marduk. There are some pretty awesome things leading up to that battle, which I won’t spoil for you, but I wanted to see a bigger final showdown between Zamir and Marduk to end the book. The ending was still satisfying, but I was just slightly disappointed by that.
This series (as was the previous series) was fantastic. I love the twists Jade put into this story and I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes mythology and science fiction. I’m looking forward to seeing if Jade will continue this series from the threads she left at the end of this book or spin it off in a different direction. I’ll be anxiously waiting to see what comes next from this author.

Ginny, Kia, zamir are all back in the final instalment of the Lords of the Ocean Trilogy. And oh what an ending it is . As with the previous two books the writing is truly amazing. The author incorporates marvelous action scenes, fantastic descriptions, great characters and emotional drama into a wonderful storyline culminating with a awesome climatic scene. The characters continue to grow and develop as they are faced with the many twists, turns and surprises the writer puts them through. I am particularly impressed with the depiction and details of the action sequences, they trigger one’s imagination. Not only is the fight for the earth on land but it is in the ocean and in the air. This was my first book about mer-people and I found it intriguing. Overall I rate this series very high.

My review is my own opinion given freely. I received an ARC copy from Booksprout in exchange for my honest review.
This is the final book in this series. I enjoyed the drama, action, and brilliant way Kerrion weaves the final pieces of the story together. This series is filled with complex characters and edgey moments that force you to read into the wee hours of the morning. This series is not just about Kai and his grandfather. It’s a warning to us all that we should not make decisions lightly because we impact each other. It’s a plea to seize the moments, big and small, because it could very well be our last. It’s about life.
This book has a smattering of adult language and lots of action. There are plenty of close calls and even some happy and sad moments. And maybe a spinoff… I look forward to many more books by Mrs. Kerrion and I highly recommend this series
