I have read every one of these books in this series. The first one was wonderful, the second one was good, this book was just blah. I can not with good feelings, say that I overall enjoyed this book. I was looking forward to this book and seeing how Misty would end the love story of everyone, and with the final piece, adding to the family. I felt lost, bored, and plan just over it. There was nothing new to the story, and I didn’t feel the chemistry between Lyssa and what is her last mate. Yes, they had sex a lot of it. However, that was all there was — a lot of sex between people but no real chemistry that would make a relationship.
So, in all honesty, I am happy I read this series, but I wish the ending were a little more story, not so much sex.
There is lots of drama, excitement, danger, action, heat and emotion in the third book of this series. You do need to read the first two books in the series first because the story continues throughout. Toss in some magic elements and this reverse harem dragon shifter was the complete package and super enjoyable.
An AMAZING conclusion to a wonderful PN romance series!
I love dragon paranormal stories, and this third book in by Misty Malloy’s ORESTAIA SERIES has kept my literary need for a dragon’s caress well-fulfilled. All parts of this multi-novel series have been full of page-turning excitement as well as all sorts of STEAMINESS as first Lyssa fought her legacy, her dragon, then her burgeoning magic, and finally her destiny along with that of her ailing sister Amelie and cousin Shay to heal the Orestaia Stone. A stone crucial to the mating and pregnancy of the weredragons. Because it is not in working order, the number of dragons worldwide were becoming dangerously low, so Lyssa and her sister felt impossible pressure to do what was needed for the stone to be healed. The problem was, they did not know what to do beyond the place and the knowledge that the magic required to heal the stone required both of the sisters. So, Lyssa had to develop the magic she had spent her lifetime avoiding, in order to be ready to play her part in the healing of the Orestaia Stone. The only thing Lyssa did not fight was her destiny to be wed to five male dragons to make her nuclear family complete. I have fallen in love with the amazing world that author Malloy has made using her easy style and phenomenally descriptive prose. Add to that a bevy of equally alluring characters and some “love-to-hate-em” villains, and it is no wonder that “IGNIGHTED” has earned five out of five stars from this reviewer! While this may be the conclusion, I suspect/hope it will not be the last for readers who have fallen into the world Misty Malloy has so wonderfully created! I voluntarily read an advanced copy of “IGNIGHTED” and this is my honest, voluntary review! Get your copy of “IGNIGHTED” today! Happy pages!
A fantastic conclusion to an amazing series. I’m sad to see Lyssa and her mates go, but I will always be able to re-read their adventures. This book had the most action and drama of the series. It kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know if Lyssa would fall into temptation of the easy way out. I love watching the explosive chemistry blossom into love between Lyssa and all of her mates. Will Lyssa along with her sister and mates be able to save the Orestaia? I look forward to reading anything by this author, I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!
