Please note, this story is a rerelease from Ivy Chapman, now under D.E. Chapman. This story contains 4 NEW chapters. The sequel will be released with all new content in 2020. One omega for five alpha’s to share.I don’t know how long I’ve been in this darkness. I don’t know how long I’ve been seeing with eyes that can’t open, speaking from a throat incapable of making sounds. All I have are my … making sounds. All I have are my thoughts and how weary I’ve grown with nothing else to listen to. Perhaps I am nothing more than a state of mind.
I want to die.
Understanding is slow to arrive but when it does, nothing will ever be the same again. Now, with a form that moves, I uncover the meaning of my existence and the purpose for my extended solitude.
I’m an omega.
A rare breeding mare for the likes of alphas. With the decrease in fertility rates in able omegas, less pups means a crippled society overrun with beta’s. Omega’s, now born sickly and broken, are found wanting in a population steeply dying out. I’m just the beginning of change and by no means the last. Created, not born, I’m slave to the will of my makers … and my mates.
Will I survive or be torn apart by five hungry alphas?
*This reverse harem, omegaverse novel is not for the faint of heart. Creature of the Dark contains graphic sexual content and dark situations that may not be suitable for everyone. Be advised, this is a #whychoose story as the main character ends up with more than one mate at the end of the series. This book ends in a cliffhanger.
Omegaverse is an art form of its own. This story kept me on the edge of my seat. Can’t wait for the next book. – Goodreads Reviewer
Very short story, quick read and an interesting new twist on the omegaverse stories. – Goodreads Reviewer
If you have a sensitive constitution then I would not recommend this book for it is dark. I did enjoy how it moved on. The book is so good I’m going to go back and read it for a second time. – Goodreads Reviewer
This is Omegaverse, if you don’t know what it is, please take the time to look it up before you judge this book. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s DEFINITELY Mine. *Grins This is a Dark Post Apocalyptic Omegaverse, and a Pretty Interesting One at That. – Goodreads Reviewer

I’m loving that there are so many Omegaverse stories coming out now. This one is definitely interesting. In a world where omegas and even Alphas are dying out because omegas are getting sick. They make a desperate decision to create omegas that aren’t born, but created in a lab. This is a story about the first omega successfully made.
I don’t want to go into too much detail, but there are some questions that are answered more toward the end of this book, but your left with even more questions at the end as well. This book does end in a cliffhanger, but I’m excited to find out what happens next. Because this in a very interesting world the author has created.
Wow! Okay, just wow. This is like Addison Cain, Zoey Ellis, Nora Ash Omegaverse but on the verge of Extinction. What would science do if it had to have omegas for alphas to be? The is the story of one omega’s “Awakening” into this world and what it means to be possibly the last omega that can save the fate of of her race.
*** Updated review ***
I had read the previous edition of this book. It was shorter; ending with a Cliffie that left you wondering where the story was going next. This new edition adds on a couple chapters that I think will really help the next book go smoother. The book already was a great addition to the Omegaverse world and was in my opinion a “must read”. An omega created artificially from multiple Omega DNA samples to save a dying race, it’s a plot that could go any where and be good. This one has what seems like a greedy corporation with hands experimenting on the Omega, May, and her fetuses. What does it mean for her future and the future of her pups?? Though poor May is learning about this new world, she was forced to pair-bond to 5 Alphas. Do they love her? Will they stand by her or continue to let the corporation experiment on her “for the greater good”? This new edition leaves everything at such a better place, with more detailed world-building to prepare reader for the next book. I can’t wait.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
An Erotic Short, the story is definitely pointing in an interesting direction if the author continues to write in this series.
This was my first story by Ivy Chapman and I can’t figure out how I missed her work. I did find that the beginning of the story lacked some basic background information for me to support the start of the story. Okay after saying that I still love the book. The story itself is fast paced adding in the missing info that you need as you read and book moves along. I feel sorry for May and I want to kill every male in the book and the bitch doctor. If you have a sensitive constitution then I would not recommend this book for it is dark. I did enjoy how it moved on. The book is so good I’m going to go back and read it for a second time.
