Rich boys don’t fraternize with the help. They don’t torture the help. They don’t crave the help. For as long as I can remember, my mom and I have lived on the edge of ruin, so when she finally gets a decent job offer, she moves us cross-country to take it.Who cares if it means working as a live-in housekeeper for a man wealthier than God? The paycheck is good, and it comes with a roof over our … good, and it comes with a roof over our heads.
She even manages to get me enrolled in the fancy prep academy his son goes to—the kind that spits out future CEOs and politicians like a vending machine.
But this new town has a few things my old one didn’t…
Like secrets that could get a person killed, and four of the hottest, meanest guys I’ve ever met.
I might live in their world now, but I am not a part of it, and they’ll do whatever it takes to remind me of that.
We go to school together, live together, and share a dangerous secret, but as far as Lincoln, River, Dax, and Chase are concerned…
I’m just the help.

I am currently obsessing over reading bullying and reverse harem and the ones I’ve been reading have been leaving me with my mouth wide open when I get to the end because I never expect an ending like that, although I should know better since it’s not a stand-alone book(s).
Harlow (“Low”) and her mom move to Connecticut from Arizona to be maids for one of the wealthiest families in this town. As soon as they get there she meets the Black family and instantly she can tell that Lincoln is going to be trouble for her. The kings of the academy bully her along with the snotty cheerleaders but Harlow is not a push over and she won’t allow these ridiculous girls bully her to a maximum.
When they witness something that they never in a million years thought would happen, Harlow finds herself even closer to the boys but she never imagined them to do what they did at the end.
I’m sure we’ll get many of our unanswered questions resolved in the next book.
So much drama and mystery involved with these kids.
This book was so good and will have you hooked from page one. I love a really good bully romance and add in that this is a RH and its one of my favorites. I love Harlow and how strong she is and will not take anything lightly and doesnt back down at all. The boys were also great and I honestly could not put down. Seriously can not wait until the next book!
I loved this book! I started it this morning and finished it this afternoon. The story is excellent, the writing phenomenal, and the characters well developed. I read a lot of books, and this one grabbed me and held me close to the ending.
Lincoln, River, Dax and Chase, The Kings of Linwood Academy…handsome and popular but so much more…And Harlow, the beautiful young woman who shakes their world like no other has before. The chemistry amongst these five is sizzling, no matter how much they try to deny it. This is a slow burn with lots of heat.
This story ends in a cliffhanger and my oh my what a cliffhanger it is. Did the boys just betray Harlow or do they have good reasons for why they do what they do? I guess I’ll have to flipping wait to find out! Gah! I want to know now. Well done, Callie Rose, well done. Highly recommended.
