She’s been spoiled her entire life. Now it’s time for her to get a taste of daddy’s belt. After her father’s death, Melanie Smith is shocked to learn that he was so deep in debt even his house will be seized by his creditors. Homeless, penniless, and with no job prospects in America, she has little choice but to return to New Zealand and accept the only employment available to her, even though it … her, even though it will mean leaving the comforts of her old life behind to work as a farmhand.
Teaching a spoiled city girl how to care for his livestock is the last thing Blake Howard wanted, but something about Melanie calls to him. He finds himself wanting to give her exactly what she needs, and no matter how much the thought makes her blush, what she needs is to be taken very firmly in hand by a daddy who won’t hesitate to redden her bare bottom as often as necessary.
When Melanie pushes Blake too far with her petulant disobedience she quickly discovers that his threat to spank her was not an idle one, yet as she goes about her first day on the farm with a sore backside her arousal grows more intense with each passing minute. Soon she is calling him daddy as he claims her hard and thoroughly, but as she is held in his arms, spent and satisfied, she cannot help wondering what it will be like the first time she feels the sting of daddy’s belt.

A great quick read.
Melanie is a spoiled brat who has never been told no. When her father dies she is left destitute. Her mother arranges a job for her as a farmhand Blake hires her, pays for her ticket to Australia only to learn that she is a undisciplined brat. That premise is so farfetched hence the 4 stars. The story of how Blake trains Melanie as a farmhand and submissive is pretty good. Daddy’s belt works wonders.

MY HOUSE, MY RULES
The story is a stand-alone and will be a wake-up call for Melanie Smith when her entire spoiled lifestyle vanishes and reality hits her hard. Blake Howard needs a farm hand and has agreed to train one, even paying for her plane ticket from California to Auckland. Have these two bit off more than either one was expecting?
What happens when a spoiled American girl learns that after the death of her father, there is nothing left? In shock, with only her clothing, she will leave California and fly to New Zealand, where her mother has helped her secure a job. But what will Melanie’s new employment entail—working on a farm?
Blake will meet Melanie at the bus stop in town, about an hour from his farm—and what a shock it will be for each of them. She is dressed in designer clothing, decked out in jewelry and makeup. Arriving at the farm full of mud and animals waiting for their attention—plus learning Blake has rules and expects to be obeyed.
“I don’t follow rules. I never have. I don’t think I know how to.”
“You need rules. Discipline. Structure. Guidance. Punishment. What you need, little girl is a daddy. I can help you. I’ll be your daddy. I will give you rules, and boundaries, and consequences.”
The story is a Daddy Dom-little girl tale of two people that are complete opposites in lifestyles. Blake needs a farmhand, and Melanie needs a job—and what she gets is a stern Daddy who knows just how to handle a naughty and at times, bratty little girl.
“This is what happens to disobedient girls; they get Daddy’s belt.”
The story will include life on the farm, learning various task like working with fences, animals and dealing with day-to-day chores on a working farm. It will have Blake and Melanie growing close and developing a DD-lg relationship with sex and spankings. Blake always carries out discipline as he promised, like a good daddy should to correct his naughty little girl.
“She’d lost her entire identity. Could her life actually get any worse?”
The story has multiple spankings and explicit sex scenes. While this is a DD/lg story, it is not age-play. It does have a HEA ending.
3.5 Kiwi Daddy Stars
Professionally written, “Daddy’s Belt” portrays the story of a young woman born in New Zealand but spent her developing years in the United States. Living with her father, the heroine is accustomed to an affluent, Southern California, lifestyle. When her father passes away prematurely, Melanie is left destitute and has no recourse but to return to New Zealand where her mother resides. Accepting an unspecified employment arrangement, Melanie is disheartened to discover her newly acquired occupation is a hired hand, at a farm located in a rather remote area on New Zealand’s North Island. As original settlers to the area, the land has been farmed by the hero’s family for generations and Blake reveres the land as well as his occupation. With the farm heavily mortgaged by his deceased father, experienced help is essential to support the extent of farming required to remain profitable. Blake is very disappointed to learn his new farmhand is nothing more than a totally inexperienced, pretentious city girl, acclimated to an opulent lifestyle with no prior employment history.
Although, both Blake and Melanie are extremely dissatisfied with the situation, they agree to a daddy/baby girl dynamic. Initially the dynamic is based upon guidance, supervision and punishment whenever the rules are violated but quickly transforms to include a sexual relationship. The intimate encounters are steamy, and the story-line relatively fast-paced but the characters appeared somewhat immature in both their thoughts as well as actions. Melanie’s behavior frequently far exceeded spoiled and often entered the range of repugnant. Her personality borders on narcissistic and her endless vacillation between loving Blake and hating him, gave me whiplash.
Overall, Blake is a much more likeable character but his behavior immediately following their initial sexual encounter is just wrong. He takes her on the dining room table (his idea) and as soon as he is finished, begins getting dressed. Blake places his shirt underneath her behind and when she appears confused, tells her he doesn’t want his table ruined… Not cool when you’ve known someone less than 24 hours. Of course, Melanie is completely humiliated and thoroughly embarrassed. His expectations for a young woman experiencing grief and life altering changes are also unrealistic. Without a period of adjustment, he puts her to work, frequently exhibiting both anger and annoyance even when she is making a sincere attempt to carry out a chore. Blake also rapidly cycles with his feelings regarding Melanie as well. While weaning lambs he become angry with her performance and when she reacts by running off… contemplates sending her away, although he had already declared his love for her not long before the incident.
Overall the story is professionally written and moderately entertaining but without a strong character connection, the Daddy/baby girl dynamic became arduous, diminishing enjoyment and reducing the rating to 3.5 stars.

—>>> Review Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5 stars – Melanie has been pampered by her father all her life until his unexpected death put her in a life’s tailspin. Now penniless and finding herself far from her sunny California home, Melanie has had to adjust to her life as a farmhand in Auckland of all things and having a sexy-as-sin boss to answer to. Nice slow-burn story as she learns to function in the real way of life with her sexy new boss Blake, under his rules.
Blake and Melanie couldn’t be more opposite. She’s a carefree party girl with no idea of how her actions affect other people. He’s a strong, stern man who rarely eases up with his gruffness. But, somehow, they are exactly what the other needs. The road to each other is long and hard, but filed with love and nurturing. Blake is exactly the type of Daddy Melanie needs to fill the void in her life and keep her safe and happy. She’s just the girl to help him realize that love is the most important aspect of life. I truly enjoyed reading about their journey and watching them navigate the path to each other.
Blake needed a ranch hand, that was why he paid for her ticket to come to New Zealand, but what he wasnt expecting was a spoiled brat in need of a good spanking and a daddy to teach her the error of her ways.
Melanies father has just died, leaving her with nothing, luckily her mother comes through and sends her a ticket saying she can come to New Zealand only if she is willing to work hard. But on arriving she sees Blake and his truck. Taken back she appalled at the job she has been given . But at the farm she pushes Blake to far and gets a taste of spankings she will possibly get in the future. She then breaks down after all she has been through and Blake tells her how it will be between them, he is her Daddy and she will be his little girl. But little girl or not she has trouble obeying orders and soon gets into trouble earning her a belt. It takes Melanie only a small amount of time to get settled into what she has to help with on the ranch, but soon her temper comes out and gets her into trouble…. will she ever learn to trust and be happy.
I have to say i thoughly enjoyed reading this really great story it is just up my ally, my kind of Daddy book… thank you for a wonderful story
