He watches me from his window.I put on my best shows for him because I know he likes what I do.Blood, death, and sometimes things I know I shouldn’t. I study him from my balcony and remember the things he likes best, always careful to show him what I know will bring him back out for more. I’ll do anything that will keep his attention because he’s different. He doesn’t know it yet, but he’s going … know it yet, but he’s going to be my hero.
It’s his fate.
We’re the same kind of monster, he and I, and I’ll make him remember what’s at stake before it’s all said and done.
He’s my only hope.
Just one more final game before the hunt really begins.
It’s only fair.

Ok girl you got that!
I finally had my Yolanda Olson cherry popped!!! And I think I’m hooked now.
Super dark read with a didn’t see coming ending!!
Short and to the point. I didn’t feel cheated out of the story, no lack of description or content.
Heed the warnings so you aren’t complaining later.
Strangers kept me intrigued and constantly guessing. I could not predict the end… at all. The writing was good and those who enjoy horror and gore will love this.
I am not sure if I can describe what I read. All I know I was engaged in the story. This book isn’t for the faint of heart. It is beyond dark and them some. The twists and turns will keep you guessing. This book took me on one heck of a ride.
I know when I read Yolanda Olson`s books that there will be twists and everything isn`t always what it seems. This book got me, I expected Fiona to be one thing and I was so wrong. This book kept me on the edge and I couldn’t wait to turn the page and discover what was next. Love the characters and wow you blew my mind. Thank you for the darkness.
From the Qween of Horror herself Yolanda Olson come another bloody brilliant book with all the twisted goodness you can handle
Definitely a must read
A tantalizingly twisted little page-turner! Yolanda Olson has astounded me once again!
Insatiably dark and devious, these characters drew me into their little game. Yolanda kept my fingers dancing on the pages as I eagerly devoured the words until the very last one.
What a twist! This author is a master of the art of unpredictability and it’s something which repeatedly entices me into her books.
I did NOT see that coming!
The way this story starts off, it’s easy to assume you know what’s happening. But don’t fall into that trap, because you have no idea the twisted tale you stepped into.
In Strangers you meet two people who are not exactly the neighborhood norm. From the first sentence you’ll be hooked into finding out more about them and at the end you’ll be wondering about all the strangers in your life.
I Received this Book from Author for Honest Review.
I’m giving this book 4/5 stars.
Romance: 1.5/5 Not a Bad Thing! It’s just not really a front runner in here
Dark: 5/5
Suspense/Drama: 5/5 Did not expect that ending at all.
Dark Erotic: 5/5
No Spoilers.
This book…is not at all what I was expecting, I was slightly confused here and there.
Then I was absolutely fascinated near, and at the ending!
Honestly I don’t know what to say except that I found this book Totally MindForking(!!) and I really enjoyed the heck out of this.
Will I read more from this Author? Absolutely!
Dark and strangely erotic!
Strangers starts off with a bang, trapping you in this haunting story from the very beginning. It’s like an insane ride through a house of horrors and you think you know where it’s heading. Until you don’t.
I absolutely love twists and turns and I feel that they really keep the story interesting. And the twist at the end of this story? It nearly gave me whiplash! Holy crap! I thought I knew what was going to happen, or at least had a general idea, but, in typical Ms. Olson fashion, I was completely and utterly wrong.
Strangers is a quick read, but it’s so dark, bloody, erotic, and chock full of story, you don’t even realize it. While the ending definitely wraps everything up, it still leaves you wanting more. It left me speechless and almost gasping in shock. I didn’t see that ending coming in the slightest, but it was fitting
While this is only the second book I’ve ready by Ms. Olson, it definitely will not be my last. She is an incredible story teller with an absolutely twisted mind! Just like me! I love it!
Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!
Not. What. I. Was. Expecting. At all. But so, so good. This book starts out fast paced, and it doesn’t stop. It is a non stop amazing read into the dark, so well spun around these two characters, that you never see the punch coming. And if you know this author, you should be ready for it. Such an amazing book, and one that I so highly recommend. Fiona and Orsen will capture you attention from the bloody start, and don’t let it go until the very gruesome end. One click it ASAP. 5
In Strangers you follow Fiona and her desire to please the mystery man, Orson, on the balcony that always watches the unique and bloody hobby that she does. Orson is intrigued by the beauty that allows him to view her shows until one day, they finally meet. But is it for the better or is it for the worse? The author took me on a horror, suspense filled tale with a glorious twist with these two.
This is story about 2 people. They live across from each other. They know about each other but have only seen each other through their windows. It’s a wild ride from start to finish. I truly believe one thing was happening then bam a twist. I actually had to reread the last chapters to get what happened because I was so sure I had figured it out but I was soooo wrong in a good way.
Oh wow – I love how this story played out! Yolanda Olson has done it again – an intense story with a so many questions, an ending you can’t see coming, and twists you wouldn’t have imagined. Loved it!!
Fiona & Orson are strangers.. they watch each other from their windows across from each other. What happens behind those windows though, now that might be the definition of dark and disturbed! Nothing is what it seems in this twisted horror story.
“What does it take to wrest the devil out of Hell to play with the wicked?” This is not a romance…this is something else and I loved every dark, twisted, horrific minute of it! Told in dual POV
This story is about two strangers who live across the way from each other, Fiona and Orson. Fiona seems lonely and looking for attention but Orson just wants to be left alone until he sees someone who makes him pause and gives him a reason to look. Will they be good for each other or a complete disaster?
This book you cannot help but feel for the main character, the story is woven in such a way that it reminds you of a magic trick when you read the ending, you were so focused on one thing that you did not see what was really coming and it will make you want to read it back from the start again, trying to see if you should have picked up on it all along, the answer is no, you won’t be able too!
It was genius.
While this is a short read it is extremely well written and a full complete story. I would not consider this as pitch black dark but at the same time the authir spares no expense or details. Inwould no classify this story as a romance in anyway. Its more like a modern day Grimm’s Fairy Tale or even a great haunted urban legend. I enjoyed it but naybe would have liked a few more details near the ending; if feel lije it was a bit rushed and the story got slightly muddled. I’ve read this author before and she is dark but alway with a purpose. I love her shorter reads, they tend to ne my favorites.
