Gah! What a beautiful story
I couldn’t put this book away.
I was seriously putting my family at risk, because I even read while I was cooking too
This book just had me “ALL IN”, especially because of the endless emotional and heartbreaking moments.
A love story between two people, who have so many doubts and insecurities, that they closed their minds and emotions to the people in front of them. The past has shown them that they are never enough. That they are not good enough to be the most important person in someones life. This book describes the life with and after a addition in the Hollywood world of rich and famous. It shows the bottled up anger that is accumulate in their consciousness, influenced by the addiction and unprocessed traumas of the past. A heartbreaking struggle for friendship and love.
And what a love
I really loved Virginia and Ryan.
The book is extremely emotional and nerve wracking, but also funny and swoony.
A perfect mix of humor and drama, not to forget the very detailed written hot scenes
I can’t believe that’s just Gabrielles second book
Definitely a must-read for all who love their book romantic with a lot of drama, amazing humor and beautiful HEA.
I needed this story y’all! I needed to have a happily ever after for Ryan after Always & Only and Gabrielle G delivered it perfectly. I loved the push and pull between Ryan and Virginia. I loved that Virginia was strong and she didn’t give that up even in the hardest of times. I also enjoyed seeing Ryan become a better version of the man he used to be as the story went on. I think Gabrielle took the touchy subject of addiction and showed just how it can break someone but she also showed how those same people can rise from the ashes and start again. Such an awesome story. My heart is happy.
THIS BOOK! This is that book that stays with you and doesn’t let go even when you are done reading! Ryan and Virginia are the most beautifully broken couple and their journey will inspire you. This love story is brutal, ugly, and awe-inspiring! The strength of these two is astounding and their love is just beautiful! Gabrielle G. puts all the feels in this book, and it is perfection! Her words leave you breathless and wanting more! You NEED this book in your life!
Oh, Ryan Marley. As we say in the south- Bless him.
He’s a shadow of the man he once was after what happened in Always & Only, and my heart truly bled for him as he shut everyone out of his life and has disappeared for the last two years without a trace, binging on booze and women- nothing short of an addict.
So it’s up to Virginia Porter to attempt to track him down for Ian and Julie’s wedding, and from one glance, Ryan knows he’s got yet another addiction.
We got to meet Virginia, Ian’s sister, in book 1 and she was still the same tough as nails former addict as she was in book 2, but once glance at Ryan and suddenly, inhibition is out the window and she’s facing yet another addiction herself.
Two addicts. One sizzling attraction. What’s a couple to do? But can they handle reality when it comes crashing down on them? And will the drive to be together be their downfall or can they both overcome their compulsions? I got so frustrated with these two at multiple points in the story, but my heart went out to them as they worked hard to overcome their dependence on substance abuse and embrace their flaws, both of one another and each other. I loved Virginia’s strength and Ryan’s persistence. They complemented each other so well and their struggles were endearing and their love story raw.
I commend Gabrielle for her bravery in writing something so personal to her. It’s good to see a story break the mold and make you uncomfortable but also leave you warm inside. I enjoyed catching up with Dex, Ian and Julie and seeing Asher grow in his relationship with his mother.
These characters’ nuisances and battles are what keeps me coming back for more.
**ARC REVIEW**
I must begin by saying, I applaud Gabrielle for this amazing book. When you read her book it feels as if she’s been writing forever. It’s so fluent and the characters flow well with each other, it feels so realistic and raw.
Never & Forever is the story of Virginia and Ryan. Virginia finds herself in a predicament. She’s chosen to reach out to her twin brother and soon to be wife Julia’s best friend Ryan. The asshole she hasn’t spoken to in years and everyone has been avoiding.
What Virginia doesn’t expect are the feelings she feels when she meets Ryan and what escalates from that meet.
Ryan has been avoiding his friends for 2 years now. He has been quietly self destructing inside, showing a different appearance in the outside. Deep down he needs his friends and they have abandon him when he needed them most. There’s one person who sees through his facade and that’s Virginia. His goal is to take advantage of the situation and destroy Virginia with his self destruction.
Two people who have something unexpectedly in common “addiction”. Virginia being sober for over 12yrs and Ryan in denial with his addiction, until Virginia breaks him. But before Virginia breaks Ryan does Ryan break her??
This book is full of absolute love, struggles and most importantly hope! You will enjoy each chapter and fall in love with the badass that Virginia is!
I am speechless. I’ve never seen such an amazing display of a tough subject, and it be made into something beautiful and full of love. The author has created a world of normal, human beings who have real life struggles. It is a roller coaster of emotions. I didn’t know whether to laugh, scream, cry or throw my kindle. It is a story that will drag you under from the first word. She has blown this story out of the water, and her future is very bright.
Ryan and Virginia (totally swoon). They were a major part of the precious book and take this book by storm!! Their story is one of hurt and addiction. They struggle throughout the whole story, but see they have to take care of themselves.
Ryan is a sorry excuse of a man. He has struggled greatly with addiction and has reached his lowest point. It takes a tragic event and heart break to see he needs help.
Their journey is one of love, family, and dedication. They find their way, but it was a curvy, windy road. Amazing story of second chances and devotion.

Book 2 in the Angels and Sunshine series by Gabrielle G had me hooked. It touches every part of my soul.
Ryan Marley and Virginia Porter complete one another. Ryan’s dirty mouth was hilarious. The things he would say to Virginia had me laughing out loud. But aside from all the banter and laughs there was an underlying matter that made the book and the characters so real. Addiction. It is a battle that both Ryan and Virginia went through. Finding the right support is what led them to the light. Sometimes all it takes is one person to help get you through the darkest times in your life. I loved the strength both characters possessed together and apart. It’s a true testament to one if you can handle things alone and seek the guidance and help needed. Ryan and Virginia were so strong but so much more when they were together. I loved it!
It was great seeing all the characters from Always & Forever but you don’t necessarily have to read it to follow this one. This is my fave so far in the series but I look forward to what else Gabrielle G has in store for us. It is serious, heartwarming, funny with some steam. My heart goes out to all that suffers or has know someone that suffers from addiction. Stay strong and brave. This is a must read.

: It has been almost a week or more since I read this book. I kept on reading it until I felt full. I had a perfect dose of Ryan and Virginia. Damn, this book had me clenching my ovaries tight with a gleeful smile all way along. I couldn’t stop devouring their scenes.
Honestly speaking, Gabrielle killed it with Never and Forever.
So much angst, perfect amount of want and longing, hearts in synchrony, dancing flames in eyes, touch so irresistible that you turn into mush. The feels were real. Ryan and Virge, two addicts, one recovered, the former now a slave to alcohol and sex were perfect for each other. But which story got its end easily? These two go through so much that at last, you want ONLY THEM to be on your screen, screw the assholish attitude. The sass, the torture, the tears, the fights and all the insecurities were embraced by me. I loved, loved this book. And Julie+Ian, screw you both. The ship never sailed anyway
The supporting characters, Dex, Luke, Asher and everyone involved were equally breathtaking.
Well what can i say, this book is different to what i usually read but i am glad i did. Fantastic story of two lost souls trying to re build their lives after hard addiction. Ryan is the guy you’d love to hate but once you see past the phony persona he steals your heart. Virginia is a strong willed woman afraid to fall in love for fear of the consequences to her recovery. Great book look forward to reading the rest.
