Wow, this book brought me to my knees many times over. So emotionally gripping and raw. I loved everything about Tate and Dylan’s story. Their story was real and emotional in a way that will stay with me for a very long time. I loved how interwoven the characters are from one book to another. I highly recommend anyone reading these books to read them in order so you don’t miss out on any of the great stories and characters. Now I can’t wait to get my hands on Chase’s story.
An emotional journey for Tate and Dylan. Their love for one another was palpable. This story was written beautifully, and with dignity by Ms. Sharelle. It took my breath away. It hit me on a personal level, the struggles are real when conceiving for some people, and it could either bring a couple together or break them apart. I loved every single moment of this story.
Out of the Flames will have your emotions searing to the surface. Dylan and Tate will seize your heart from the very start and their grasp on you never wavers. Their story is impassioned, powerful, steamy and at times heart wrenching. The connection and love these two have radiates right to your soul. A book that takes you on a truly emotional odyssey from happiness, tragedy and acceptance. This couple will show us that through the darkest times love will always shine the brightest light.
This is the second book in the “Firemen do it better” series, and each story just seems to get better and better. Dylan is the lead fire-fighter, and is married to Tate. These two have been passionately in love since the first met, and after 5 years of marriage, the only frustrating things is that there is no baby yet. This is one of those stories which totally leaves you gutted, and is an emotional roller coaster ride. This is a beautifully written story which is raw, gritty, and heartbreaking, with surprises which all lead to a powerful read. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
This Firefighters series just gets Hotter and Hotter and the emotions just keep hitting the heart stronger with each book released. The author has done an outstanding job of making the reader feel everything little nuance that the characters feel in this book: the love, the hurt, the devastation, the helplessness, the friendships and so much more.
Dylan and Tate have been head over heels in love since the day they meet 10 years ago and after 5 years of marriage their love and devotion to each other is stronger than ever. The only thing lacking is a baby. Frustration sets in after a year of trying and still no child. But when tragedy strikes the author will take you on a very heartfelt emotional ride. One that Dylan and Tate’s magical love affair may not survive and one the reader will feel down to their toes.
Simply put his is a Phenomenal read in one amazing heartfelt series. While the books can be read as stand-a-lones, I HIGHLY Recommend all the stories in the Firemen Do It Better series as the friendships overlap. Kudo’s Ms. Sharelle for a wonderful read and this reader can’t wait for your next release. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Adoring Stars.
This book absolutely ripped me apart! It was totally worth the tears, but definitely have the tissues handy! It’s not like most romances, where boy meets girl, they fall in love, and have a HEA. Nope. This story starts with the HEA, and shows you what those marriage vows really mean!!!!
Tate absolutely adores Dylan. And Dylan worships Tate completely. Theirs is the type of marriage that everyone aspires to. Loving. Supportive. And they still can’t keep their hands off one another, even after all of their years together. There is just one small downside, but they are working through it together. Until the unthinkable happens and rips their world apart.
This book not only had me in tears, but also gave me chills. There was so much emotion packed into this book, I almost couldn’t process it all (almost!) It was a beautiful story about love, and what it really means. About marriage, and what it really should be. This book is an absolute, must read it as soon as it comes out book for pretty much anyone that loves romance!
BEAUTIFULLY HEARTBREAKING & WARMING!
This was a very emotional read for me because I could relate to it so much. Suffering from infertility is an agonizing ordeal. It’s absolutely heart wrenching. Dylan’s character is sex on a stick I would climb him like a monkey up a banana tree. He is the total package. Tate’s character is beautiful and as sweet as they come and her desperation for a child had me bawling the snot nosed cry. Oh how I could feel her pain. When Tate gets hurt it was such intense suspense I was actually nervous. Dylan’s suffering was heartbreaking and then when Tate finds out what happened it was almost as if I could hear her screams of pain. These two are so smokin hot I loved how they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. I EXTREMELY recommend this series to everyone. Oh and I love that we get to catch up with Carson and Lake.
The feels.
Holy heck these firemen sizzle right off the page with all their alpha caveman ways i freakin love it . Hoove and Tate’s story was one of mixed emotions for me and at one point i screamed out “LEAH SHARELLE im going to go postal on your butt woman ” lol this author certainly knows how to pull at her readers heart strings thats for sure . I love the intensity of the love Hoove has for Tate its what all book boyfriends should be like it’s raw and visceral and over the top and I’m jealous of it lol i envy Tate to have such a passion with her man . The struggle they faced in wanting to have children and the devastation of that horrific accident had my heart in my throat. But Hoove never lost sight of what was important to him as gut wrenching and heartbreaking as it was he loved Tate through it every step of the way. I felt the loss of what Tate went through as a mother who has also felt a loss like that i could totally empathize with her and her sense of guilt and what if’s it can certainly warp your senses and thought process. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series . Although I’ve come to realise that i need a box of tissues and a bottle of moscato everytime i read one of Leah’s books lol .
Out Of The Flames is the second book in this series and if you haven’t read book 1, Into The Fire, then I recommend you do so as not only is it a terrific story but this one will make more sense too.
Dylan and Tatum or Tate Grant have been together for ten years, deliriously happy until a monumental barrier pops up in their life creating fears that could shatter their relationship.
The strong love these lead characters have for each other is almost tangible and extremely enviable. This is a story about the depth of feeling between these two, their needs and wants, the support they have for each other as well as their fears..it is very real.
Oh Lord, when this author writes dramatic scenes she really has you sitting on the edge of your seat, practically gnawing your nails down to the quick. With the emotions freely flowing, you feel your heart rate elevated…talk about can’t turn the page fast enough! There is a question Dylan asks at one point..”Why would God be so cruel?” I ask the same of this author..as tears track down my face. Brilliant writing!
Good humour once again is an underlying element that is terrific, the one liners and fun banter makes you chuckle out aloud. This balances the more serious aspect in the story nicely.
Another sensational story by this talented writer.
I don’t think I have ever cried from how sweet a couple was the way I did while reading this. Full of the best kind of OTT alpha sweetness Out Of The Flames completely stole my heart. What really makes this book stand out though isn’t just that the couple is already married, but that they are happily married. I’m talking head over heels soul mates kind of love. It’s not often I find a book where the couple is married already, but I don’t think I have ever read one where they were so happily in love with each other the way Dylan and Tate are.
While these two are so sweet together it’ll give you a toothache that doesn’t mean their life is perfect. Struggling with something many couples and women struggle with, their desire to bring more love into their family with a baby weighs heavily on them both. I adored how even living through a complete nightmare their love held strong.
Leah Sharelle has this series shaping up to be just as incredible as her previous one! I can’t wait to see what comes next.
5 Stars
Dylan is hands down one of the most intense alpha characters I have ever read. Tate is his wife and a strong woman who is just as possessive of her man but loves being the woman he is possessive over as well. Oftentimes stories with alphas this strong can be too over the top but in this book and with this couple is works perfectly! This is a story of a married couple and the trials they go through during some of the most heartbreaking moments. You will laugh and you will cry. Your heart will ache for these two amazing people and all they will go through. In the end this story is absolutely amazing.

This is going to be short and sweet because I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that this book ripped my heart out and then pieced it back together. I ugly cried hard with Tate and Dylan during this book. But what came from their tragedy was beautiful and happy. I totally fell in love with this couple. They heat up the pages easily, but the depth of emotion that came through in the story is what really rocked me. So I will say that I HIGHLY and UTTERLY recommend this book that EVERYONE!! Happy reading!!
Stars: 5+
Oh my goodness!! I ugly cried at times in this book!! Dylan and Tate have this once in a lifetime marriage and love and then they are dealt blow after blow. They were brought together when Tate’s roommate accidentally tried to burn their apartment down and Dylan was a fireman that came to put out the fire. From that moment it was all she wrote in their love story. These two are so sweet together they each have a sixth sense when the other is thinking about them or has eyes on them, it’s kind of eerie in a sweet way. Their troubles begin when Tate struggles become pregnant and then the unthinkable happens. Will Tate in Dylan’s love survive a most horrific accident? I can’t wait for the next installment of the series!!! I highly recommend this book!
Dylan and Tate have been head over heels in love since the moment that they met. They have been together for 10 years now and their life and marriage just gets better everyday. Dylan will do and give Tate anything her heart desires. He wont let anything stand in his way to make his wife happy. And the same can be said about Tate.
But the one thing they both want to give each other is just not happening. They both desperately want a baby. And for the last year they have been trying but its just not happening. And both of them have this fear of being inadequate and fear of their partner leaving them if they can’t give them this one thing.
So they do what anyone would do, they make an appointment with a specialist, but before they could get answers, tragedy strikes and takes them on a rollercoaster ride that they did not expect. A ride that will test both of their commitment and love and acceptance of each other.
This book was a bit different to the first one. Much less drama, but a lot more heart break and challenges in the couples relationship and trials to see what they are made of. Have some tissues handy when you pick up this one ladies
A highly emotional novella. I am head over heels for this couple! I felt their struggle, having experienced it. I did need the tissues. Dylan and Tate will tug at your heart strings too, I think! Well written story, amazing characters! Kudos to Ms. Sharelle!
I’m such a huge fan of Leah Sharelle she has written some amazing books and this is one of them I can’t wait to see what she will come up next . Out of the flames was a unique read one being that the couple are already together and two we get to see how they fight through the struggle that so many couples are going through my heart really hurt for them and through the authors writing I got to feel what Tate and Dylan are feeling . Dylan and Tate’s relationship was beautiful really liked this couple my feelings towards them didn’t change through out the book . I hope to see more of these characters in the future because they were a joy to read and definitely want to more by the author .

Let’s start off by saying that I am really loving this new series.I am so loving the character’s of this series as they are simply amazing and “oh”, so love-able.Dylan and Tate were the perfect couple and definitely soul mates. We loved seeing this couple together they we fun and flirty and so in love even after being together for 10 years and still on the newly wed high even ten years later whats more, they were smoking hot together.
This story was packed with a ton of heat! All I can say is “I want a Dylan for myself wrapped up in a big red bow giggles!” Holy hotness ! that men was sex on a stick.
We loved Dylan the most he was our favorite this time around. We found him to be loving and compassionate and fun and had a sense of humor and sexy as sin but, most of all we loved how much he was in love with his women as she was his whole world and he lived a breathed her but, really vise versa.
We loved how Dylan and Tate first met as time and time again he thanked her room-mate out loud for trying to burn down there apartment .One look into her eyes and he walked up to her and said “MINE”! any they were together literally from the day they met.
Favorite quote-
“What did I do to deserve you?” Laughing, I cuddled her closer to me. “Your idiot roommate accidentally burned your house down, and you looked at me with those amazingly hypnotic eyes of yours and ruined me for anyone else.”
I have to say that I loved Carson and Lake’
s story but, this current story just jumped to the top of my favorites in this on going series. The hotter the better and “oh”, boy this book was just that.
Overall all we loved this story from beginning to end.The story was filled with hotness and love and angst and heartbreak but, it was also fun and flirty. The story made us laugh as well as cry and I have to say the story effected us emotionally right down to our bones. My heart bleed for this couple and the tragedy they endured but, most of all you actually felt the pain this couple was experiencing their pain as a couple and individually and it was excruciating.
We just loved this touching tale and it definitely goes into the keeper pile to be re-read time and time again. This author has a knack for creating amazing character’s because each and everyone of them we can’t help but love.
Recommended read to all !
I was so excited for the next installment in this series as per usual, Leah did not disappoint! I loved that we were able to see a couple that was already together for a period of time prior to the book that gave us a different perspective of relationships after the “honeymoon” stage. It also provides insight into the strain and struggles that arise during infertility. I really loved how Dylan did not let Tate get into her own head, because it is a lot harder on women than men it seems. When the unthinkable happens and more things come to light, I was devastated for the couple! I was really rooting for them and my heart honestly broke. Thankfully, this is a HEA storyline and it also gave us another look into how people rebuild their lives after tragedy. Overall I really loved the realistic aspect of this book and can’t wait to see who’s next!
