Falling head-first into the wrong woman’s bed was not how Reed Bishop’s night was supposed to go. Now a gorgeous, half-naked ballet dancer was threatening his manhood…with a book. He can’t blame her. It wasn’t how it seemed–he was just doing his job, tracking down his lead informant, who, unfortunately, took off, leaving him to figure out what to do with her friend. Staying in her apartment … apartment was no longer safe.
And that’s how he got himself into this mess.
Now she’s sleeping in his bed while he tosses and turns on the couch.
There are pink tights in his bathroom.
Pointe shoes next to his boots.
He swears he won’t touch her like that…but he can’t ignore his fantasies.
As a tattooed, muscled DEA Agent, Reed’s seen some things. Drug dealers, murderers…He can’t let Talia get close. Even though she’s made it clear they’re both fighting the same hunger. And he definitely can’t use his handcuffs on her…no matter how much she begs.

This book had me at narcotics (DEA) agent and ballerina. It would be difficult to find two more opposite people, but it spoke to me on a personal level for many reasons (former ballerina here, for one). The author hit the nail on the head with numerous details for both professions but was a little stronger on the DEA attitudes and worries. I would have liked to have seen a little more of Talia’s rehearsals to balance the war she felt with herself. Most primas I knew would never let a guy distract them from the lead in “Giselle.” But that’s being nitpicky, because oh holy hotness for the sexy time scenes! Wow! I thought everything was well-balanced and very realistic and would definitely recommend this book. Wrong Bed, Right Girl by Rebecca Brooks is book Two in the Accidental Love Series. This is the story of Reed and Talia. I haven’t yet read the previous book, so for me this was a standalone book.
Talia has returned from London to find she needs a new place to live since her best friend and roommate has moved in with Talia’s brother (first book love story). When a fellow ballerina is leaving town ASAP she takes over her small apartment…which leads to Reed breaking into it. Reed is a DEA agent working on a case and he goes to check on a informant but instead finds Talia in bed and she starts hitting him with a book. When he understands what going on he takes her to a safe place…aka his home. Sparks fly between the two but Reed has some emotional baggage that he has to deal with before he truly understands his need for Talia.
Enjoyed their story and hope to read more from this author.
