Ashton aka Ash is a self-confessed female nerd. She works in a comic book store loves trivia, games, her family, etc. but has no confidence in herself. She was picked on and bullied all through high school and has a complex about it. Her ten year high school reunion is coming up and she wants to impress by having a gorgeous fake boyfriend. She finds one online, sends a message to which he responds, meets him at a Wi-Fi café, hit it off and then the fun really begins. Ash basically has no social skills, however Trace, (the boyfriend) is going to teach her lots of skills. LOL This is a great read with several unexpected twists. If you want to be entertained – grab this book!

Red Robin
I love fake boyfriend books and alpha guys. But this one lacked something. He only seemed to be alpha during sex…not secure in himself due to his background. She was a nerd which I am fine with but there was just something about her nerdiness that was a putoff.
I don’t know…it just didn’t click with me the way I was hoping it would.

I liked this book and the characters. I felt that the plot was a good combination of cute and sweet. The chemistry between the characters was easy to feel and I enjoyed the pull of attraction that the couple shared. I do think that the story had the potential to be a more powerful book. As is, it is a fun upbeat romance.
